Pelt fluffed out, Amberpelt dashed back towards camp, skidding past Lotusleaf, offering no explanation for her distress. She paused long enough to catch a squirrel and a pheasant, and headed into camp, trying her best to smooth down her pelt as she entered the nursery. "Hi," she said, dropping the plump pheasant at Willowsong and the squirrel and at Swanfeather's paws.

Mudkit was silently following her. She made sure she was downwind, so the scent she gave off couldn't be scented.

Nodding in goodbye to the queens, she turned around, not spotting Mudkit, who was hiding as well as staying downwind. Not bothering to pick herself out some fresh-kill, she headed right to the entrance of camp, nodding to the warrior guarding the entrance, who was busy conversing with another cat.

Mudkit snuck back into camp, making sure no one saw her with a mouse in her jaws. She brought it to the fresh-kill pile, making sure no cat saw her, and she ran back to the nursery.

Deciding against going out so late in the day, she headed back to camp, grabbing a small mouse from the fresh-kill pile and devoured it hungrily. Knowing that Willowsong and Swanfeather would be out of fresh-kill, she picked up another vole and a thrush and headed to the nursery.

((Oh, my, Gosh. >.> Okay, seriously Dood-sama, you have you be just even a tiny bit realistic with your RPing. I'm the RPer of Mudkit's mother for pyrokitteh, and you can't just completely ignore everyone else's post, you have to interact, and respect what the cat says. Most mothers of kits would NEVER allow their kits to be out of their sight for more of a second. Did you read anything I posted before? Excuse me for sounding rude, but I can't contain my irritation any longer.))
--holding off on Willowsong's reply for now-- Riverkit's ears located his mother's voice. "Maybe." He meowed, and actually smiled. He only really smiled for his mother, or a special occasion. Thistlekit was sleeping as hard as a stone now.
"Alright." Duskfeather meowed, and followed behind. "Just don't forget, she headed off in that direction." She meowed, pointing with her tail. "Oh and I think I scented a mouse off over there." She motioned with her head.
((And I agree, RRT. =] Outskirts sounds good, lol.))

Dropping off the fresh-kill and saying a short hello, she sat back down on the small rock hidden by ferns, waiting for the evening patrol to be sent out.

-=Ooc=- Arainar is right Dood-sama. You need to add detail to your replies and actually have your kit act like she would if she were in the series. You can at least TRY and be more descriptive of what Mudkit is doing, and SLOW DOWN. It's not logical, possible, or FAIR for Mudkit to go out of camp, hunt(which is impossible for her right now), and come back in the same post. Please, PLEASE make her actions a little more realistic, otherwise I'll be forced to pm you about it and, if it gets to the extent, ban you. I would hate that more than anything, but I have to have my limits. And this goes to everyone.
Swanfeather chuckles a small laugh and nuzzles her kit to her. "Go to sleep soon. You will need all your strength if you want to be an apprentice." she mews quietly, careful not to wake Thistlekit. She then turns to Amberpelt and motions her to come in with her ears. "Sit down for a while. I have seen you running around camp like a lost badger." She smiles and takes Amberpelt's offering greatfully. "You are not the only warrior in the clan you know. Rest for a little while." Spottedwind emerges from the warrior's den, stretching(sp?) her legs. She shakes the leaves and bits of dirt from her pelt before heading to the freshkill pile to have a nice thrush. Lotusleaf nods and scents the mouse as best as he could. His fur was still hot, and he had trouble thinking. 'Under that bush...' He spots the little piece of prey, hidding beneath a broad-leafed plant, washing it's face. Lotusleaf took great care and crouches, moving forward silently. The mouse perks up and he make his move. Lotusleaf leaps and, to his dismay, his hind legs slip on the leaf litter, causing him to miss his mark by more than a tail length. The mouse dashes off and he swiftly follows, unable to catch the lucky creature as it bolts into a hole made by tree roots. If his fur was hot before, it surely was now, as he turned back to Duskfeather ashamed. 'I'm clan deputy and I cant even catch a stinking mouse!' he thought angerly to himself, with unknowing to him, made his heated body shake. He couldn't bear to look at the she-cat before him and motioned twitchily with his tail back to camp. "Lets go back. We wont find anything else here..." he mews softly.
-=Ooc=- Alrighty. The Outskirts it is! I'll have the new Clan Map and description up by tonight, so yay to that!

Amberpelt nodded at the queen's offering, and sat down, tucking her front paws underneath her chest and wrapping her tail around her black paws. "Thanks," she said gratefully. "Sometimes, I need to do more, since I'm not Clanborn. You know, to prove that I'm not too young or too...soft to be a warrior."

((I wouldn't mind, but wouldn't the Clan think of Amberpelt as an inexperienced warrior? That would cause unrest, right? Not to mention her lineage))

((Thank you, RRT.))
Riverkit frowned for a split second, then smiled again. "Sure." He mewoed, and curled up tighter. If they want a blind cat as an apprentice. He yawned a bit, he actually was pretty tired. Raggedtail padded out of the warrior's den, his amber eyes adjusting to the sky. Duskfeather smiled softly at Lotusleaf. "You're still a cat, Lotusleaf. I make mistakes too." She meowed. For a split second she almost found pity on the poor Tomcat, but she didn't like to pity cats. Rather she felt a bit sorry for him. "Being deputy will be rough, but you can do it. Whether you screw up with a mouse or not." She blinked her heather eyes, hoping he'd manage to look at her.

Amberpelt looked at Riverkit kindly. "Your mother's right, Riverkit," she said, a teasing note in her voice. "You're gonna need your rest if you want to be a warrior!"

[[Amberpelt, out of character, I'm calling you Zeroes. And I have been waiting for a good mentor, and Amberpelt is perfect. It isn't based on age, it's based on the way the warrior acts. If they act in a way that the leader thinks would be good for the new apprentice, that warrior will be its mentor. That's how it is in the books. And she learned to hunt by watching apprentices play, and sneaking out of camp to watch warriors, I guess. Also, can Riverkit and Mudkit be friends? That's how Pyro wants it... she told me to ask...]]
Mudkit fell asleep.
