I couldn't help but sigh raggedly. "We should have been watching her more closely, or at least send someone who can defend themselves better to do so. Like maybe a hybrid or something. I..."
I sat down beside Krystal and sighed again. I wanted to go after her myself, but I wasn't sure I was in good enough condition to go chasing after someone that powerful, let alone if my pokemon and I were strong enough to go after someone like that.

Krystal offered some of her snack to Terashi, munching in silence for a minute before smiling softly, taking his hand in hers.
"You ... wanna go after her? We could go together. Besides, there's always safety in numbers." She said with a confident smile. She may only have Liz but that didn't mean they weren't a good team. "Or maybe I can make us some tea and we could just sit around and do nothing." That was also an option. Either things the girl was fine with.

"No, I mean, when were you created, how long ago?" Sub asked Maia, he wasn't going to go along with the charade anymore, there was a Donphan in the room and it had to be addressed. "Hm, oh hey there Terashi I- what Krystal just said to answer your question." Said Sub.

"Safety in numbers," I half-mumbled, giving it thought. "Maybe we should go show her how it feels to be overwhelmed."
I wasn't sure how much help I could be, but I couldn't just sit there and do nothing. I took Krystal's hand in mine and called GRAY for some teleportation.

Maia stammered. Her face changing expressions like she was some kind of malfunctioning robot. Eventually she got the hint that the jig was up. She'd been betrayed! "Well..." Maia started counting on her fingers. "I'd say about... four? five months? Technically I'm not even a year old." She muttered, trying to keep her voice down to avoid being heard by the others. The whole subject was like having 'The Talk' with a gym coach. "It's not that much of a big deal..."

If Maia looked behind her, she'd see the Ho-oh hybrid standing there. How he got there was a heck of a debate. "It tells a few things, for one. For another, someone such as you is hardly a laughing matter. Not that I've a problem or anything, as more than a few here can attest."

Maia nearly jumped straight out of her clothes and through the ceiling. Although it would have been comical to see her go sailing through the roof, leaving behind a set of clothes, which would stand on their own for a few seconds. But, alas, all that managed to escape her was a loud squeal. Maia spun around to find Birdman. er.. Who was this guy?! Her eyes flashed grey briefly as she quickly dipped into Chirp's memory. Heck, Chirp didn't know who he was. Well, she knew of him. Just not his name or anything like that. Maia cleared her throat.
"Someone such as me? What's that supposed to mean? You callin me a freak, Birdie?" She growled, balling up her fists and brandishing them at Sol. She didn't like the idea of her secret spreading like wildfire due to NinjaSol! Plus it provided a chance to change the subject!

"But for you to say you're less than a year old, I'd presume you're a clone or experiment, correct?"

She might as well as wear a 'I don't have a belly button' button or something. "Yeah. I'm a dupie of Chirp. I call myself Maia. But both of what you said is true. I'm a clone from an experiment. So what are you? I'm guessing you were in a teleporter, and a pokemon got in the other one? And Sub is actually a robot?! and the entire team is actually a ragtag team of misfit alien robot clone armies?!"

Electra was surprised to see Eevee retreat and Pikachu hugging her all of a sudden, not that she didn't mind. And that's when she noticed their reflection in a puddle. "Pi Pika?! Pikachu?!" she shouted observing her new body. Their were slight diffrences between her and Pikachu such as a 'v' dented tail and slightly longer ears. "Well I definitely didn't see that coming. Say Freya, do you have any flying type pokemon?" Dan asked. Honestly he couldn't remember if she did or not.
Alex entered the lobby, package in hand with Z floating behind her. "Since Rain soaked and destroyed my last one, I finally had an excuse to purchase a new one. Good thing you copied the data from my last laptop" she spoke to the Porygon that was trailing behind her. The virtual pokemon entered the laptop and began downloading the files and data from the old laptop. The girl sat criss cross on the couch, staring at the computer on her lap, waiting for Z to finish.

Freya blinked a bit, a hand unconsciously coming to pet Eevee. "Nope, not a single flying type owned currently." She answered honestly though the girl was working on it. Eventually she'd have one. She watched the two Pikachus and smiled, they were pretty cute together.

Well that would be a problem. "Oh, well then I guess that rules out an air battle." The only other pokemon he had on hand were Talon and Bagon, the latter not much of a listener. "Well...let's go find Alex and see if she'd like to come with us" he suggested, returning Bucky and Rain. Electra was swooning over Pikachu so he decided to let her stay out. It didn't seem wise to interrupt them.
"Ha! It worked! Z! Z! Pokemon of the year" Alex shouted, slipping her goggles over her eyes. The girl would begin typing swiftly on the keyboard as a diagram of the goggles appeared on screen. A couple drag and clicks before the goggles began to display what was on the monitor. "Display, display. Back to full funtioning capabilities" she grinned.

Trigramatic Tails shook his head eagerly. "Yeah. It's been a long while, and I kinda need something spicy. So can you?" As often he did, he played into his height and bright eyes, giving him That Look. "Pleeeaaase?" Typhlosion made a big grin then picked Tails up off the ground with a big Typhlosion hug. "Ty-pho-sioooon!" That would be a yes out of this fire type. He then put Tails down on the counter then started to find his way around the kitchen. Chili was to be made. "Oh boy...here we go..."

Sub himself's a human, and the only other clone here is Amaranth. She being one of me, due to some stuff Ein did before his death... in any case, there's none of us here with robotic origins." Sol explained. "As for the team itself, ragtag might be an appropriate term, but I wouldn't call us an army in any sense of the word. If anything, we're a group of individuals willing to take others in should they wish to join us, each of us coming from as many walks from life as there are grains of sand. Morals are a plaything at best to us, something best left to the individual and never fully falling into black or white. You could say our collective intentions balance out into the gray area that lies between." A part of him had a feeling that his speech might've come off as some kind of sales pitch. But it really was one of the easiest ways to explain the team.
