Eden was as resilient as ever, not at all aware of why she'd been captured or why Rogue had chosen to leave her alive. However, upon the elder's question, despite her anger, she knew there had to be some form of reason she hadn't been killed on sight. That being said, despite the fact she knew she was alive it was quite obvious she was at the mercy of the vampires here until she was able to free herself of the ivs implanted within her arms. Still, cooperating with monsters was far from Meredith's forte, her iron will simply would not allow it. To cooperate was to admit defeat and show weakness, a point both agreed upon.
Against what most would consider her better judgment, Eden remained stoic and indignant. Her unwillingness to cooperate was made apparent as she rolled her eyes at Rogue's observation she was holding up, followed by a violent jerk of her arm that managed to rattle the chain holding her to the table precariously. Just as she was about to tell Rogue to cut to the chase, the elder asked her if she knew why she'd been brought to what she could only assume was Las Noches.
"I can only assume I was brought here because I got caught by one of those wicked bullets that are definitely more potent than your average nitrate." She wasn't here to play games and she wasn't willing to cater to Rogue's way of going about things.
She was far more concerned with what had happened to Ceon and RJ than answering Rogue's vague questions and playing her games. Then again, perhaps she could play along and trade information as they went along. She could answer Rogue's question legitimately and Rogue could answer hers. Both had enough intuition to know whether the other was lying so it could prove a fair trade.

Ceon's arms fell weakly back on the table. The mix of intervenus drugs coarsing through his veins was too much for Ceon to try anything. All he could do was glare and nod in regards to the water. The only moisture in and around his mouth was the silver that speckled his long beard. Ceon's fingers twitched in anticipation, not just for the water, but for the moment one of these vampires would slip up so he could break out of these chains.

"That, they are."
Rogue's eyes and ears were attentive to Eden's heartbeat and movements. If there were lies, Rogue would deal with it accordingly. Rogue shifted on her feet.
"The peace has been broken between the lycans and vampires. Many of my kind have gone missing, and many have showed up half chewed by lycans. Deaths on both sides have been done in haste, all because of a bombing to a vampire safe house a few weeks ago. Lycans were waiting for any survivors, and killed them immediately."
She lit a cigarette. "Now, what I want to know is, what part did the hunters have to play in all this? I'm curious. Where do your loyalties actually lie, now that you are in a race that you hunt and kill down?"

"Excuse me, miss, may I help you?" the guard stationed at the front entrance asked sternly, grabbing hold of Alexz by the arm as she attempted to slip past him.
Such an unusual reception caught the vampire Elder by surprise, her brow furrowing in confusion as she searched the guard's face for any hint of recognition, of which none was received. As the guard prepared to telepathically communicate with other officials within the club, Alexz intercepted an image of her appearance, which reasonably justified the guard's reaction. Through his eyes she saw the gauntness of her figure, the hollows of her cheeks, and the deep shadows around her reddened eyes. The normally vibrant and healthy elder looked positively famished and ragged, so much so that she was difficult to recognize at a fleeting glance.
"It's me. Alexandra Greene. I realize the difference in appearance is alarming, but I assure you, it is me," she explained lowly, her voice possessing a softness indicative of a prolonged period of silence.
The shortage of blood packs, her primary source of nourishment, as she felt uncomfortable feeding on live humans, had drained her of energy to a point where her body shut down in order to better preserve energy; however, her mind had reached a state of unrest which drove her from her chambers and into Las Noches seeking answers.
His firm grip on her arm loosened quickly, his head bowing slightly, "Very sorry, Miss Greene, my deepest apologies."
Alexz's subsequent entrance into the club was met with an assault of the senses. The loudness of the bar's booming music and many chattering patrons was magnified by her recent period of isolation. Her jaw tended as she took a moment to become accustomed to the atmosphere before she made her way through the crowd.
"Rogue, what is going on?" such a short simple question carried such heavy implications.

The familiar voice in her mind took her to a different place than the room she was in momentarily. Dear God, Alexz...you're here.
As Rogue waited for a response from Eden, she took another long drag on her cigarette and conversed with the other vampire elder through a mental bond. Please make your way to the bartender on the lower level. He will bring you to where we are...I do need your assistance. Your gifts could prove quite useful...while you have been away, the peace between vampires and lycans has been severed.
I might have collected two of their kind to help try and find some answers...I need you to possibly help me interrogate Meredith...you do remember her, I'm sure. She shifted as a human might, leaning again to the other foot. Alexz...where have you been... The words to Alexz's mind were fringed with emotion.

Milos handed Ceon the water in a styrofoam cup. Xandra then entered the room. She walked into view of Ceon. "I would like to explain something to you." She crossed her arms and stood somewhat nonchalantly. "You have a few options. We would like to think of you as a guest here. You cooperate, you walk out of here bandaged up and on your way. Simple. The other option, you can imagine...is not as simple."
A grin spread across her face, only it protruded something wicked and dark. "Of course, you know what I hope you will choose."

Meredith had nothing to hide and while she was distrusting of the elder, she took a moment to hear her out. As far as she could detect the elder was not lying to her about a safe house being bombed, which meant she was out of the loop and blind sided by the statement. "A bombing? This bombing didn't show up in the press nor was it reported to me by any of my hunters." That either meant her hunters had witnessed the scene and chosen not to report it, had been collateral damage and killed or had somehow missed the incident altogether entirely.
It seemed a briefing might be necessary as soon as she was able, provided Rogue didn't kill her here and now. While she could detect no lies from the elder she still distrusted her to the point she would never bring herself to fully believe the elder's word. Rogue had committed acts in the past that were, as far as Eden was concerned, grounds enough to not fully commit her trust. Blindly believing everything she was told was not how she'd come to survive as long as she had in New York. As a hunter she always had a healthy amount of suspicion where any outsider (non-hunter) was concerned.
"So far as my sources go, the hunters had absolutely no part in this. You know as well as me, though, that as a leader it is impossible to be all places at once. There could possibly be events that escaped my notice or events that went unreported. I can look into my data bases and see if there's something that slipped my notice but I am pretty sure if such an event occurred and my hunters were aware of it I would have been notified."
"I cannot offer you any useful information as this event was something I've been completely ignorant of until now. I can, however, promise to investigate and try to get to the bottom of the root behind such evil. That, however, would require your cooperation and authority of permitting me exclusive access to such areas. I assume there are more safe houses out there I'm unaware of and if you're hesitant to digress to me their whereabouts that's understandable. However, the safe house that you initially spoke of, that you should allow me to look into. I will do it personally so no other hunters interfere." If she was anything, she was a woman, monster, whatever people wanted to call her of her word. There was nothing but a genuine concern on the hunter leader's part.
Meredith did not miss Rogue's implication that she was lycan, nor did she disregard the fact that it had been lycans who had attacked the elder. Her conscience, however, was clear and she felt absolutely no need to defend herself. Her response to the elder was aloof and to the point, "Where my loyalties lie may seem complex to one who doesn't invest any consideration into my reasoning, however, it's really quite simple: I do not discriminate based on race. I tend to not like hypocrites so I try to be as fair as I can be. That being said: people who blatantly murder others, no matter what race, become subject to getting hunted. In other words, my loyalties lie with those who I feel I can trust and who have yet to wrong me or the people I protect."

Ceon's eyes turned to slits as Xandra spoke. He understood the position he was in but he did not take kindly to threatening remarks. "Watch your tongue, girl. I may just have rip out your fangs and wear them as a necklace for that." Ceon slid his long tongue to the back of his throat, which caused him to vomit once again on the floor to the left of the table he was chained to. He then picked up the cup with his teeth and gulped down the cool water. With a hoarse voice, he demanded, "Bring me Rogue..."

Rogue took another long drag while Meredith spoke. She listened intently trying to figure out any truth from lie. The only thing Rogue detected was sincerity behind her words. "There are clean up crews in place when events like this...happen. We've had things happen before that did make the public eye so...with witnesses to the unwanted event, if the lycans did not kill them, many were captured and wiped clean by our people. Humans and police alike who were brought on scene for the disturbance went home thinking they had drank a little too much. I could see how this wouldn't make the papers, but I am slightly surprised you've heard nothing until now."
She closed her eyes a moment and rubbed her forehead with a free hand. "If you are telling the truth, then, there could be some omission going on from your own hunter clan. Or it was just covered up too well for your people to become aware. That doesn't particularly bother me so much as, if you and yours have nothing to do with this. It more likely was either a faction acting on its own, or the lycan community as a whole."
Rogue removed her hand and took another drag on her cigarette. As she blew out the smoke slowly, she looked at Meredith, her eyes glowing a soft green in the poorly lit room. As a rule of thumb, vampires trusted little, and loved even less. Rogue had broken that mold from day one as one of the so called 'damned' with too much compassion and a willingness to try to see the best in people. The darkness and Sanguinarian in her made her hate herself because of her unwillingness to completely shut off whatever was left of her humanity, and the enormous death count she had wracked up over the centuries. Every day she fought for some form of balance. She might never fully be human, but she never wanted to forget her own humanity. Without the shreds of humanity that still lingered, she would have succumbed to the void centuries before.
Regardless of Rogue's inner toil, she knew if Meredith truly knew the amount of death on her hands, she would stop at nothing to make sure Rogue ceased to exist. Rogue didn't want to be a fool.
"As far as loyalty goes, you might be shocked to know I understand such complexities. Regardless, I want to trust you, and I would like to propose working with you on getting to the bottom of this. That might not be access to safe houses exactly, but full disclosure on a need to know basis. I don't want to necessarily arm you with locations meant for sanctuary of my people. You understand of course." She took another drag on the cigarette. Could she trust her? She didn't have time to find out, but she did have one of the most powerful psychic vampires on the planet as a dear friend.
"As for a little insurance for my own sanity, I'm going to have a friend of mine do a little digging. I hope you don't mind, and I apologize in advance, but this part of our chat is not optional." Rogue put a hand up to the door, giving a signal to the guard standing there to let Alexz in on the other side.

Dear sister, if you don't get in here soon, I will end this lycan out of sheer pleasure.
Xandra had little patience when it came to interrogations. She normally was not left in charge because her charges normally ended up dead. More often than not, she was specifically assigned jobs where it didn't matter if the detainee lived or died. She seemed to have an affinity for eliminating life.
She walked quietly over to the IV full of silver and increased the drip. Her voice was cool as she spoke. "You must understand...you don't make the demands here." She took a canister off of the table and opened it, pouring silver dust into her hand. Turning, she walked back to where Ceon was in the room and blew the dust into his eyes and onto his exposed chest.

Like saucers, Ceon's eyes become when she pumped even more nitrate into him. The dust made his pain even wars. Blood seeped out of the corners of Ceon's eyes and he let out a full fledged howl. His fangs bared and claws extended quickly from his hands and feet. "You b***h!" he screamed "Just you f*****g wait! I'LL END YOU!"
Ceon's last sentence was in a much darker tone than usual, almost demonic. He was so close to resorting to his greatest defense mechanism. It was something he only used if he was certain that death was on his doorstep, and it scared him to even use it after the pain he had caused to his loved ones with it. In a desperate attempt to heal and calm down, he began to hyperventilate and focus what energy he had to fight the silver inside him.

Rogue could feel Xandra's growing rage through their connection as Xandra spoke into her mind. Dammit, Xandra, have you even tried to get information from him? This is not the time for a power struggle with me, or the lycans. But if we're to get answers, we need to remain calm. He is not to be killed or harmed...and if your rage does not subside, it will be you in that chair...understood???
As she felt Xandra's rage, her own began to rise. They were both Sanguinarian at heart. As iron sharpens iron, so did Kaei and Xandra stir one another to violence and bloodshed. She suppressed a growl as she met Alexz at the door..

I may have agreed to come to this city, sister, but I don't need a lecture from you. His attitude needs readjusted, and I want to taste his blood in the air...
She flexed a fist and cracked her neck, trying to regain composure. She hated being told what to do, even if her sister was right. Milos looked at her with a blank expression. He knew not to disrupt whatever decent or poor decision she was about to make.
Xandra looked to the table full of instruments and back to Ceon. She picked up a syringe full of a dark black liquid. "Increase the sedative and chain his head back." Milos did what she ordered, and clicked a silver neck manacle around Ceon's neck, silver spikes also protruding, should the lycan try to turn, the movement and restructuring muscle would be torn by the silver, causing a lycan to be unable to fully turn. His neck was then clipped closely linked to the chair he was in, making head movement difficult.
Milos increased the drip, and took a step back. Xandra held the syringe in her hand and looked closely at the contents, examining as if there was a puzzle to be undone inside the canister. "Now. You have one chance to express what you know, or we keep falling down the rabbit hole. What do you know regarding the bombing of a vampire safe house three weeks ago?"

The sedative had only worked to put Ceon half to sleep. He gazed upon the syringe with cracked, reddened eyes and mumbled a lot. The only distinguishable words were a handful of curse words and offensive slurs about vampires. He then spit at Xandra before vomiting some more. There was certainly information inside his brain that pertained to that incident, but he had no intention of discussing any of it with anybody except for Rogue. She was the only vampire he knew to be somewhat rational.

((Sorry for the delay!! >.<))
"Ohh joy...how could I ever forget?" she said bitterly as she was led deep into the bar to the hidden halls and rooms.
As she passed through the halls, she overheard cries of distress and anguish, which concerned her until she recognized the presence of Rogue's sister in that same room. "I see Xandra is having a lovely time."
"As you can see by my appearance I've been to hell and back." Alexz said as Rogue opened the door, casting the glare of the harsh fluorescent lighting across her features, "When there was a shortage, I made the decision to lay low until it passed but it hasn't. The starvation forced my body into a deep sleep to better preserve my energy, but one can cope with hunger pains for only so long..."
"Good evening, Rogue," Alexz said aloud as she entered the room, "Good evening to you as well, Meredith, it's been quite some time.
She situated herself against the wall facing Meredith, her arms an legs crossing over one another. "Rogue, how can I be of assistance?" she asked, raising her eyes to meet hers.
