Yuuki looked over at Alex when she heard him. The tall girl walked over to him. "Yeah, but the Black Moon isn't here this year. Instead, we're going to take these boats to an off-shore resort," she said to him.

"cool." alex stopped a few feet short of the edge of the group and got of the skateboard, putting it over his shoulder. "hi, my name is alex." he held his hand out for a handshake.

he smiled back at her "so when are we leaving for the resort?" he adjusted his backpack, which coincidentally jostled the pistol he had in there and the but of it came out the partially open zipper. seeing as it was behind him, he didnt notice it.

"The captain said soon," Yuuki said. She then noticed the but of the pistol poking out slightly. "You might want to zip up your backpack," she said to him quietly.

alex turned his head slightly and saw the partial pistol butt sticking out. "crap." he took his arm out of one of the looks and poked the pistol back in and zipped the backpack shut. "thanks. man i gotta pay more attention sometimes."

"No problem," Yuuki said. She had her own pistol with her, so she didn't bother to ask Alex why he had his. "So what brought you here anyways?" she asked him.

"my girlfriend game me her invitation because she wanted me to have some fun. what about you?" alex spoke directly to her but when he was done talking he started looking at the fancy boats form where he stood.

"well i think thats a good reason, though i heard some creepy rumors about this cruise. like how there were times when no one ever came back from it." alex smiled while talking and had shifted hsi focus from the boats to yuuki.
