Ophiuchus Operationrebirth Im new to this and i was wondering if anyone could tell me wether biovores are good or not becuase i like the look of them but i dont want to waste my time there's no such thing as a bad unit. There's bad tactics and there's bad players. Only way a unit is bad is people dont use them alot, thus leading to that

Fexes are Fearless, so they're never going to Fall Back, and they can't lurk. They don't need Synapse.

Operationrebirth ok thanks alot any other general advice? On bit here, Tyranids are generally a horde army (gozilla list notwithstanding) so don't bog yourself down too many upgrades. Take only what you abslutely need. Extended Carpace is a good upgrade, and should be stuck on anything with a 5+ save or better. Don't bother for stuff with 6+ saves though, it'll be a waste.

hackexe i still believe it would be best to keep them within range of the synapses creatures For what reason? Fexes being Fearless makes auto-passing leadership checks redundant. Synapse doesn't help with target priority rolls, and the Fex is ld 10 for that anyway. Lets not forget that if you're keeping your Synapse in close to the fexes, your much faster, lower Ld and non-Fearless units, like gants and hormagaunts are going to suffer far more than the fex.

Reddemon Still, you have to take the test and the guy wasnt You might as well not take the IB test. You pass, nothing happens, move the fex. You fail, nothing happens, move the fex. Pass or fail, the same thing happens, so there's no reason to even roll it.
