Funny story. Went other to a friend's house bringing some cheese bread and coke. Turns out he had a shitty day at work, so I was like unto a god to him for that. I turn to talk to his wife, and he suddenly lunges at me. I only see this out of the corner of my eye and my brain goes, "Attack!"
So I swing hard with my elbow, swiping him across the throat. Luckly, I didn't hurt his wind pipe too bad, but we were scared for minute while he was coughing.
Moral of the story: Sneaking up on a Xander is bad. Hugs are fine, so long as you keep your hands where I can see them and I know what you're going to do.
