Your statement offers some serious metaphysical ramifications. How can a fire possibly light you, without you initially lighting the fire?
Let us first consider the fire, it needs you to sustain it, it needs to be released from something with a lot of stored up energy, perhaps a dried weed. The fire is the representation of the energy being released, the weeds desire to be something more, to change its form.
Without you causing the change in the weed, how can the fire exist to light you, must you not light the fire first? How does a fire light you, you are made mostly of water, which is the natural enemy of fire, how can it possibly light you, but then, how can a being of water create fire?
