Sonic and I were born in the same month. I've liked him since before I can even remember anything. We're like brothers.
Edit: XD, it's funny how much I loved him when I was little. There's this picture of me hugging a guy dressed as him in an album; the guys in the Mario and Ninja Turtles costumes standing to the side, feeling rejected. Although, I may have hugged Rafael, I really couldn't care less about Mario back then.

I was a fox fan from Melee. Give me mah Diddy Kong now! I can't get videos while I'm on dial-up right now. Can somebody give me some details on speed and some attacks? (I saw the main specials on Smashbros.com)

You could just wait until after they land then, or throw it at them in the air since they won't be able to do anything but move slightly. I guess it's easier to dodge than to hit, but there is still an edge to be gained by acquiring range with a character that didn't already have it. Also: Itakio Wouldn't teams and items make it really laggy? Unless you meant teams with singles still...

He was in the same year as me, but I never knew the month... But yea, I can see the edge. That's what makes it exciting. Ganondorf vs. Fox with no items is pretty painfully boring to watch.

Called him already! blaugh but so far, he has aboutthe same speed and strength as Pikachu, his recovery is pretty good, and his movement makes him pretty unpredictable. But other than that I didn't see any other specials.

Daisuke Diru I really think they should have Mega man in the game. people like you are really annoying... first EVERYONE (including me) WANTED SONIC IN BRAWL and now that we have him, everyone wants freakin MEGA MAN or BOMBERMAN!! It's annoying! Plus i highly doubt Megaman would make it anyways....

You probably are a bigger fan, though. I'm one of the many that lost faith in him after the Dreamcast for a while. =( But this just gets my hopes waaaay back up. He's so awesome again in this game.

Since 2 for me.  @ Itakio: There are many ways to attack, but only one way to throw an item. an air dodge and pressing A can completely counter a thrown item. [edit] @ Allwing: But that's much to easy and doesn't involve a senseless argument. xd Yes, then we will be bored out of our minds. But, I've loved Sonic before that, I can only remember getting my first stuffed Sonic when I was little. @Anyone: Damn. I was born 4 years later crying (1995)

Leave it to Nintendo to give a dying franchise a kick in the a**. xd @ Wizard: I remember playing Sonic for the first time on my friend's SEGA. I couldn't get enough of it. We didn't have much money at the time, so I didn't have any games of my own. For my birthday, my mom traded a diamond ring for my first SEGA and a copy of Sonic 1 & 2 at a pawn shop. crying I've been hooked every since.
