@Red: sorry I'm late, but here's the simplified, I-know-you-guys-aren't-the-retards-that-need-to-be-told-to-buy-the-toaster-first recipe:
1-Use a cast iron frying pan, MUST BE DONE 2-add just enough of some kind of oil to cover the bottom of it, but the works on a fire with a few test kernels in it 3-When test kernels pop, throw in a handful and cover pan (tinfoil 'roof' works well) 4-let sit until first pop is heard, shake vigorously for ~30sec, remove from fire and continue shaking 5-put into bowl, season with salt or stuff, and enjoy
It's actually quite good, a bit on the crisper side (think burnt popcorn's texture, it has a very slight bit of that)

@purple: They came to my hometown this past May for a convention, but I didn't get to go to any of the panels... =/

Popcorn, money, Gaian panels at conventions, I've missed a bit.
Oh wells. I've been surviving college again. Something about this week is just off. Not 100% for some reason. Still, I press on.

Hahaha... Speaking of leaves... They're falling off! D: Oh noes! It's finally cooled down here and the leaves are turning a sad shade of yellow/brown and falling away... they've skipped the nice colorful part, and I for one feel jipped.

I really like it when it's this temperature... cool enough for a light jacket, yet still warm enough to be comfortable.
The fact that it reminds me of my Marching Band days probably helps too.

It's always summer here. Country's near the equator, that's why.
This morning, my mom screamed at me for tearing down her cross from the main door . Bloody christian. You have plenty of christian s**t around the house why can't you leave the front door empty so an Atheist can come home without being angry...

Goodness. Why would the cross make you mad? o_O Do you get mad when you see other signs of faith?

I just find religion to be a weakness. There's no proof some invisible old man in the sky exists, so I find it really stupid how people ask this 'almighty ethereal being' for guidance when they probably'll never get a reply. When you're in trouble, you don't ask for help, beg for guidance or get down on your knees and pray. You do something about it. You're the god of your own world so just do something. That's what fuels my Atheism/Autotheism at least. And even if there is one, why do they enjoy worshipping the sight of their saviour NAILED TO PLANKS OF WOOD. He's suffering and they're all 'Praise the Lord ******** guess other signs of faith don't piss me off as much. Seeing how the most annoying religion is Christianity... I mean, do other religions go up to you and persuade you to join their belief every time you turn a corner? Bloody hell. mad This points out a lot lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZsYEGmhEbc

I guess it just depends on where you live. o_o; Around here there are missionary Jehovah's witnesses who go around in the summer on their bikes trying to convert people. XD
