Wokovu was almost hanging of fhte lions back, having allready fallen asleep.. sadly. But eh, young cubs need their rest ne?
Yakuti, incredibly sleep deprived for being up almost two days was still awake, holding the sleeping wokovu up by the scruff of his neck trying hold him on. Eyes glazed over and half closed.. She hoisted her cub back up, moving to a sit "Sleep? good. sleep good.." she whined still half asleep. Wokovu was as good as dead..

Jasi yawned and hopped off the lions back, following Tuele to the tree. As soon as she got there, so ploped down in the soft sand beside Tuele. She didnt wait for the others to catch up. Her eyelids were slowly closing. In moments she was lost in a gentle dream. She was running through a field, completly green. She could see the others behind her, and up ahead, was a large rock formation. In moments she was up, ontop of the rock, and she could see all the vast green land before her. It was a marvoules dream...

Kinja growled at Kiu as he spoke. She felt that it was his fault that her daughter was out in the desert by herself but at the moment she wasn't ready to make accusations. Her main concern was to find Kijinga.
"We have to find her!" She was near hysterics at this point as she darted off following the scent of her little one. The wind had picked up slightly and the tracks of her daughter had been blown away, also scattering the scent in it's wake.
Kinja didn't know what to do as she skid to a hault once again within sight of Kiu, her head darted around as she tried to figure out where Kijinga was.

Continuing on...she had noted that her stomach was beginning to protest. Growling deep in her throat right back at it, she'd allow herself to scoot under what seemed to be a half dead tree...a tree, which she hadn't seen in forever...she must have come quite far already, though only at a trot, and had little mice that she found scattered about the desert for her only food...having stopped to take a breather once or twice in the last day or so...she was out quite far from what she called home. It was strange, in a way, Sumba had always seemed to have control over her. She followed her mother's every word--till she disappeared.
This didn't have much of an affect on her. Strangly enough, she felt free to do as she wished and controlling of her own form. Strange--but maybe natural at the same time...no one ever noticed her in her 'Pride'...but, well, At least I was fed. The back of her mind snapped, and she wrinkled her nose a bit. Yeah, so what, she growled in her mind, and rolled her eyes stubbornly. If they had wanted me to live, they would have at least spoken to me every so often. Nodding firmly to confirm her thoughts, she glanced around momentarily..hm, she smelt water in the cool winds, but..which way? It was getting darker, and cooler, so she'd have to hunt down a watering hole and crash there for the rest of the night.
Willing herself to her aching paws, she took a deep breath of the crisp night air--making sure no one was following her, as well. She could get into huge trouble if she were to get caught. Finally, the normally hyperactive bundle of energy dragged herself further...where she could see more dead trees, and even patches of grass! Wow, that was something she didn't know.

A cold breeze made Jasiri open one eyelid. It was still nightime, and the temperature had droped drstically. She looked back at Mwali, and couldnt help but feel bad for him. He musnt of had a woderful life back in his old home for him to have run away like this. Jasi couldnt blame him, from what she saw, the fireken were an cruel bunch. She got up, and padded over to Mwali. Woko was lying on the ground near him, and hoping she wouldnt wake him, she nugged him closer to Mwali, and then lied down by his side. She could see Tuele a little away, and wanted to call him over, but she didnt want to disturb his sleep. She put her head on her paws and stared out at the horizon, her eyelids slowly getting heavyer again.

Kavuasi stayed put, his father's words ringing in his ears. He hardly noticed as Kafara left, but after a few moments, he nodded at her words. So... Watch the sibs, keep Kafara out of trouble.
No problem, right?
.........Right?

Wokovu gave a grunt as he was pushed over, but still sleeping like a rock. His fur stood up from teh cold in an atempt to keep himself warm.. though mwali nearby definatly helped. He smiled in his sleep as another warmth came up next to him, flopping a paw over the cub as if she were a sibling he sighed adn slept on.
Yakuti had hidden herself in some of the grass and fallen asleep. She missed her den, alot. But the tall grass would have to do.. and she was really to tired to care.

Mwali stirred from his thoughts and turned his great head only to see many of the cubs curled into his side. They seemed happy there, comfortable even. It occured to him that perhaps they knew of him more than he would give them credit for. Though he was Firekin he'd never had the ideals and ways pushed onto him like the others had. He didn't carry the same pride for his lineage as say his father or brother had, he really could care less. His read coat didn't make him feel speical like his father felt all the kin should - it was just red... it was his coat and nothing more or less. Perhaps the cubs knew that he didn't carry the same malus in his heart as many of the others- or perhaps they had heard just how lazy he was or how poorly he knew how to hunt. Even if he did want to lay hurt to any of them -which couldn't have been further from his mind at the moment- he wouldn't do a very good job of it.
He could feel at least one of them shivering alongside him, pushing more into the red fur of his flank for warmth. A slow sigh was given and Mwali turned his body and curled himself around them, the wave of crimson mane providing extra warmth to the cubs. If they asked about it in the morning he'd not answer them... or he'd simply say that he was changing to a more comfortable position. A paw slid under his chin for support and he looked over the land that they had passed. His father was a full day's walk behind them... in no time he would know of his son's "trechery" though Mwali highly doubted that the king would care. He was his second son, the second prince, the spare paw. The only way he'd recieve any respect was if Kiu had fallen some how. Good riddance to them...he wanted no more of his kin or of his title.
Though... he was a bit saddened to have left his family on such a sour note. Wheather or not he recieved the attention he had wanted they were still his family and there was just no getting past that. Kui was his brother and as cubs -whenever their father wasn't pounding lessons into him- they would play among the dunes, sleep huddled together, and all that. As they grew older they grew more apart. When Kui had met his mate it was all over... Mwali never go so much of a word to him. He then had cubs which meant that though Mwali was a prince, it was a useless title. His days were filled with solitude and lazing about his den. He didn't like his behavioral patterns but it was those that were imposed onto him. He never had to hunt for himself a day in his life.
It was all different now, he felt he'd never see his family again and it was something he'd have to get over. Mwali drew in a deep breath, closing his eyes though he doubted that sleep would come to him. His body ached and as little sense as it made- he was too tired to sleep.

Slowly, her trembling paws would rest down into a small pond of sorts..water, finally! She smiled to herself, and moved to lay in the shallows...slowly resting her head down against the shore. The sun was horrid, making her even more tired...and, well, she was a cub...made it all the more worse. Lifting her head once more, she'd lap at the water, swiveling her ears this way and that to listen..how strange that the lands had changed so quickly!
Yawning widely, she'd rest her head back down onto the damp shore when she wasn't thirsty anylonger...feeling as if she'd drift off to sleep at any second.

((XD she just...appeared there >.>;; *so dumb*))
Kijinga pawed deeper into the woods. her tonge panting out of her maw. she sniffed slightly at the ground, the scent of her mother close. she let out a tiny shriek. her tail curled up as she began to pad quicker into the forest. soon she saw the desert. her eyes widen at the vast amount of golden sand that lay ahead of her. her eyes widen, her teeth clamped together, she moved fowards, towards the dry air.

Taka watched the lion, fox and cub's forms shift and settle quietly, tired from the day's run. She stretched, clawing the ground with her chest settled in the ground and her tail high in the air, her muscles and spine bending and pelt stretching over her bones before she flopped down to sleep. Even she was tired from all that running though not as much as poor Mwali, she had ran him pretty good. Oh well, we'll be in the Pridelands soon at it'll be smooth running from..there...
Teule had took it upon himself, even though he was quite tired, to watch over his 'pride'. His eyes drooped dangerously while he lay on his stomach, head slowly bobbing down which, as soon as he felt it hit some, he would snap back up, eyes wide. Sighing, he stood up, his tail batting the ground to keep him up. His eyes darted this way and that, unusally sensitive because of his tiredness though all the movement was blades of grass shifting in the wind. Gotta...stay awake... And then his body fell limpy to the ground in sleep, pulling his mom's tail about him, dreaming about what mwali would teach them tomorrow.

Jasi was awakend by the feeling of warm sun of her face. She open her eyes, and blinked the sleep away. She got up a streached, yawning. She could see that the others were still asleep. It would probally be another days run to the pridelands, and she thought they might want to get an early start. She slowly padded over to Tuele, and gave him a shove. "Wake up sleepy head." She grinned and tugged at his ear.

Teule pulled Taka's tail over hier head so whoever pestering him mgiht give up and go away. 'Need sleep...'

[] I need Jifyo to meet someone xD[]
Looking up from her spot in the water, she sighed heavily...it was lonely out here, but it had always been that way at 'home'. Shaking her head a bit, she slowly stood out of the water to sit upon the sand instead. It would be night soon, she didn't want to freeze to death. Shaking off softly, the youth would part her lips in a long yawn...where was she headed to? She wasn't sure. Just...away from that place. Looking down into the water, she noted some fish...
Fish? Food! Her mind called out on its own and she was on her feet in an instant. It was a small pool of water...and not too deep no matter where you went in it...She smirked to herself, baring a single ivory fang...she'd be doing some fishing soon.
