Suze, if she hasn't clarified her question yet, you should just answer it as if she is talking about Lily Luna Potter, daughter of Harry and Ginny.
That really is the only way the question makes sense. At least to me, for if she was talking about Lily (Evans) Potter, then Lily's surname wouldn't be Potter during the time that the question is talking about.
However, if you want to answer both to cover the bases, feel free. Others have done that before, too.
Although HPlover's question does need some clarification, just explain your answer and in essence show your work and I think you'll be fine. We do need to keep this thread moving, and it's been over three days since she asked the question. So it's almost halfway to the default cutoff, and I'd hate to see anyone lose the Fanatic position because of an unclarified question.

So Lily L. Potter is two years younger then Albus S. Potter. James S. Potter is one year older then Albus S. Potter. 2 + 1 = 3!
James S. Potter is 3 years older then Lily L. Potter!

There are pictures of Ginny, Neville, Hermione, Harry and Ron and around them in gold chains is the word friends written over and over. biggrin

Hi guys so sorry I wasn't clearer with my question it was just I had been grounded and I was trying to get in my question thats also why I didn't answer and I was talking about Lilly L. Potter but I asked how old she was when James went to Hogwarts not how many years there was between them
