Tuari blinked, "Why would she want to watch a movie, she's a cat," he slumped forward, leaning against Cheveyo's neck, his main tickling his nose as he watched Angelino. He hadn't even noticed they'd already reached the beach.

Angie bit his tongue, nearly saying "Lina is no ordinary cat!" Instead, he caught himself and said, "I just meant that she might sit with us while we watch the movie, not necessarily watch the movie herself." He grinned up at his friend then bent down, picking up a shiny rock and passing it to Tuari. "Here. For you."

Tuari blinked and straightened up, then grinned and took the rock, "Thanks," he swooped down and gave Angel a wet kiss on the cheek, "For you," with a not-so-evil cackle, he had Cheveyo set off at a run.

Angie rolled his eyes and drew his sleeve over his hand, wiping the slobber from his cheek. Then he set off after Cheveyo and Tuari, yelling (and giggling), "What was that all about, 'Ari? Tryin' to gross me out?"

"Depends, is it working?" Tuari called over his shoulder, not going too fast, as that wouldn't be fair would it. Cheveyo wanted to break out and run, but eh, this is that Angelino kid, and he didn't want to embarass Tuari.

"Ok then, I am," Tuari laid back, due to his size being able to balance there. He bent his arms behind his head as Cheveyo slowed to a walk again.

Angie caught up to Cheveyo and Tuari, giving the dark-haired boy a light poke in the side. "Are you sure you were trying to gross me out? Didn't seem like it, especially with that weak evil laugh..."

"Hey! I'm ten, my evil laugh needs perfecting," Tuari gave him an odd look, "And what do you mean? What else would I have been doing?" Oh no...

"I'unno," Angie hedged, drawing circles in the sand with the toe of his shoe then he blinked and crouched down, pretending he had found something.

Tuari blinked, then looked up at the sky where stars were starting to blink into sight, despite the sun not having fully set yet. Tuari was inclined to ask Angelino something, but he wasnt sure...it was pretty...straightforward, and a bit awkward, "Angel..."

Tuari opened his mouth as if to say something, then shut it again and shook his head, "Nothin'," he continued to just stare upwards, half paying attention, half thinking.

"Oh..ok.." Angie sighed and went back to digging idly in the sand. He didn't expect to find anything but after a few minutes his fingers scraped againt something solid and smooth. Blinking, he dug a little deeper and came up with a kiddie plate-sized sanddollar.
