Not just peanut butter. Peanut Butter and chocolate in vanilla ice cream. With bits of resse's cups in it. I think it's the best thing ever. It's just really, really good.

Sir Langley
Yes, apparently you can click THREE times and blam... more headband action.
I reeeeeally wanna wear this with a hat, but blah... or like Sakura wears hers... cause it's all... cute like that... and.... ya....

Anyhow, a friend of mine has been raving about Wolf's Rain recently so I've been meaning to check it out.... However, when you say "Peanut butter+Vanilla ice cream" Langley drools and wants to see... or eat said ice cream......

You know what's the best? Eating said ice cream while watching Wolf's Rain. xd

But yeah. Basically, a long time ago (200 years ago), wolves supposedly went extinct (I think humans wiped them out, but I'm not certain). Except they didn't. They developed some sort of spell to make it so that they appear, to humans, to be humans. They don't actually transform into humans, but humans look at them and think they're humans and not wolves. Oh, and wolves can find Paradise when the world's about to end. The show appears to be about Kiba, a wolf who wants to find Paradise. And there's this guy with a dog, and they're both obsessed with killing wolves. Well, at least the guy is. The dog helps him, though, because the stealth wolf trick doesn't work on dogs, apparently. Or crows.

Anyways, I'm enjoying it. But, as I said before, I like wolves, I like talking animals, and I like movies like Homeward Bound where animals travel around. So pretty much there's nothing in the premise of the show I don't like.

From what little I've seen of the show (it was showing on Adult Swim right before I came home for the summer) I thought the premise was very interesting. I apparantly didn't get as far as you have, because I don't recall much of the story, just the idea behind the wolves and what they were doing. (and who was hunting them)

Maybe I'll be able to watch it when I get back to college...

Wow...that DOES sound good...*drool drool*

Did you just decide to try that one day? Or did someone show you how good it was?

I tried the ice cream because I saw chocolate + peanut butter + vanilla ice cream + bits of resse's cups and was like "SIGN ME UP!" Also, it was on sale, so even if it was awful I figured I wouldn't be out much. Now, like with vanilla coke, I'm a total addict. whee

Wolf's Rain - I'm on like episode 4. Or 5. I'm not sure if there's one left on the DVD. I'm guessing a horrible end for almost everyone, given the beginning of the first episode, but I might be wrong, I suppose. For some reason I think the Nobles are all part-wolves or something or wolf-outcasts who obliterated the regular wolves 200 years ago because they wouldn't be let into Paradise, and now they're going to try to go to Paradise themselves. This is based off absolutely no evidence from the series so far, just my random intuition and veteran anime-watcher sense.

The addition of wolf-hunting-psycho-robot-tanks has been a very, very pleasing growth in the plot. And the revealing that the series occurs in a post-apocalyptic style backdrop. After the apocalypse, after all, is where all the cool stuff occurs.

Ok, I'm set on describing Wolf's Rain if anyone ever asks me. "It's Homeward Bound in a post apocalyptic future."

Anyways, I think I've rambled enough on that...

(yes, I watch Naruto. No, I'm not proud to admit it.)

What's wrong with Naruto? sad

Haven't seen Wolf's Rain, but I hear nothing but good reviews about it, I'll rent it some day when I've catched up with all the movies I want to see.

I've been into R.O.D. TV lately, and am eagerly awaiting the next volume. I had to push down the consumer whore part of me and not get the special volume one that comes with the big book container, Me: 1 Sickness: 0
Other than that I've been watching old horror movies and whatnot.

Have you read the manga?

The latest plot arc has been a slow, painful monstrosity that needs to die. It's like Kishimoto's love confession for small gothy boys. I don't even bother to read it most of the time, now, I just read summaries posted by other people, because the art isn't all that great, the story is, at best, lack-luster, and frankly, the moral of the story at this point is that Naruto should just execute Sasuke as the traitor he is and go back to mourn Neji and Chouji, who, if they aren't dead, would instead be living proof that Kishimoto is some sort of space whore.

Basically, ever since the Rasengan Bet arc ended, Naruto has become more and more painful to read every week. I hear they're going to put some filler in between the Bet and the next story arc, but I'd rather they just cut the whole arc out. Kishimoto would have to come up with something incredible at this point to make the arc not suck.

Oh, and I hate how all the female characters are crappy ninjas. That's just insulting.

Anyways, that's my commentary on Naruto. I used to like it, but it's become less enjoyable as time goes on.

I've been watching the show more than reading the manga. It's been a hile since I've seen it though, I think I've seen about 20 or 30 eps though.

What are they in the manga, 3? 4? Or are you reading scanslations? (sounds like you have with the week by week thing) I've only read up to two of the American realese. Well anyway, I can see how you don't like it, just don't be ashamed if you do! biggrin

So far I really liek Naruto, and give major props to the poor guy who was stuck in his little crowded messy appartment while creating it. I heard it gets somehwat drawn out and repetative though (as you;ve mentioned) and has a DBZ sickness to it, but I haven't gotten there yet.

I haven't seen too many female ninjas, though it did kinda bother me that whoever the main girl with the pink hair is all whiney and crybaby lame. I thought she'd get better though (guess I'm wrong?)

actually i watch Naruto as well. im up to where Lee kicked the living s**t out of Gaara. and Gaara got up unharmed XD.

3 problems with the show

they have a foot fetish
the summaries at the beginning get annoying
and they do the multiple face thing(dont know the name) way to many times

Naruto - It seems like its a pretty popular series. (I have no idea where everyone watches it...since I have yet to see it in stores) I've seen a little of it on the net, not sure how far it was in the series. From what I saw, it was alright...but it seemed to have that DBZ flavor to it...and I loathe that flavor.

The anime I'm interested in reading/watching is One Piece. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and I've read through most of the first manga and I'm impressed with the style and the strange plot. Anyone else heard/seen it?

I watch naruto....a lot. I find not too much wrong with the show at all.....how ever, i do think this last arc in the manga is going fairly slowly, but i think thats just a personally hatred for orochimaru and wanting him to die faster...... which ive given up on and just isnt going to happen soon.....

And i dont believe the story is set that much on the surface of things...its just being dragged out a bit. I like how now they are going back to explain the dealings with sasuke and itachi. And there doesnt have to be a moral yet.....the show/ series has almost just begun really, and its nowhere near ending.

And not all the female ninjas suck.....have you seen tsunade, the new hokage!!!! Oh yeah...she really sucks.... stare
