Reeve smiled and tilted his head a bit. "Do you now?" He felt her kiss his forehead, then they were in another kiss. Reeve wrapped his arms around her as he kissed her deeply, pulling her to him. For the time being he cared about nothing but this moment... nothing but her.

Though she was still smiling, tears formed and quietly rolled down her cheeks, which she ignored, happy again that he would not be able to see her tears as she was merely feeling over emotional just now. "Indeed .. my heart would break, I would not forgive myself ... after finding one who is precious to me .. to be foolish enough to see you harmed .." she stopped speaking, knowing that if she continued her voice would break. Instead she took a few deep breaths, trying to calm her senses again.

Reeve listend to how she spoke, then to the breathing. Hhe realized that something might be wrong... but did not want to sadden her even further. Gently he ran his hand up and down her back as he smiled to her. "Perhaps you do know..." He chuckled a bit, once again trying to lighten the mood.

"Perhaps .." she said quietly, trying to laugh also to hide that she was on the verge of tears. Silently she wiped her face dry, still leaning on him slightly. "Most would consider my ability to survive dire situations on 'dumb luck' however I have faced a number of situations that were grim and I still exist. I honestly wish to help if you would like help. If you were to go and never come back .. I know not what I would do though I believe I would feel the same ache, the same upset as I would if I were unable to protect you."

"I have survived many... grim situations as well." He squeezed her a bit. "And I would return no matter what. Even if I were on the verge of death... or already dead, I would come back here to you. But I will not put you into danger's path by taking you with me to that god-forsaken place." He smiled slightly, nuzzling her. He obviously knew where he was going next... and it didn't seem to be a friendly place.

"If you insist. I will worry for your safety." she said softly, still caressing his cheek with one hand, holding him around his back with the other. She did not want him to leave the safety of her arms.

"You needn't worry..." Reeve said as he slowly and reluctantly began to let her go. "My mind is tellinging me that te sooner I leave, the sooner I can return... But I want to stay..." He sighed a bit. "It is so very confusing."

"Same .." she said softly, sitting up. Gently though she moved her hand to his, lacing their fingers together. Blue eyes observed their hands as she marveled at the feeling of their fingers together. "May I move us to the ground? I believe proper departure etiquette is to hug properly, one cannot do so while sitting, it feels different." she said softly, giving his hand a squeeze.

Reeve thought for a moment, then smiled a bit. "Tell me, have you ever jumped from something high, not being able to see the ground?" He squeezed her hand as he spoke. One of the greatest things Reeve had found... or at least the most frightening, was falling. Though it was a frightening feeling, it also filed him with a great sort of amusement.

"Never alone. Falling while flying with Brijitskular in the dark was most frightening. I knew I could trust her though and we always returned unharmed." she said softly, observing him as she spoke. When she finished, she squeezed his hand and placed her free hand on his arm, trying to reassure him. "I realize it is not something that may happen immediately, but you can place your trust with me, I will not let you be harmed if we jump. If you do not wish to jump, I can apparate us both to the ground."

Reeve smiled slightly and squeezed her hand gently for a moment. Then, without a single word, he let go of her and jumped off the branch. He really had no idea how high they were, but he enjoyed the thrill of falling. All of a sudden he flipped over and landed perfectly on his feet, staying crouched for a moment. "Damn that was scary..." He muttered lightly to himself.

"Reeve!" she said, worry clear in her voice. With a small pop, she appeared on the ground. When she saw him twirl, she realized that he was in full control and should be alright. Taking a step back, she watched as he landed, concern on her face. For a moment, she stood there in shock, one hand to her lips, the other wrapped around her waist. When he spoke, she knew all was well but she still worried for him. "I was not expecting that." she said softly, sounding rather like a child that had just woken from a bad dream.

"I do alot of... unexpected things." he said as he stood up straight. Reeve smiled to her as he took a step closer. "Living forever trapped in darknes becomes rather... monotonous at times." He wrapped his arms around her gently. "Jumping off of things is an interesting feeling, but I am sorry if I scared you. That was not my intent." Tilting his head a bit, he smiled to her.

"I worried of others hurting Reeve, of myself hurting Reeve but not of Reeve hurting Reeve. I would like for you to be safe. It is alright that I was scared, you are strong and I would have been at your side if you needed anything." she said softly, resting the side of her head against his chest, holding him as he held her while she spoke. Hugging him even tighter when she finished, she did not wish to let him out of her sight now.

Reeve kissed the top of her head before speaking. "Others may hurt me, but I do not think you ever will." He ran one of his hands up and down her back, trying to comfort her. "I will miss you greatly when I am gone..." He squeezed her somewhat, feeling somewhat sad that he had to leave her.
