Shijo turned to the mat and charged at it. He then started to throw a flurry of punches, the extra thirty pounds making it even more difficult. Each punch he gave a power yell, to help spurr him to go faster.

Doku held his hand up, closing his fingers to where the tips touched. The jagged edges of the daimonds came closer to his skin, cutting into. "Faster...."

It wasn't painful, yet, but it was very uncomfortable. He picked up the pace to the point that he could only power yell for every combo.

Doku created strings of chakra, pulling on the daimond. This made his punches miss and make him slow down.

Shijo's punches slowed down from the sudden suprise of the extra resistence. "Not yet..." He said, regaining speed and swiftness. "I can give plenty more before I use chakra! Not YET!!" He grunted, the burn of his muscles escalating as fast as his punches.

"You must move faster Shijo." Doku gave a swift pull on the threads, jurking them and making them move up down causing his arms to vibrate. He then moved them in a motion where it sent jerks right to the nerves of the muscles.

Kouzin had been recently released from the hospital, his most recent training regimen had almost killed him but he didn't play to it. He'd always been a survivor, always pushed himself to his limits before pushing even farther. He walked into the arena, his bandages still wrapped around his wrist, and hidden around his ribs. he leaned against the wall, taking some pressure off od his ankle, sprained from stress, watching the fights unfold. wishing he could take part in one of them, but knowing that he could seriously hurt hmself if he did. He observed Shijo training his speed and shook his head. "he's gonna be able to beat me at this rate" he mumbled before hearing something about the sharingan. he turned to the man from which the comment came from and spoke. "i will....here are the rules of this spar...to make things interesting" he called out with a grin. "Any Hekkei Genkai usage will result in an automatic failure and must answer to me. Small scale Genjutsu is allowed, but nothing with a wide effect area, we don't want anyone else being interrupted by a mass genjutsu. Also, Ninjutsu above C rank will not be allowed in this match. that is to say, No Pheonix, Hikoto." he explained with a slight grin of satisfaction. "you may begin when all three participants are prepared."

I stare down on to the arena. "Geezum. What is gonna happen to our poor arena now." I laugh and jump down. I smile as Kitsu wags his tail contently on my head.

He punched, then used the risistence that was pulling his fist back to power the next punch, almsot like a push and pull technique.

"This is true but the training regiment you have focused on simply improves your legs' endurance, meaning how long it will take them to wear out." "This training excersise will actually improve your speed."
