Eulalia Danae "There are no orange blossoms." Ora muttered, "we are either at the wrong trees, or the blossoms have been moved somewhere else."The tree fell over with a loud crash. The trunk of the tree was hollowed out and filled with a string of glowing light. Immediatley the trunk of the tree began regrowing. "Hn, perhaps it doesn't need them anymore..." Baranar said, narrowing his eyes. He reached out, attempting to grasp the string of light.

Talia started to climb down the girder, but lost her grip on the teddy bear. She cried out, "Loreez!" as it fell.

The light tingled in his fingers, energizing. ((refresh your powers...buwahahahaha))
Ora made notice as the bear fell, but turned away, it was an ugly bear anyway. "Perhaps, perhaps indeed."

"Perhaps, perhaps indeed."((All of us?)) Talia inched her way down the slanting girder, clutching the sword tightly. Once she lost her grip, and slid down several feet before she could stop herself.

Talia was now about 15 feet off the ground. She slid over the edge of the girder, hanging by her fingertips, then dropped the last 10 feet, falling on her a** - but she managed to keep hold of the sword.

Erik had caught the bear by accident when he stood up. "You might want this back." He said, tossing it to Talia. He then moved closer to the tree and crouched down. He saw the string of light and reached for it, expecting to be burned or some type of forcefield to stop him.

He saw the string of light and reached for it, expecting to be burned or some type of forcefield to stop him. ((why would you reach for something that you expected to burn you?)) Barnar felt his strength return, the opposing energies of his eyes burning all the brighter as he touched the band, seeming to split his face in half. He released the band, stepping back. Baranar didn't say anything, but set out to search the area more carefully. He examined the ground in particular, attempting to find a trap door or some such. ((ED, would the information Baranar stole tell him all that I already know about Pure Energy?))

((never mind))
Baranar paused, shrugging as he walked back to the tree, it already having regrown. Baranar planted his staff in the ground, his body glowing white. Blades of light shot outwards, ripping up the ground and the trees, generally ripping things other than the other people to shreds.

Ora glanced at the tree and then back to Baranar, "Have you accomplished something beyond the display of your own brash behaviour?"
(Pull on the string of pure energy, it might lead you somewhere. Yay for happy little trails of glowing junk.)

He grabbed the thread a little to hard this time, jerking on it.

'Don't just stand there,' Larrisa prompted Talia, 'go help him.' Talia carefully set down the sword and teddy bear, and went over to help pull on the string.
