Taqune watched each of the Vain's come at him.His mind not thinking of statagy but of power.Taqune would wait til the last possible moment before Vain would attack and release his roar making a ball of sound around him it.It would be too large to dodge. And he hoped it would catch both of them shattering bone and metal alike,but Vain didn't know of his last power regeneration at the cellular level.

Vain smiled as his images merely passed through Taqune. His voice came from everywhere as he said, "If you think someone of my intelligence is stupid enough for a full frontal assault this early in the fight, then you need to think again." Vain laughed as he continued, "I can already perceive what you would have done, beast. You use sound, so blast me at the last second would have been easy as pie. And I saw what you did with Tatsu and Pippa. You hold regenerative capabilities, meaning that I would be left s**t out of luck. Lucky for me, while you've been playing with my after images, I've had enough time to make a new little doo-hicky I like to call a sound dampener. It sends out weak, high-pitched waves of sound out into the air, neutralizing all other sounds by drowning them out. However, since it is so high, man cannot hear it, and since I tweaked it a little, it will have absolutely no effect on anyone in any way what-so-ever."
"All you have to rely on now is regernation and beast mimickery... And that won't be enough."
Tatsu listened in on Vain's voice, angered by the guy's ability to take control of situations. He's five steps ahead! That's not fair!

Taqune chuckled,and let out a rumble of a roar.It could only befelt not heard it was on the oppisite side of the spectrum and would over load his device and prehaps give him a headache.On the other hand it would leave him open for attack while he did this.Taqune didn't care though his mind was set on winning this fight at all cost.

Vain sighed. "It's a shame that it was unstable. And I was quite proud of my damener, too. It's also a shame that I was quite able to move in and out of the Realm of X, so that your sound waves could not touch me. Better luck to the next time you try an attack that is too slow... And I guess it's time to stop playing. I'm going to defeat you in a single instant. Observe the power of Kasaru and the Realm of X." Vain passed in and out of existence thousands of times in a single moment, giving minors cuts and gashes to Taqune. His voice came back, still as though it was on a PA system as he said, " Through the enhanced speed of a dark god and the ability to pass into alternate dimensions whenever I please, you'll find wounds inflicted by me and be quite instant. Sure, you'll heal those wounds with your regeneration, but you should know even better than I that the cells of a human body can only split so many times for regeneration. If I kept this up, you wouldn't be able to come back from it."

Taqune laughed,his voice evil,"Human who said I was human.I am centeries old a beast of the forrest you can't kill me with your petty tricks."Taqune's body was healing itself as quickly as Vain had made the cuts.He smiled and flicked his paws two and half inch claws coming from them,"Sharper than steal and twice as stong.If one breaks it grows back."Taqune began to spin his body arround in a circle the claws making a bladed barriar that would cut any flesh trying to get through and most steal.

Vain reappeared inside the range of the spinning, blocking Taqune's arm and stopping the spin. "I'm not sure if I made myself clear about the Realm of X. I might as well be teleporting." Vain brought his fist into Taqune's gut, moving in and out of X to hit him around twenty times in the same punch. Vain disappeared and reappeared again and again. "Please try to keep in mind that I could kill you at any moment. I could kill anyone at any moment, and It wouldn't be difficult at all."
Vain reappeared atop the tree, holding a small orb in his hand. "This is what I like to call the 'Ludicrous Orb'. It is a one time use only bomb that can take out an area of ten miles in diameter. It uses molecular desconstruction to create anomolies that react with one another, each reaction creating an increase in temperature so high that it can melt any form of matter. The enter Ria High School would go straight to Hell."

Taqune wasn't phazed by the punches he just took them.The nuke however made him helpless.Taqune sighed heavily his mind reverting back to his normal self."Thats cheap Vain!" Taqune turned back into his Neko form his shirt was tatered and his hair dripping with sweat."You win Vain I'm not going to endanger the school or my friends..."Taqune sat on the ground crossing his legs and closed his eyes,it hands were at his knees.Vain had pulled a cheap trick and he had no other choice but to submit.

She stomped into the courtyard shoveing her gun back in it's holder. "Uhh!" She screamed in frustration. What the crap was going on? Why did that guy keep calling her demon?? She sat down under a tree and crossed her arms, her brows tight.

Vain smiled, dismissing the mini-nuke back into Deviate. "That is why you are weak. Sentimental attachments only lead to pain, pain that can be manipulated by your enemies. I guess I'll have to challange you another time, maybe when all those you care for are already gone? Maybe then I would be forced to open up more of the Kasaru Brand. Until then, I'll see you around..." Vain vanished losing himself into the Realm of X.

Taqune sighed,his hair a mess and his body tired from the strain of keeping up his speed for so long."He's right..."Walking over to the fountain he plunged his head under the water.Keeping it under for a while then slung his head back his hair falling behind his head the strands hanging in his face.He didn't have human ears to hold them back.Sitting on the fountains edge he thought about the battle.His mind focused on it to notice anyone approaching him.

Fera picked up her head from her hands and looked around the courtyard holding her hair back. She noticed a man sticking his head in the fountain, that sounded really good right about now. So she got up and walked over to the fountain where she sat on the edge and placed her head under the cold water. It soothed her and made the darkness go a way for a moment. In that moment she was fine.

Liz watched silently as Lily and Darius kissed. And continued to watch as they fell into the fountain, surfaced laughing, and while Darius kissed Lily on the cheek again. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of jelousy, considering Liz had been here longer and she still didn't have a boyfriend. She shrugged it off, picked up her dagger and quietly exited the courtyard.

Kris sat cross-legged on a nearby bench with his eyes closed, trying to calm himself down. Saying that he had had a long weekend would be an understatement, and he was irritated to say the least.
And then he had recieved the news about Syca. But none of that mattered now. He was at school, and that, at least, should have been some consolation.

Fera pulled her head out of the fountain and wipped her head around making water fly everywere and sokeing her outfit. It didn't really matter though. She pushed her hair out of her face and let out a sigh. Now that felt good. She pushed the water off her face and pulled her wet hair up with a hair tie she had around her wrist.

Taqune looked at the girl next to him who just did what he did."Feel better"Taqune's hair was covering parts of his face his tail was waving behind him.Looking calmly over at the girl,"Name's Taqune miss...Haven't been here to long but long enough."Taqune didn't move his body just his head."Hope your finding it enjoyable."
