Sakura smiled as she saw the food. Just as she picked up her fork she got a bad jibe from someone in the room. She looked around for a moment before her eyes came across Ichigo, getting the feeling she didn't like her. She then quickly jumped out of her chair and stepped over to Shadow's chair, taking his hand a scared look on her face.

Ichigo sat in a chair and ordered another glass of blood. She saw sakura jump. "Don't worry,I don't hurt children." She said looking at Sakura.

Shadow lifted Sakura up onto his lap and covered her ears before Icigo could place the order. He kept his hands over Sakuras ears. "Ichigo. keep quiet with the strange orders would you. Wisper it to the servants or something." he said in a fairly quiet voice.

"She dose not know yet. She is far to young to know." he said with his hand still on Sakuras ears. He couldn't let her hear any of this. "Let us leave it at that ok and say no more." he added as he removed his hands from Sakuras ears.

Ichigo nodded again. "Then what is she doing in a house like this."She thought. Ichigo then bent over and whispered something into Dante's ear. Dante stood up and happily trotted over to Sakura and licked her hand. Ichigo hoped he would make the child feel a little better.

Sakura looked up at him then over at Ichigo before looking back up at him. "What you say?...." she asked softly, her head tilted slightly. She then looked down at what licked her hand. She quickly pulled away, leaning against Shadow. "What is that?...." she asked softly.

"Nothing important Sakura. You are in no danger here. See he likes you." he said in a soft calm tone. He didn't want the little girl to get scared so he tried to comfort her in what ways he could.

Shadow left Sakura to eat her food. he called one of the servant to watch her and take her up to his room when she was tired. He walked out the back door and started to walk around the gardens to try and clear his mind for a while. he found himself thinking alot about Sakura. It felt good to have a little kid around again but this only made him miss his daughter and wonder how they were doing. He let out a heavy sigh and walked around, eventualy ending up at the pool where he sat down in one of the chair and lit a cig.
