"Splendid. In any case, I'm sure Nana and Kaiori would enjoy hearing all about your exploits, good Admiral. There'll be a drink coming for Kai shortly, be sure she gets it." KB nodded to Kai and Nana politely before patting the Admiral on the back in a friendly manner. "Ladies, enjoy the evening." KB offered before turning to head towards the door. Apparently he had to retrieve a doorman...
Upon making yet another visit with the doormen, KB would intrude a bit more casually. "Hey guys! I'm gonna have to ask you to forward that drink to Kaiori and the Admiral. Also, I think The Farmer and Emo Boy are having a fit. I suggest a level five quarantine, complete with high-temperature sterilization! Leave no cell of their infestation intact!"
KB would blink, sure that his antics were confined to the doorway and lost on the other partygoers. "I've really got too much time on my hands, don't I?" He asked apologetically.

*Kaiori sighs and crosses her arms under her chest. Her lips pout slightly and her eyes seem to laugh with a secret joke.* Ahh, all is forgiven. My body is fine, besides being a little stiff and tense. That, and a thirst I just can’t seem to get rid of. *She knew she was pushing her luck with that last joke but she couldn’t help it, her cravings were driving her senses wild, so she had little time to think about what she was saying. She wasn’t just going to attack someone tonight, of that much she was sure, but she did feel like it would be a welcomed event if someone would open an artery on the dance floor.*

Tegral nods politely at KB, no more and no less. Though in truth he was half a microsecond away from ripping the fool's hand off and using it to tickle the inside of his, very likely, disease ridden butt hole. Wretched little monster thinking to touch him, even briefly. Anyways, back to the task at hand!
Kaiori, such a delectable little treat to savor and enjoy. Maybe he'd find time to steal away from her. She was married, but that never stopped the good Admiral before, in fact it only encouraged him more. "Ah, well, you know I could have your body refitted to not need certain things. Food, drink, blood, you know, things." A grin played over his lips as he stared at her. Certain characteristics were hard to get rid of, but removing the need for food and drink was easily fixed by introducing an orginism on a cellular level that created it's own nutrients and expelled them in place of waste. Pretty much it did the exact opposite of what one's cells normally did, take in waste and pump out nutrients.
Without waiting for any response, in fact barely a second passed since he finished speaking to Kaiori, before he stated in a jovial tone to Nana. "KB wants me to kill you and your family." A jest? Not at all likely given the fact that not a year gone by the good Admiral had lain siege to her home in an attempt to kill her husband. What's another couple of mini-Mastemas in regards to the well being of a new world order?

.____.,
*The admiral, blew Kaiori's last body up? Last... body? This might explain why Nana was suddenly short, but then what was this Kaiori now? A clone? A golem? The company had suddenly gotten a little... less happy to be around. Blowing people up and all, Nana didn't want to make that kind of person angry. She was starting to remember why she usually didn't go out and leave the citadel, there were a lot of scary people outside. What's more "KB wants me to kill you and your family." ?!! The happy go getter that seemed so random and innocent wanted to take her life and the lives of her family?!! Needless to say Nana was in shock, letting her eyes slide towards KB who had gone off to fetch the doormen. Perhaps it was a good time to change conversation groups*

*Kaiori sighs turning away from the pair. Teg’s offer was awfully tempting but it would wreck everything she was fighting for. She loved the hunger and loved the hunt and kill even more. It’s what made her a fighter, made her inhumane and less like the weakling she had been. Grumbling slightly she glances over to her children. She overhead Teg, threatening Nana, but honestly it was nothing new. Her kids looked slightly at ends with each other, Bell seemed unhappy with the socializing she wasn’t allowed to do and Griffin looked…well like he always did.*

"To the Admiral? All right. Hmm? Emo-- Farmer?" Bertuccio would blink in confusion at the terms. KB should be a little clearer on whom he was speaking about. None the less Baptistain would be dispatched while Bertuccio continiued to stay put for new arrivals. It wasn't too long until Baptistain was back in the main party room, he'd look about for the trouble. Bertuccio would comment to KB before going back to his work. "I couldn't say."

"The blind kid and the whacko? KB asked, hoping it might clarify some. He wasn't really going to point fingers at either of them, but they both seemed to have trouble with each other. In the meantime KB simply decided to hang out with the doorman, waiting on the suprise that was their host.

While waiting for the doormen to be retrieved and to arrive, the former act being the one for which Than was grateful to KB, Thanatos had taken to humming a slightly upbeat and rather energetic tune, which may or may not have annoyed the misguidedly resolute Ka'rinth. Soon enough he realized that one of the doormen had arrived and raised his left arm, waving it lightly. "Over here, good sir. My friend here is insisting on creating some kind of electromagnetic interference. He seems unwilling to halt, despite two attempts to stop him. I'd be willing to ask him again though, but if it comes to escorting him out, I'd be careful, since his body may very well be the source of the interference instead of his magic. I'd be happy to assist if you like." Thanatos nodded when he believed he'd covered the essentials, not seeming the least bit hostile to Baptistian. After that, he'd turn about to Ka'rinth. "As I said, I'm still willing to let you remain if you control this hindrance, kyaku-san," Than chuckled. "You've really got nothing to lose by being allowed to stay."
While all that business was being sorted out, Mastema was still by the table, trying out some potatoe salad, when he was, from his point of view, assaulted when an arm wrapped around his shoulder and partially turned him around.
"Well if it isn't Mastema in the flesh...ish. How would you be doing tonight?" Twi nearly beamed a smile at the man.
"I 'would' be focused on enjoying my potatoe salad," Mastema raised a brow, "but for the moment I am merely perplexed. I suppose I was expecting more grudge in your voice."
"Grudge? Hardly. We're all friends here aren't we?" Twi cast a thumbs up at Mastema. This was going to be an odd interaction.

Bertuccio didn't really mind KB's company, and kept an eye open for others who might yet arrive. At some point the doors would be manned by someone else letting Bertuccio and Baptistain also enjoy the festivities. The guests would be bombarded with the smells of food and drink, rich in every way shape and form. Soon enough one of the waiters would make their way to Admiral Tegral, with a glass of what appeared to be a ceaser, complete with salted rim and celery stalk. "Sir, this was forwarded to you by a Mr. KB" This was of course the drink KB had ordered for Kaiori a few minutes ago. Hopefully it would be to the lady's liking, and there was certainly more if she wished it, now that the staff knew there were a few special orders, likely to be made.
"Electro--magnetics was it?" Baptistain knew well what electromagnetic interference was, dispite looking like some half wit street fighter from the Bronx. There was no need for Ka'rinth to make his energy field. Who was going to scan him or try to reccord him here? It was a party after all, and needless to say it wasn't about him. Thanatos did have one major point up on Ka'rinth, there was nothing to lose by being able to stay. Good food, good drink, pleasant music and decore. The temple actually seemed like a nice place to stay. Baptistain would eye the two and waited for Ka'rinth's response. He was told to deactivate anything he mave have had on him while on the premises, which should have extended to his personal device scrambling ability. When such an ability starts to take a tole on other guests, not just equipment then it should be dealt with quickly. Hopefully Ka'rinth would understand no one was going to take his picture, scan his body, and do anything else to him other than socialize, and that was if he allowed that bit of pleasure upon himself.

Ka'rinth ignored Than's slighs and at his words laughed at him before saying coldly, As I have said to you, it is a part of my person, it extends exactly two feet from my flesh and the process of deactivating it that you suggest so calmly would involve removing my skin. He then turned his eyes to Baptistain and said, If it has expanded slightly since this individuals arrival it is due to agitation which raises my body temperature and conversely increases electrical activity at a cellular level. I have done nothing to anyone and I would ask you to speak with this person about harassing people. I was simply standing waiting to see the host when he began saying that his arm was disturbed and essentially ordering me to stop. Remove him from my immediate vicinity and as I cease feeling as though this is a hostile environment the field will recede to a few inches from my person. As he spoke Ka'rinth emphasized certain syllables with a slight hiss. Than was becoming an annoyance and he was beginning to reach the point where he would prefer a flat out brawl over seeing the mysterious host. His tail itched to swing around and run the seemingly soft fur around Than's neck and strangle him. His tail lashed from side to side like most animals reflecting annoyance briefly before it curled around his torso twice before he shifted his position and stared at the two in a suddenly emotionless manner. His attention was mainly on Baptistain and showed that he was willing to listen to the man though not to Than who had thus far shown himself in Ka'rinth's eyes to simply be the arrogant and spoiled child of someone of status. Of course that was just the type of entity that Ka'rinth enjoyed torturing and subjecting to acid burns though this was not the forum for such acts.

"If I may interject, I'd have to infer from experience that he's not telling the whole truth," Than carried on from Ka'rinth's words to Baptistian, seeming to care little about the man's agitation. "I was able to feel the effect of that field a lot further from him than two feet. However, while speaking with whoever he was near before me, the field was non-existent from what I could tell. There's also the fact that he said straight to me that the host of the party is free to ask him to remove it, and I doubt he'd make such an offer if he had no power to follow through with it. Perhaps he doesn't have total control of its intensity, " Than turned back to stare at Ka'rinth's back, "but he almost certainly has control over whether it's present or inactive." There were at least two instances Than observed when Ka'rinth had contained the field, and Than doubted they were just random occurences. This man had a lot more control than he was willing to admit, so Than had to surmise that Ka'rinth was either incompetent or, more likely, he was lying about his level of control so that he would be allowed to remain and make no modification to his current state. "To be perfectly fair," Than continued after a pause, "the person he was speaking with a few moments ago may have had the ability to dampen his field. Since he seems 'happy' to allow me to disperse the field if I could, perhaps his last company can do it instead." Tegral had caused some kind of interference with Ka'rinth's field a while ago; perhaps that could be maintained such that the field was nearly nullified. Ka'rinth and any of the others could label Than as arrogant as they wished, but it didn't change the fact that the boy was trying his best to find the most responsible way to allow the party to continue. Not only was this field potentially dangerous, as it could cause harm to others, but it gave Ka'rinth a somewhat signficant advantage over the others in the party in that surveillance of him was inhibited while the other attendees had no such shield.

"To the young miss Kaiori Night." Tegral intoned politely to the waiter, directing him with a wave of his champagne glass in Kai's direction. Now with that out of the way he actually turned to address Nana directly. "Of course," He said, his voice artificially stimulating a sense of good will and humor that the machine didn't really feel towards the woman, "That was a long time ago and I'm no longer taking orders from him. So no worries on that. Haha, let me introduce myself." She knew who he was, even if she'd never seen him before today. KB himself had named him the Admiral who'd been pounding away at the Citadel's absurd barrier a year gone by, "My name is Tegral Kartos, Admiral of the ship currently stationed above the planet." - as few as those might be - "And you must be Mastema's wife?" An inquiry. Either Tegral's data banks were missing vital information or he was simply being polite. Though he'd never seen the woman, had no specs on her what so ever, he knew that this was the woman. Passing conversation with the figurehead had gleamed at least that much.
While she may or may not realize it scanners had begun actively probing Nana's body the moment the Admiral had turned to address her. Most of the information attempted to be pulled was pretty basic stuff, body mass index, weight, height, muscle mass to body fat ratio, pretty basic turn your head and cough sorta stuff. With the exception of a few combat grade scans, currently hyped up from the brief interaction with the electro-dude over yonder, that were actively searching for arcane, divine, spiritual, or druid sources of magic. Chi and kai, energy and mana, what ever you wanted to call it Tegral's sensors were searching not only how much power little Nana had but also the passage ways that would allow her to actively use such feats. If she were well versed and used these powers on a day to day schedule then the passage ways would be larger than if she either had no idea what she was capable of or simply refused to use it - the latter of the two the most crucial if the Admiral ever had to face the woman in single combat.
Kah, who'd been standing some distance away before hand, was growing increasingly annoyed with the pair that was in the process of ruining the party's good flow. Gathered from what the Admiral knew, the information provided on the people attending the party, and general know-how gossip around the area the people under this roof were bound to have sparks flying. Hell this room was a powder keg - almost literally with so many power houses cramped in here, and these two idiots were playing with flares! Setting her glass down on the table as she passed it Kah made a beeline straight for Than, Baptistain, and the mysterious eel gentleman. "Will you knock it off," Kah said as she drew withing obvious defining distance, Than was the target of her barely restrained anger - that incidentally wasn't even real -, "The guy hasn't even done a damn thing wrong and you come over here complaining your little relic of an arm has an itch in it? Thinking you have to 'save' everyone at the party from a guy who's only crime is activating a static defense shield?" Ok, maybe it wasn't exactly the same thing but Kah used a similar means of E.W. while she was deployed. "If anything you should be the one removed for causing trouble you arrogant little p***k! No weapons doesn't mean no shields, kid, so why don't you go back to your little corner and cut yourself or something. You're annoying me and likely the other guest as well."
Rawr, Kah was woman, hear her roar.

Ka'rinth began laughing softly as he smiled revealing teeth before saying, Ah my sweet little lamb, you seem to forget it wasn't that field that you first approached me about, you are referring to my retinue now. While undisturbed and assuming a human form which is simply difficult the field is several inches from my body and a bit less intense. As he looked at Than now his skin seemed to crawl as his tortured souls that had been hushed and pressed against his skin began moving in a wider circle around him so that they shifted effortlessly through the space near Ka'rinth crying in pain and seeking release. Ka'rinth smiles and said, My personal escort was your first complaint and they have not left, they simply were held closer. Ka'rinth turned his head to Baptistian and said, I grow tired of this brat's whining, he is someone who I would love to stab but for your weapon ban so I suggest simpler solution than she said he said. As he spoke he gestured to Than as she and himself for he before continuing. Simply put check your equipment, wards, et cetera and see if it is affected. My person would likely be distorted on electronics and clouded by my retinue on most mystical viewings but in both instances it is something confined to myself. If you are unable to use something or it has been disable then I can take a more extreme route to confine myself temporarily to an alternate form but it is temporary. I am interested in the host, not socializing with this fool that for whatever reason has a sense of entitlement to him. As such I ask that if his complaints are founded and your equipment is effected you may request my leave, if your equipment is not effected and it is limited to me as I said you request he leave for his behavior. Ka'rinth' smile was dark and as he yawned at Than nothing but blackness could be seen within him. He cracked his neck slightly ad pressed his hands together firmly in front of his stomach just over his coiled tail. Ka'rinth had a specific reason for his smile and overall attitude, he had been gone from the scene for far too long and actually didn't need to be here. For him everything was simply an improvisational act to get back in the feel of things, lies and treachery ha long been his trade in this place and that was unlikely to change now. Even should he be banned he would see what he wished after of course releasing a full charge of his field and seeing if he couldn't run Than through with his tail which even now was filled with hydro-flouric acid waiting to eat through flesh and bone.

If Kah or Ka'rinth were listening, one of them might've been able to hear a small giggle from Than. It was Ka'rinth's letting his agitation get the better of him that Than found more amusing than anything. It was a wonder how Ka'rinth would feel if he knew that he was getting so pissed off at a mere 3 year old. "Ah, so you have two fields then? Good to know but not my concern; it's the electronic related field that I'm speaking of, which most definitely did disappear. So, if your quarrel is you aren't able to sustain such a form, we have the problem pertenant to whether we can allow someone to conceal himself." Than would turn back to Baptistian. "I suppose that's the question for you: can someone who is able to conceal anything on his person be allowed to remain in the public gathering space?" Than would make no suggestions, wanting to hear what ground rules the Count had already instigated.
While waiting for a response, Than's head would turn to Kah, and his eye turned in her general direction. "I'm sorry, were you trying to say something? My attention is only on these two." Kah's irrelevant opinion wasn't something Thanatos had bothered to seriously consider, because he was listening to Ka'rinth and Baptistian, the latter having the final say in the matter. Of course, Than's words to Baptistian should have made it obvious to Kah what this really was. Thanatos couldn't have cared less about the effect this field was having on his arm, and even the party members' safety was secondary; he was doing this purely to test what the boundaries for the rules were. Ka'rinth was nothing more than his testing tool, and inquiring for the sake of the party's security was his safety net.

*Kaiori gently sips the glass from the waiter. She didn’t want to seem too over eager but the smell almost made her eyes roll back in her head. She looks around casually before turning away from the crowd to take a large gulp of the drink. She saw crimson and then her vision quickly returned. It felt wonderful and warmed her down to her toes. She slowly turned back to the crowd, composing herself by holding the scent under her nose, a constant comfort of more.*
*Bell and Griffin would silently watch the exchange of the disgruntled party members. Suddenly Griffin’s phone would ring and he’d quickly excuse himself to a small secluded corner of the room.*
