lol, thats hilarious if thats how they justify everything, yeah i can imagine that the humans love to be slaughtered because its all fun and games...
So a basic misunderstanding between Orkies and everyone is to blame...which, sorry to say, still isnt the most intelligent thing for them to think...

then again even if it is a truth that orks could charge into battle through raging fire and ballistics, it is a matter of opinion how stupid it is... or how likely they are to survive.

We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.

Both are true, its culture is strong cause it revolves around only one thing, and thats fighting. Now because of this we despise them, cause thats all they do, fight, and it is barbaric at best, and why orks are not considered intelligent.

Eldar and Humans are different species, but both can speak good English, and both know that bullets hurt.
Same for Tau, really.

Ah, here's the misunderstanding!

Bullets don't hurt Orks like they hurt Humans and Eldar, they are virtually impervious to pain. Self-preservation is also a mostly* foreign concept to Orks - which isn't a viewpoint to be pitied but rather respected. Orks don't fear death, so long as they die fighting: fighting is literally the end-all, be-all of the Ork's existence. In this way, of course, they have mostly** surpassed the vices and hindrances of most every other civilization in the Galaxy.

* Mostly, of course, because they are still subject to fear and breaking like any other race, albeit less so when in a mob.

** Mostly, of course, because we've seen examples of vengeance and greed specifically when it comes to Orks.

Mhmm. That's a good way to look at it.
But the perservance of life, feel, is pretty important for any species.

Except necrons who walk in to battle and don't give a crap really becuase they will be revived most of the time anyway so they just walk into fire uncarring. But really they aren't much or individuals anyway sense they were turned into mindless minions when they were given those metallic bodies.

I don't consider Necrons a species. I consider them a machine.

It's the same way I don't consider a Dreadnaught a Space Marine in armour.

I consider a Space Marine Dreadnaught something like to see die on the feild.
I consider it life support, with vengance.

really if your put in a dreadnaught theirs probably not much of you left atleast from the descriptions i've read xp

I could also say that every Ork who dies fighting furthers the cause of Orkdom, but they aren't exactly altruistic like that.

But hey, at least every Ork that dies provides spare parts for the Oddboyz. pirate

that's a nice thought, well if i'm screwed in battle atlest my arm will go to whats his name a couple yards down the fighting line. Personally i'd like to be burried whole but i'm not an ork, and orks aren't burried

xp its a rite of passage for orks to get ******** while running towards the guys with guns, unfortunatly, the downside to this, is that they are dead, therefor no benefits from running the gauntlet...i wonder if there is a ork heaven, and i bet its perverted in the fact that they are gonna get a giant golden choppa and an endless wall of hummies to stomp
