BobaFett13 Star Wars BattleFront 2 is the best so far. cool its a great game but i prefer kotor i think it was also the first star wars game to get 9. something on gamespot of topic has anyone played mercenaries that game is really really cool i think lucas arts should try to make more non star wars games (and did anyone notice that the female character has the voice of bastalia)

Mercinaries is okay... though I don't applaud LucasArts for their game playing. I would instead suggest sticking to the genre they know how to do. Star Wars. Let others take the stage.
Personally, my favorite game producers are Blizzard (Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo, etc) and Sierra (Age of Empires, Homeworld< my fave, basically anything involving RTS).
Those two really produce a damn good game. Not to say other games are not fun, but I can count on those two companies to make something i'll like around 80% of the time.
As for Battlefront 2... I give it a 6/10.
The pros:
1) More variety. So much flexibility with vehicles, planets, troopers, heros, you can find a special spot for anything.
2) its more realistic when it comes to physics. You actually have to lob grenades and stuff this time around, and more importantly, you can't snipe halfway across the largest of maps (however saddening it may be.)
3) The AI now has the intelligence to avoid grenades. And interesting challenge, though i'll miss the idea of watchign them walk into a grenade..
The Cons:
1) They took out perhaps the best maps of the game. Rhen Vhar is gone. Bespin is gone. Kashyyyk has only one map (which is acutally okay, but i miss platforms). The replacements aren't as good either. Falucia is so easy to win if you have one specific place, otherwise its boring, and dagobah is just a pain in the a**.
2) The curser is so small. You can't change classes easily, which though an admirable feature, makes it so annoying to click that 10 pixel tall button, you can't do it fast enough. So its almost easier just to stay one type and not die.
3) The Engineer class now sucks majorly. Only one weapon, and that's a slow shotgun. Not even a sidearm. Your sidearm is your fusion torch... How I miss that sidearm.
4) Campaign mode is somewhat boring, since you basically only play as empire. True, you play as the republic as well, but they're the same thing almost. And its just real annoying having to take the same kind of objectives over and over.
5) Most of all, Despite the AI growing an awareness of grenades, its still stupider than ever. Its hard even for me to keep more than four command points. heck, I stop to take a breather to reclaim a point, another will fall. It is most annoying, and that's not even on hard difficulty.
Overall, Its a good game, but it surprizingly did such a crappy job, I still keep Battlefront 1 on the cpu anyway to play more fun maps and be able to do more amazing feats, rather than watch all my hard work still go to waste.

I like Starwars Battlefront II I got it this Christmas and I already beat it. Me and my friend decided to play on Co-op Mode and we beat it in 2 1/2 Hours. It was pretty easy.

Am I the only person who got it for cpu, and play it online with 64 others? Battlefront is not a tough game. It never was. But its the quality of the ease.

Nelowulf FrozenPhoenix32 I like BF2 better than BF1 by far. How so? Enemy AI for one. Droidekas aren't super cheap anymore. Fighting in vehicles/ships is much much easier. Hero system is very well balanced also. And the sprint is oh so useful.

You are forced to live out the terms, and when you have like three people left in the town, its a pain in the a** to try and find them before time runs out. And sprint? When do you use that? You're not good enough to simply shoot your way through? Although, for jedi, its a must sometimes.

It helps you to get in on the action more.

I almost never use sprint. Of course, then again, I'm usually stuck capturing CPs by myself, so I'm more of a roller than a sprinter when the odds are 7v1

Hey, does anyone do Battlefront 2 online for PC? I want to have some buds to back my a** up, but i fear i will have to go it alone.
(especially heroes versus villians. I'm tired of being ganged up on 7v1 with force push and pull simultaneously.)
