Sticking with tradition my boyfriend's mother gave me the second book in a series I've never read before >.<
Other than that, my boyfriend bought me a 'Twas The Night hatbox full of LUSH Cosmetics and a Transformers Prime Arcee toy.
(In return he got a Starscream figure and a copy of Sleeping Dogs)

I have a bajillion gift cards, at least. I even got two from work for selling a bajillion giftcards for a regional contest.
I also scored more candy than Halloween since my Room Mate went nuts at a Dollar Store. My stocking was nearly ripping at the seams with 03420492 kinds of candy, bubbles, glow sticks, and a strange ball thing.
Lobster hates Christmas. He got me for Pre-Christmas, anyway. Then we broke up three weeks later. So that's his birthday present.
Mostly got jeans and a few tops from mom. Dad gave me 200 bucks, their friends gave me 40 bucks, and then I fixed someone's computer New Years Eve and scored an extra 20 bucks for the most simple adware removal ever. I had to keep telling the man he did not have Windows 98, he had Windows XP.
I dunno. Post-Christmas was nice, considering.
Edit: Scored the live action Ruroni Kenshin movie. It's definitely badass so far. o;

BESTSAMURAIXKENSHINMOVIEEVAARR. Ooh the sword-play was orgasmic. The way they introduced the characters through merging plots was brilliant for anyone who has never seen or heard of them before. I actually got goosebumps from watching Kenshin face off against Jinei after he kidnapped Kaoru. @__@ Was not disappointed at all.

o.o My sister and her boyfriend broke up not even a week before Christmas. Someone at work also broke up before New Years. Talk about changin' for the New Year. o.O
Also, I dunno about anyone else, but that new Lara Croft game is actually catchin' my attention like crazy. First one since the original PS1 version(Which I eventually hated, anyway.) I originally thought they were just gonna kill the genre(again), but now...
Anyone else interested in it?

^It looks real good but I can't say I'm too interested to play it. I think I'd enjoy watching someone else play it, honestly. Although what you're feeling is how I feel about the new Devil May Cry game.
Also, Phantom...is one of your characters stranded with that Scorpion Queen thing? o:

I tried to get into the Devil May Cry series, and sometimes it was pretty good, but in the end it reminded me of all the Final Fantasies after 8. Just couldn't like it in the end. Generally those are the games that if I get interested in enough I'll either read about it, or watch some playthrough(although it's really hard to find one that doesn't have some annoying dweeb talking on the other end..) - It's especially somethin' I do now since I have a lack of cash, and I don't need to play more games, anyway.
Anyway~
Yeah, Kain has been snatched away. MOOHAHA~

For anyone totally confused about what happened with Kain:
While running from Scorpion Queen(reminds me of a movie..) she snatched him up with one of her pincers, squished him(K.O.ed him) and then with the same motion of snatching him up, she threw him into the hundreds(thousands?) of weird scorpion creature things.
That was what people missed - doesn't really bother me, though. XD
Then Scorpion Queen snatched him up again while fleeing. Now he's gone.
Avery is with Negi, though.

Actually, I could use that in the end. After I'm done with what I'm gonna do, it could work pretty well if they have to fetch him. Especially since with all technicality there'd be no real way he'd know how to get out except maybe go Hulk Smash on everythin' in his way.
