Dark_Sasuke_22 Tatsuman Dark_Sasuke_22 Actually, I play best with no items at all, because where there are items, there are exploding capsules. And level 9's like to pick those up very often. neutral Learn to power-shield. Plus the chance of a capsule exploding is only 12.5%
I know how to power shield. And I've fully gotten used to it. neutral Exploding or not, they tend to appear in the wrong spot... I've had several appear in front of in-flight arrows... Good. It really helps. I must have better luck then most. I've only once had a bob-omb appear mid -attack and kill me.

Waynebrizzle Yay big levels. I love how this game's stages are always so hectic. People that want fights without items or crazy stages might as well not buy this game. I found the smash ball concept to be very interesting, I might even play with items now.

I once played with a 10 year old with items on Very High in a 3 stock match. I actually lost because almost every time I went in to hit him I was bombarded with an exploding box, capsule, or a Bob-omb. They seriously just kept appearing in the way and I kept exploding. Then I finally grab him and an exploding crate slides off of a tilted platform above me and sends me hurtling to my doom! gonk
Anyway, if you just want something quick and absolutely insane try this: Stock 20, Super Sudden Death, any number of players, items on very high. Put in Pokeballs, Warp Stars, Mines, Bob-ombs, that spinning bumper, Red Shells, Party Balls, Bunny Hoods, Metal Boxes, and Barrel Canons. Then pick a moving level, such as Pokefloats or Big Blue. Watch the chaos ensue! twisted

Big stages are most appealing to me. And changing stages. And 'Final Destination' This newbig stage looks like it's going to be a blast to play on. I can hardly wait, even though they allow time for people with charge weapons.. that's overlookable.

New Pork City? Say what? o.O
Well, it probably seems weird to me as I've never played Mother 3, but still...
I like big stages too, but the lower part of Hyrule Temple in SSBM was a pain in the a**. The only way to kill someone it seemed was to knock them off to the left. Anything else would just make your opponent bounce off the walls. gonk

At first I was ticked about the new release date, but after I cooled down, I realized it's just to make the game better! ^^ I can't wait!! All the new levels and characters and the co-op...GAH! This game is going to rule! x3

Tatsuman Itakio I like this stage. Off topic: Are we gonna have a tournament when the game comes out? Who doesn't?
I guarantee it. I hope it will be anything goes... It's hard for me to play right without L-canceling after doing it for so long. Some combos don't work anymore.

Eh. Anything goes would be alright, as long as items are on.

I'm not exactly a "master" myself, but I've been doing/trying it for a few months.

I guess it can be hard to check with some characters...
@Wizard - Well, you can have more than one person using a single character.
