'Those people.. They're talking about this man. Is it possible for them to be Angels or Demons?' Miu thought, still hissing in their direction. Her back was arched, and her fur was sticking up.

Haucon glanced over at the cat. That doesn't seem normal or healthy. he thought to himself. He looked back to Leila. "You amaze me." he said simply. "To have been through what you were and still be trusting of anyone takes amazing strength." he whispered. "You're either amazingly courageous or horribly naive!" he said flailing the dirk in exasperation. He caught hold of himself and looked back at the ground, sheepish at his outburst. The cat was still hissing. "I'll go investigate and if it's safe I'll whistle for you alright?" he asked, his slight accent becoming more prominent.

Liam watched as the cat started to hiss, his face becoming more concerned than sad. He followed the cat's gaze and saw the two, still talking to each other. He sighed and gripped his scythe. He wanted no harm to anyone, and if h had to he'd hurt himself before hurting innocent people. But if they were, so to speak, evil he'd fight.

Leila smiled in response, her own cheeks flushing. Naive...that was probably it. "Just...be careful..." she said, taking his hand in hers and rubbing the back of it with her thumb. She wanted to pull him in, give him a quick kiss, but what he had said earlier stopped her from doing so. He wasn't ready for that kind of thing yet....

Haucon nodded appreciatively, and seeing the look in her eyes, leaned down to kiss her cheek. "I'll be right back." he said confidently "And I'll whistle if and when it's safe." he added turning to walk out the alley.
As he walked he adjusted the grip on his dirk, but kept it held at his side, loose and nonthreatening. As he turned the corner he saw the scythe and shuddered. A lot of good a dirk would be against that! he thought to himself hoping that it wouldn't come to that.
It was clear the other young man saw him, so he waved his empty hand. "Oi!" he left it at that, deciding to work out more after he found out more.

"Well, don't go in alone, or it'll be difficult to get out. Oh, and stay out of the southern and eastern parts. They're all human areas so you can imagine what they're like," Turning to Vanessa she bowed her head to her,
"You may just see it yet you know, mother or not," she couldn't help but have a little fun with the girl every now and then. Dream smiled to himself. Violet did seem to have a knack for joking around. But she was also serious when she had to be, so he would follow her advice. "Thanks, I'll remember that." He looked at Vanessa. "I'm really not sure if you should go, though... It'll be really dangerous. For starters, imagine five hundred Vanessas who want to kill you the same time.

Leila nodded and watched as Haucon neared the man, but she would wait. She crouched down behind the garbage bin, hugging her knees to her chest as her eyes fell onto the window of her sibling's room.
I always wanted a sister.....
She looked down at the green cat in her hands and smiled at it. At least her sibling would have something to remember her...

He nodded. "My duty is to keep you alive, and I don't think sending you into the afterlife's going to help at all."
He walked to the window, looking off into the distance. "Yes, it's decided, I'll go. If anyone can think of anything to say to me before I go, now's your chance."

Vanessa nodded, but looked down so Dream couldn't see the grin on her face. She had a plan. She had a glint in her eye, as she looked down.

"Well... see ya." He paused a minute, then ran out the door.
Once out, he immediately took to the sky to think more clearly, without distraction. So... if I'm heading to Hell, then perhaps I should start with some back-up. He closed his eyes and searched his mind for a lingering connection between him and his old partner.
After a few seconds of searching, he found what he was looking for. Tapping into the connection, he sent out a message.
I need you... Come to me if you can...

"I'm going to go on... An errand." Vanessa said with a grin. She snuck out the door, and followed Dream. As she saw him launch into the sky, she ran to a nearby tree.

Violet shook her head and followed them slowly out the door. She had a good guess about Vanessa's errand was, so was fairly confident that she'd be nearby. Seeing Dream she took to the sky herself, following behind him and seeing him in deep concentration. Leaning over his shoulder from behind she said,
"You seem to be forgetting the part where i said 'Do not go in alone' you know"
