"I make room, and it's good to have all my books and notes nearby. That way if I need to doublecheck my notes or make references, I don't have to go too far to find the right book." Kaleb briefly wondered if he would get his arm back, but then he figured he should probably let go of the pillow first.

"What makes you think it would be stuffy?" Kaleb asked, shifting a bit under Riley to find a more comfortable position. He thought the only times his apartment got stuffy was when it was too cold in the winter to open windows.

"Libraries aren't always stuffy," Kaleb replied. "It's mostly just the old ones that have poor ventilation." He returned the grin. "Besides, I like my books and I wouldn't care even if they did make my apartment stuffy."

"They all smell stuffy like old books ta me." Except the almost library in the labs. That place was so sterile it constantly smelt like fresh cleaner.

"How many libraries have you visited anyway?" Kaleb asked, starting to look a little skeptical. He doubted Riley had even half as much library experience as he had. His partner sure made a cozy warm blanket though...

"Um .... three." Which really didn't mean he knew anything about them but he watched movies and they all looked like they'd be stuffy.

"I get enough fresh air going outside anyway." Kaleb said in a dismissive tone, sticking his tongue out a bit to lick Riley's muzzle. "Do you think we can go outside today?"

Kaleb frowned a bit, that was a good point. And he didn't have crutches or anything to help him get around on his own, although that might be something he should look into so. The thought of getting outside for a bit anyway made him smile. "I-I think I'd like that."

"Okay then ... guess we can go outside fer a bit." He sat up so he could turn off his game after saving it. Hopefully Kaleb wouldn't hit him with the pillow now that he'd been let go.

Kaleb smiled and sat up too, abandoning the pillow without a second thought. It would have been rude of him to smack Riley when he was about to do him a favour by taking him outside. He would need to borrow a sweater or something before going out so he didn't get too cold.
