Remmy looked up. She picked up on that? She shrugged. "I just, for some reason, I wanted to spend more time with you. I'd like to spend more time with you later and all, I just, I guess I didn't really want to leave yet." She was getting sort of nervous and she looked at her hands, feeling like she had been rambling. ((going to bed, night night))

you are strange :;slowly as though trying to figure Remmy out as she says those three words. she shakes her head a bit and snaps:: oh! ::and she's up and on her feet off to another room. a few moments later, she comes back, sipping her coke wtih a large phonebook under one arm.:: since you're here, we can see if we can't figure out where that flower shop was... think you'd recgonize the name if you saw it? ::asked as she sits down on the couch next to Rem, watching her reactions::

"Maybe, we can give it a try if you would like. It would make the search much easier I'm sure." she said, still fiddling with her fingers. She had never noticed before but she fidgeted terribly when she was nervous. But, then again, she really had never had any cause to be nervous before. "The odd name should help make it more obvious."

unless there's more than one odd name :;dryly as she opens the phone book to flower shops. glancing over at Remmy, she sighs a bit and puts her hand over Remmy's:: that's annoying ::tonelessly:: does this place make you that uncomfortable or is it me?

She looked up at her and smiled gently. "It's not that, honestly. I'm just not used to being in anyone's house so it's just making me a little bit nervous. Don't worry about it." she said, looking down at her hands, and also Nia's which was placed on top of hers. "Sorry if that annoys you."

She looked at what Nia was pointing at. It said 'Tempest Organics'. Remmy's eyes went wide at their good fortune. "That's it! Tempest Organics! They specialize in plants that like heat." She remembered that small detail about the shop after seeing the name.

perfect! ::rips the page out and puts the phonebook on the coffeetable. she glances around for a moment then grabs a pen from under the coffee table and circles the add so that she won't forget, not that that's likely:; i'll check it out tomarrow

She blinked a few times. "Uh, alright then." She wondered why on earth she had to rip the entire page out but decided not to ask. Yuki of course was not paying any attention since he was running around the house, not literally obviously.

::folding the page, she puts it in her back pocket:: need a ride home or something? ::glancing toward the window:: it's already dark... not exactly ideal for a girl to be wandering around alone... espically in the cemetary : surprised f course Nia did it anyway, half the time just hoping some poor perv would try to start something with her so that she could singe him... but Remmy was defenseless, so so she thought::

She stood up and shook her head. "No, I'll be alright. I always used to go visit my mom at night so I'm used to it. You don't have to worry about me, I used to play soccer." she said, smiling. She was trying to make Nia feel more at ease about her going home alone. But then, the fact that Nia had showed concern and that it was slightly amazing didn't really register on her.

:;frowns a bit:: right... hold on a sec ::she heads into a back room and up the stairs to her room. a few moments later she comes back down with a notebook and pen, writing down her phone number on it, as well as another number. tearing the page out, she hands it to Rem:: the first one is the number to here, call me the SECOND you get home so that i know not to assume you're dead. the other number is if you ever need something, meaning like a MAJOR emergancy. it's Bren's number so don't call it unless you can't reach me here ::she obviously gets very protective of her friends::

She smiled and nodded. "I swear I'll call you the second I get my shoes off and can make it to the kitchen to pick up the phone. The door will be clicking as I dial the number." she said, sliding the number into her pocket. "Thanks Nia." She decided to make a bold move and lightly kissed Nia on the cheek before heading out the door before she had time to react.

::she stands there, blinking in surprise as Rem leaves. shaking her head slightly she chalks it up to Remmy's strangeness. she still had doubts this friendship would last, though they weren't as strong as they had been at first::

Remmy smiled and blushed as she felt Yuki follow her out of the house. Now exactly what was that all about young lady? He asked teasingly. "Aww, shut up." she said, scuffing her feet and kicking at pebbles in the dirt. She had already made it to the graveyard and would be at their mother's grave soon.
