He would tap that roll, letting a long cylindrical chunk of ash fall to the ground before shattering. "I know what she is, and we will all wait to see the outcome. I hope to have more fun, of course it will not be good old fashioned brawling, which I dearly miss, it'll be that.. Magical ho-ha I have to toss around. I do not enjoy that much at all though." He would watch Katherine a moment before continuing. "The souls of your horses are living a good life now, at least, they served the Queen, the Queen is ordained by the Gods. Which means they are now serving the Gods."

"Haven't I paied enough?" Her eyes looked to Paradox for a moment and then looked to Jack finshing what she was saying. "I am done with these dances, it is the same as last time its not going to stop it never does. They will find ways to crawl in all of our holes until i am as i was before. Tired and broken doing anything i can to end it all and take everyone down with me." She swallowed some looking back to Paradox. "You think i am some kind of reason but let me tell you the truth Paradox i am nothing more than someone wore down to a thread." She shook her head some looking back inside. "What good will they do when in all my power i can not finish anything."

He nodded and said, "You should get some rest, let's head back." Ayato led her back to the tavern.

Paradox just looked out as far as he could see from the balcony. "She doesn't forget who she wins against, nor who she loses to. Best not to play games with the girl." Paradox leaned against the railing, letting all of his wieght bare down on it. "Well. . ." He shrugged, still staring into the distance. "With power comes responsibility. It's a fate we're all doomed to." Paradox chuckled dryly. "I don't like fate, myself. That's why i'm here."

Paradox smiled at the number, actually smiled. "I've counted everybody I've remember slaughtering, everybody I've buried to a grave. 721,012. An average of three every single day of my entire life. 43 is a blessing in comparison." Paradox said with a sad chuckle. He hated every life lost, every life he kept from going home to their families. Generations dead because of him. "Have faith katherine. Please, have faith." Paradox told her, still looking off into the distance. He hadn't turned his head once.

Paradox only looked back after the door was tightly shut. He sighed to himself . His shoulders slumped. "Sometimes we have to be hard, but I still don't like it." He turned to Set, looking like he was pleading, but any hint of that quickly dissapeared. "She has to get over this, or she won't be able to fight what comes next. Whoever this Gron is, he knows how to hurt people to the core. Making Katherine hurt other people. . ." Paradox shook his head.

Matachi would enter a few moments later "The men and woman that died Set, did their job." Matachi said with a cold voice staring him down "Don't you ever shun what they did do you hear me set?" He said with a cold slap of his mouth "Don't you ever mock the dead or anyone of this castle Set for what they do, every life here is important." He said sharply "Don't even reply."

Paradox didn't look back at Matachi or Set. he just watched from the balcony, watchint the stars. "I keep count because every one I kill is another nail on my coffin. Everyday, somebody has to die, and I hate to see their blood on my blade." he sighed as his eyes passed over a cemetary. Some of the people there he had buried himself. "She will get over it, eventually. time heals all wounds, but Time isn't a luxury we have." He shook his head and pulled hmself off of the railing. It didn't show a dent from the Giant's weight, but it shouldn't have. He looked back at Matachi and Set now. "I fear that my time is growing short. Please take care of her while I'm gone." He told them gravely before stepping off the balcony and plummeting to the ground.
