A light blush formed on McKenzie's face as everything she hoped no one would notice was pointed out to her. She stared intently at her feet during most of the speach. Until the end. She glanced at the Irish girl and scoffed, looking up toward Hogwarts. "You should try telling her that. " She felt the familiar pang of hurt in her feelings again as she left the tree and started back towards the castle. She didn't really want to go back, but she knew they would get in trouble if found.

Kathryn rolled her eyes, clearly she wasnt worried about getting seen "I dont see why we are heading back in. Its a nice night.. and Draco is too busy pissing himself, Snape.. has been turned off of the idea of bothering you and Faith...So the people who would normaly be looking for someone to bother.. are.. well.. currently not interested"
Placing her hands behind her head she tilted her head back to reguard the sky. "As for Faith.. she wouldnt listen to me anyways. I doubt she'd turst me further then she could throw me"

McKenzie chuckled softly, although it was half hearted. She was walking because she hated being static when upset. It only allowed her thoughts to get to her more. "That sounds like Faith. Half the time I wonder if she thinks the same of me." She sighed softly, stoping once more and staring at the night sky as if an answer would be there.

Kathryn paused, stoping, eyes already on the havens "You cant blame her. Love..Love for Faith must be a scary thing. Look at her family after all.. Her father.. Draco.. his father..." She frowned, such turth, bitter and cold. It was life. "Do I think she thinks the same of you as she might of me? I'm not sure. I say on a level that scares her, she returns your feelings.. but if all one knows is abuse and betrayle.. then why would they want to fall in love, when the people who should have loved her reguardless has hurt her so?"

McKenzie nodded slowly. She could understand why Faith acted as she did. "I guess I just blindly hoped she could see me as different. Just proves I'm an idiot I suppose. " She half shrugged and continued walking, wandering towards no place in particular.

Kathryn smiled at that "But you have hope. And thats the importent thing" She walked a few steps behind McKenize.

McKenzie nodded and found herself walking in the direction of Hogwarts once more. "Yeah... hope. I'm amazed I even have that anymore." She looked up at the sky once more and noted the position of the crescent moon. "It's getting late. I gotta get that pointless Divination homework at least somewhat done. Thanks for the pep talk O'Riley." She turned and smiled a little at the girl before entering the castle, heading back to the dorms. She paused outside her door, taking a deep breath before quietly pushing the door open, thinking Faith was alseep. She was surprised to see her awake and sitting on the side of her bed. She looked away and silently made her way to her trunk, grabbing some parchment and a quill as well as her Divination book. "I thought you would be asleep. I'm just leaving, don't mind me."

Couldn't sleep. I'm kinda getting used to insomnia. *Faith stood and slowly walked over to McKenzie, her hips swaying slightly* I was thinking that maybe I'm being an idiot by not seeing the good things in life. Even when they're standing right in front of me. *She trailed her fingertips along the girl's collarbone and smiled. She leaned forward and kissed her tenderly, her hands on her hips*

McKenzie had shivered at Faith's touch and blushed deeply when she was kissed. She felt her stomach do a backflip, leaning forward into the kiss and kissing back. Her mind raced. She was enjoying the moment, yet at the same time something seemed extremely off. She broke the kiss, hands trailing down Faith's arms to the girl's hands. She looked into the girl's eyes, confusion written in them. "Are... are you sure about this? I expected you to be angry with me for the next few days. This sudden change of mood... it just isn't like you." She wanted this all to be real, but from what she did know of Faith, she had a sinking gut feeling that there was something else behind it all.

Kathryn nodded to McKenzie, heading in as well. Though, when she did, the old hag nagged at her to keep a eye on the girl.. so with a call Dax came to her. and with detailed instruction the bird flew off to keep a eye on things in the room of faith and mckenzie

*Faith smiled and spoke in a reassuring tone* I've known hate and violence almost my entire life, and when something different came along I got scared. I was thinking while you were gone that maybe I should let go of my inhibitions and give this a shot. We might surprise ourselves. *She kissed the girl again and gave a shy smile*

McKenzie let herself smile a little, her shoulders relaxing as she wrapped her arms around Faith. She nuzzled the girl's neck and gave a gentle n** near the ear. She whispered softly. "I don't wanna move faster than you wish to go." She wasn't sure what to do now, so she took in the American's scent, the effect relaxing her even more.

*Faith let out a soft moan then lead McKenzie over to the bed where she slowly pushed her down and climbed atop her, straddling her hips. Faith pulled her shirt off before leaning down and kissing her more passionately*

McKenzie had blushed deeply when she was pushed onto the bed and mounted. Her animal side was fighting to come out and take over. She growled softly and in a playful way as Faith disrobed, kissing back into the kiss, deepening it as she let her hands explore the girl's body.

*Faith ran her hand up under the girl's shirt and traced the curves of her stomach. She sat up and grinned* How do you feel about bondage? I've... always wanted to experiment. *She said, a hint of embarassment in her voice*
