Meri already knows I do this stuff. xD Plus it's technically not in any mod's jurisdiction to ban any of us unless we're providing the means of doing the said acts here on Gaia. For instance, if somebody were to contact me over Instant Messenger and request a bit of help, it'd be in the clear.
If you guys would rather purchase something instead of being a bad person, there's always what Jen suggested, though Elements isn't as.. advanced, I guess you could say, as Photoshop CS2.

I'm fine with GIMP right now. It's not like I really do much art on this laptop anyway.
I had Photoshop once, but I was having a hard time figuring it out. I'm pretty good with Paint Shop Pro 7.

Well yeah, it's not as advanced, and there are features on the full version of photoshop that I miss, but as you mention, Alex, it's a legal copy and it will do a lot of things. My dad has the student version of photoshop. That may also be an option for any students out there.

Aye, it boils down to a) whether or not those extra features are needed / wanted, or b) the ethical stance of pirating vs legal purchase. You guys know my stance but you gotta make your own decisions. :3

Miriam The Bat Howwww do all you people afford photoshop? >_< *Messes around in the GIMP with a mouse instead of a tablet* The copy of 7.0 I got was actually only $40. My mom works for a college and she got this deal in an e-mail. Since CS had just come out at that time, the company was trying to sell off their 7.0 copies to make room for CS.

You can discuss illegal activities on Gaia. You just can't use Gaia to promote, engage in, or encourage such activities. For instance...
Every edit I've made has been created on software I haven't paid for! BLOOD EDITS! YOU ARE ALL BUYING BLOOD EDITS!
However I will not use Gaia to encourage someone else to do the naughty naughty thing I have done, pass along instructions or other useful information on how to do it, or let people know that I will help them to do it whether on-Gaia or off.

Actually my friend gave it to me for a house-warming gift. Only Ter would give me software for such an occassion. XD Ah, good times. She's my original Jedi bondmate from years and years ago.
