Fred mentally slapped Hermione, but was still holding Franki as close as he could. "It wouldn't be the first time she's woken up really tired. She has a bit of insomnia, y'know?"

Ginny gently touched Franki and her eyes widened with realization. "Franki you're as cold as ice," she gasped.
Remaining quiet Lisa could hear what was going on on the staircase. "Sounds like something's up with Franki," she stated with a frown.

"I think I just need some fresh air," Franki said through Fred's chest. Her voice was cracked and different. Fred stood up, taking her with him, and started heading down the stairs.

Harry got out of bed and stated, "We better check it out..."
The two exited the room and nearly ran into Franki and Fred.
"We know something's up."
"Don't try to deny it either," Lisa said as she touched Franki's hand, "but why are you as cold as someone with hypothermia?"

"Just my head," Franki mumbled. She shoved her shaking hands into her pockets. "I'm just a bit anxious, that's all. I get cold and clammy," she said. She looked at Lisa in the 'if I tell Harry what's going on, we're both screwed' way so she'd shut up.

Fred looked carefully at Franki, then Harry, and finally Lisa and nodded. Franki let out a mumble of agreement through Fred's chest.

Franki stood up straight, pulling away from Fred's chest and arms. She looked at him, a small, but fake smile played at her lips.

"Nothing really," Franki said, her fake smile still on her lips. "Heading to get something to eat. I'm starving." That was the truth. She hadn't eaten since about 5 the day before.
Fred nodded. "Yeah, I'm so hungry right now!" he agreed.
