*Mystina nodded a little and giggled* It was a little at first... And, I'm not quite sure... Time runs differently in Faerie. I'd say a few weeks at most, in Human time.
Though I've spent some more time, a LOT more time, with Tac, in his realm. Though it seemed like a long time it appears I've still been coming regularly... If you can call it regular.

It's..... just the natural course of things, I'm afraid. Life lives, dies, is reborn. Species fade away with the ages, dynasties and eras rise and fall. Some day.... Perhaps even Angels will fall and Heaven and Hell will give way.

...and is it because Mother has made it so we only intervene with the humans if nessesary? *She frowns...saddened at the thought of the beautiful land of faerie gone... lost.*

You think about it too much. Every race has its time. That's natural. Just as its natural for every race to end. In that thought... To interfere with the natural selection and artificially prolong the existance of a given race..... All that does is hurt another race that should have taken over. Messing in the designs of God and Nature. These are foolhardy things to attempt, and they can only lead to pain and suffering. That is what I have always known, what I know to be true.......

Perhaps it is better instead to enjoy the today that has been given to you, rather than to worry about a tomorrow that may never come?

*Mystina smile a little and tilts her head* You see.. the thing is... One day I shall be Queen there... I will have to rule. I must think about it...about the implications.
Will another race take over Faerie? An ideal world... No disease, no evil...
Maybe then before we fade into the mists forever, when I become Queen I should let us contact the humans again freely. Instead of my Mother's rule of intervene only when requested... That way we won't wind up just a myth... And our knowledge shall be preserved...

Mmmmmm... But perhaps fate herself deigns that you have this knowledge. In that case, the actions that you take BASED off of that knowledge may end up being what causes the eventual downfall of the race. Perhaps its the inaction that does. You see.... There is no certainty. Maybe its best to simply do as you feel is right, despite what facts say. Perhaps its better to be true to yourself than to worry about the basis of what knowledge you have and the affects that your actions may cause.

I haven't had any people in such a long time, its difficult at times to remember what its like to HAVE a people. But I.... We... Do not age. Even a mortal immortal will not age, it seems. And as for your home.... Its beautiful. I would love to visit again, but I'm afraid that it simply isn't possible.
