Hedoro continued walking towards the center of the village, then through it. even though she didn't know what the power source was, she felt confident that she would know it when she located it. A slight wind blew past her, ruffling the numerous layers of rags and torn clothing slightly. She looked like a cross between a hobo and a mummy, it was the best form of outfit she'd been able to find that would hide her unusual nature. She paused momentarily as she felt a slight sensation a short distance ahead. It was some form of energy, she could tell that, but what kind? She had to find out.

Moving forward slightly more quickly, she advanced on the meteor, only noticing Bone when she came to within twenty feet or so. She didn't spot him by the light reflecting off his eyes, she spotted him by feeling his presence, like she did everything else. Coming to a stop, she oriented to face him, unsure if he was a visitor to this land or one of Star's ninja, guarding their power source.

"I have no interest in you. Leave me to my meal." Her voice, the sound of a burbling spring and bubbling muck, didn't sound like a normal voice, but was still easily understood.

Hedoro froze in mid-step when they identified her. How in the hell did they know who she was?! She'd always been so careful with letting people know who she was, what she was. How much did they know? She stepped forward, raising an arm, intent on pushing past Bone to gain access to the power source behind him. Before she did, she replied to his request.

"If you know who I am, then you likely know what I am capable of. Get out of my way, fleshbag." After she was done speaking, she began moving forward again, she'd deal with the power source first, and then decide if this person was a threat to her or not.

(Just to point out, Hedoro is wrapped head to toe in bandages and rags and stuff, you wouldn't actually be able to see her face. I'm using this pic of her because always writing her name at the top of each post got a little boring.)

"I will give you nothing, solid boy. Now out of the way!" Hedoro pushed forward sharply, but was surprised when there was absolutely no give in the one standing in her way. What, was he carved out of solid stone? She pushed harder, but it proved useless. Letting out an inarticulate cry of annoyance, she stepped back, preparing to attack the one in her way. Her arm moved back down to her side, both limbs hanging low and at the ready, but not going into any form or stance.

(Sure, close enough. Although a slime doesn't have a regular face shape, and most of the time she doesn't even have eyes, but we'll just ignore that for now.)
((Sure, I don't see why not. I have the feeling the fight would be pretty disappointing otherwise. One question, though. Just what is this version of Bone? An android, or a cyborg, or something else? I don't need specifics, just a general idea would help.))

Hedoro was preparing to dash forward with another attempt to break past Bone when he finally went into action. Raising a hand, she felt the energy welling up within him a split-second before it took effect, not nearly enough time to react. When he sent the blast of wind at her, she was sent back several yards. She did manage to keep her footing, though.

Straightening up her posture once more, she began plotting out her next move. It came to her a moment later, a suitable attack that would possibly blast through her opponent. While she set it up, she chose her reply carefully. "I will give you nothing, solid boy, save a rapid destruction!"

She rushed forward again, pulling a fist back for a textbook perfect example of a haymaker punch. At the same time, she could feel her earlier attack finally beginning to show it's true effect. If Bone was paying attention to his own body, he'd be feeling it too. His chakra was beginning to seal itself up. Not a very large amount, only a fraction of his total capability, but a noticeable chunk nonetheless. She counted on his noticing it, in fact, to give her the window of opportunity to connect with this strike.

(Oh, a Realian? I see now. Yes, this should be a lot of fun! Hmm, I wonder if Hedoro would become a DME addict like Virgil if she ate Bone?)

Hedoro felt some measure of satisfaction as Bone took the hit square to the face. It was a powerful blow, if she'd have hit a normal person with it, she'd probably have broken their jaw. But against him, nothing nearly so powerful. Again, he didn't seem to be moved by it at all. That was okay, that was never the intention of the strike. In fact, the only purpose of it was to touch him again, to try to get close and stay there. Of course, he seemed to be working towards the diametrically opposite task, keeping her away.

She had made no move to block his strike, even if she'd been able to, she had discounted it as ineffective. But when she felt his hand and forearm shift into a drill, she realized she should have been more cautious. As the drill spun at high speed, whirls and ripples passed through her faster and faster, faster than she could put things back where they belonged. In a brief moment, she went from one full-size form to several noticeably smaller pieces. Her extended arm was tore off at the shoulder, still in the middle of punching Bone. Her legs were tore off at the hips, knocked off to her left. Her upper torso went the opposite direction, and slightly to the back. Various smaller gobbets went in all directions, splattering Bone, the ground randomly with blue.

Hedoro grumbled as she tried to pull herself together. Her outfit had already been rags, so it wouldn't have gotten too damaged, but even so she'd need some more cloth to replace what had been torn to the point of no use. She kept track of Bone with a new level of caution, it seemed he was able to shift his body just as much as she was. That would be worth keeping an eye on, he was much more dangerous than she originally thought. Luckily, she already had her second plan in motion.

Hedoro's pieces were starting to gather together in larger conglomerations, when she noticed he was preparing another attack, this time, his arm morphing into something long and cylindrical. The short instant it took for her to detect the energy gathering in it gave her scant warning to dodge, but she tried anyway, pushing off of the ground in an ungraceful leap to the side. The beam still struck her, there was no escaping that. But at least it wasn't as solid of a hit. She still lost a sizable amount of her mass, but nothing she couldn't regenerate, if given the opportunity.

An opportunity she planned on seizing right now! Even while she was dodging, she was still proceeding with her own plan, and finally activated it once her upper torso landed on the ground. It'd been a long time since she used the technique last, but she still remembered how it worked. The arm she'd left on Bone had altered into ordinary water, and then an instant later turned dark black, as she activated Symphony of Water. Since Bone was already in contact with the paralyzing water, it'd be highly unlikely he'd be able to escape it's effects.

(Well, her infecting you does more than just seal off your chakra, the rest will be revealed as we progress. But yes, I look forward to seeing that technique, whatever it may be.)

Hedoro felt a flash of irritation course through her when Bone cancelled her last attack. She had felt confident that it would work, let this serve as a reminder to her to be ready for the opponent to be stronger than she expected. She still had a few more tricks up her non-existent sleeves. Even while her loose arm returned to it's normal consistency, she was continuing to pull the rest of herself together. Now scattered in only a half-dozen locations, the various masses were preparing to recombine.

With a few final, fluid movements, she rose up, back in a form approximating that of a human's. She charged forward, a kunai held in each hand, headed directly towards Bone in a simple charge.

"You know far too much about me for my liking, solid boy, I can't permit you to keep that knowledge."

Even while saying this, Hedoro was preparing her true attack, planning it out to strike at an opportune moment. She knew that a frontal assault would likely prove less than effective, but it would serve it's purpose.

Hedoro supposed she should thank Bone, for warning her what move he was using ahead of time. It gave her enough time to formulate a counter. In the end, though it lacked originality, she decided to use the same move he did. She even decided to copy his mannerism, and announce it, as well. "Jutsu Shou."

Her form rushed towards Bone, both kunai glinting in the low light as she prepared to strike with a flurry of blows. They were aimed for all over, not centered on any one part of his body. A distraction like this would hopefully divert his attention from more pressing matters.

(True, but there's always another way out. Is it just me, or is this fight seeming more like a battle of maneuvering, rather than any actually damaging effects?)
