I joined to day and figured that I might as well introduce myself. Im 13 and Im a 7th grader. I've been trying to learn Japanese for 2 months now, and really havent gotten far. So hopefully I can learn better here.

Hey, I seen this guild in the listings and thought I would join. Thanks for letting me, btw. I've been studying Japanese on and off for the past 3 years, it's all been self-study with the help of the occasional Japanese penpal. So I might be rusty. I'm a big fan of Japanese culture, though surprisingly I don't watch anime or read manga much. But I am into the music & fashion scene a lot, plus the culture and the food. 3nodding I listen to mostly Jrock artists, Jtrance, JJazz and any other type of music which sounds good. :] Nice to meet you all~

hi hi~! I'm DestructionSong and I'm learning Japanese by myself. I'm studying the katakana right now, but i know hiragana, and I've just learned...like...3 or 4 kanji! YAY ME! I hope to get to know everyone~ hee hee hee!

Hi!
I'm Samira and i am learning japanese by internet resaurces. There are no japanese classes available at my high school and the only class around here is kind of expensive (for me anyway. . .*needs a part time job badly*) I am learning. .. . but it is taking forever >.< o well.. . . .
I am extremely interested in Japanese music, japanese fashion, japanese food, and japanese culture. well and japan in general. heart
I'm 16 and in 10th grade . . .. .
I tried a spanish class. . . i got to level 3 but made grades increasingly dropped each coarse. . . . . i didin't like spanish much anyway.. . I spent all of spanish 3 listening to Japanese lesson podcasts on my iPod. >.<

わたしは、ずっと、ニュウヨークに、すんでたので、少し日本語が、下手です。。。
トランソレイトが、一番、苦手です～

heart I can't decide...Konnichiwa!
You can call me Infomaniac, Maniac, or Laur. blaugh I'm seventeen turning eighteen in a month or so (June 6), and though I've been watching anime for a few years now and picked up a few Japanese words that way, it's only been recently that I decided to start trying to actively learn Japanese.
I'm trying to either sign up for a Japanese class on Keystone High School or get Rosetta Stone, but until then, and even after that, I'd like to learn Japanese here and talk with other people learning it too!
Umm... I don't know what else to say really. sweatdrop Other than... I'm very glad to be here and I hope to learn much and make some friends! xd That's all for now! ... Whether you should live or die... heart (I Can't Decide by The Scissor Sisters)

I'm Elitsa (or just Ellie 3nodding ) from Bulgaria . The only place you can study Japanese here is in Sofia (the capital of Bulgaria) and I'm from Varna and even if I was in Sofia , I couldn't possibly study in there , because I'm just 13 and this is below the age requirement crying But I study Japanese by myself ! All I've learned is thanks to the wonderful Saaku-senpai , my Japanese dictionaries and...... Anime (Yup , if you listen closely , you can learn some phrases). I'm really thankful , because all of you make it easier !

Good afternoon.
I am Ashleigh. I am English and 21 years old.
I haven't been learning Japanese for very long, probably about 2 months or so. But I am very serious about it. =] I want to teach English over there, so it'd be nice to be able to understand what people say to me. I'm self taught and can read all the basic hiragana (plus dakuon and handakuon - still getting to grips with the yoon). Katakana is up next. I know a few basic kanji. Sentence structure is my weakness.
I like anime, mangas and j-horror. I use j-horror for listening practice, rather than anime which I've been told uses a lot of unrealistic terms.
I don't know what else to say really. I'm here learn. mrgreen

I'm 20 and I just recently started to learn japanese with my husband for something todo in our freetime. ^.^ We live in the middle of no where canada on a airforce base..so..we needed something todo haha.

Hello! My name is Kittymutt, but you can call me Katie. I am 16 years old and I live in America. I recently just started to study Japanese and hoping that joining this guild will be a big help.
So far I only know how to introduce myself, Ask basic questions/answer and greetings/goodbyes. I will start memorizing Hiragana and Katakana soon since I found a website that had printable flash cards. smile
I am scared of learning Kanji because it looks very complicated!
