It's quite simple really. Make a thread in the Charity/Quest subforum (although sticking the title to 'don't post' is usually a good idea), and then reserve the first, say...five posts. It doesn't matter, but I had about five or six in mine. Tis best to use several posts, to avoid the ole 'wall o text'.
First post: Introduction (what you're questing for, why, etc)
Second post: Progess (Tektek questbar ftw)
Third post: Donators
Fourth post: Bumpers
Fifth post: Little bit about yourself
Obviously it ain't set in stone, but if you're questing something, and could use a little help, people tend to be drawn to the well thought out posts, where it's clear the OP has put a lot of care into it - both in content and presentation - and are more likely to bump and/or donate.
I'd like you to my mule's but I deleted the introduction (which I personally found the most difficult most to make) so I don't know if it'd be a while lot of help xd

Intro, progress, donators, bumpers, and info about me...got it so far.
5-6 posts should be mine...got it.
don't post in title while setting up....got it.
make presentation and contents friendly and put alot of care....got it to a degree.

Different coloured font styles, a little icon or something in the header, or at the bottom of every post. Have a looksie at some of the other quest threads in the forum if you get stuck

Photobucket, or imageshack, tinypic...
They're all sites that'll easily allow you to upload pictures and GIFs onto the internet and then you can stick the URL of the picture in between  and it'll show the picture for you =D
Photobucket you *have* to register with, to use, but it's pretty good, because you can easly keep tabs on all your pictures online (until you fill it full of clutter...like I do sweatdrop ) but tinypic and imageshack you can use without registering. There is the option, but it's not compulsory

Start a trade with them (Hover your mouse over 'market' at the top and select 'trade' from the drop down menu). Then add however much gold you want to, and/or whatever items you wish to donate, input your password for security, and Bob's your uncle!
Also, when the other person accepts the trade (you both have to accept twice - to make it more difficult for people to steal your s**t, I guess), you'll get a little notification of it at the top of your screen, next to your avatar.
Or you can gift somebody an item (go into your inventory, click the item and choose 'give as a gift'), but you can't gift somebody gold, only items. Gold always has to be traded
