Cyra Hakkai Targeted ((Hey guys! I'm so glad you are keeping up the RP even though the only people you seem to be posting are Bob, Je, and Cyra. Umm, not trying to sound greedy, but I wanted to see if I could RP! Since you know, people are gone and I really like the story thats going on! Umm, so I was kind of wondering if Cyra could like reserve Quillan for me because I have to kind of develop the character in my mind. That might take like a day or something. It sounds stupid but I have to do the same for writing fanfics, even though the characters are on books and such. So yeah... I will read the eight book again so I know more about Quillan. Anyways, Goos job you guys! Keep writing! )) ((Of course you can join! I don't think anyone else is. xD Sorry I haven't been on. My family went on vacation. ^^))((Okay cool! I wouldnt know how to start though... Plus, my character isnt built yet. Though she is being worked on! Sigh, Im pathetic. biggrin ))

Ilandere stood sheltered by the wall, refusing to come out into the open.
“Aw, come on Ilandere. Join the fun.” Saint Dane called to her mockingly, “You know you want to see your little friend. Don’t disappoint him like you have so many. Don’t disappoint him like you have your father.”
This comment hit Ilandere like a punch to the gut. She continued to stand in the shelter of the stone wall, a tear running down her face.
“Oh, yes you have, Ilandere. He is very disappointed.” Saint Dane sneered, sensing her emotion, “He wanted you to be a good little traveler, he wanted you to use his love in your journey. Wasn’t that what he said Ilandere? Where’s the love, eh? Don’t you love your friends?”
Saint Dane stopped and let his words settle in and fester. He was getting at her good, and he knew it… but there was also something he didn’t know. Being cocky he stepped up for the kill.
“Do you love them enough to let them die?”
The last string snapped and Ilandere rounded the corner shooting several arrows into Saint Dane’s torso. He didn’t know that she had brought her weapons with her, and not only did the arrows take him by surprise, they pierced his lungs. He dropped Themba to the floor and was thrown back with the force of the arrows. Ilandere stopped shooting and charged at him, beating him with her metal baton, sending several electric pulses through his body.
“Lily! Get Themba and run!” She shouted in between hits. Saint Dane fought back weakly, gasping for air but getting none.
“But, Ilandere!” Themba shouted to her desperately.
“I said run!”

Izzy was shell shocked. She hadn't expected Ilandere to react to Saint Dane's words like she did. She didn't have time to think or even comprehend the situation at hand.
Ilandere was just there. Saint Dane was on the floor. And the yelling was just flapping mouths to her mute ears.
Quickly steping into action, Izzy gently pulled Ilandere off the beaten Saint Dane. "Ilandere...stop this." She said in her ear. "Do you think that Death is good enough for Saint Dane? I know what he said was ment to hurt you...just let him live. We need to get Themba, Lily and you medical attention." Izzy held the thrashing Ilandere in her arms. Saint Dane lay bloodied and broken at their feet.
Letting Ilandere go, Izzy knelt next to the Demon Traveler. Weakly he opened his eyes and smirked at her. "You are far to compassionate Izzy." He said softly.
"Yeah." Izzy said grinning. She punched Saint Dane square in the face, knocking him out completely. "Nightly night."
((Sorry Ilandere. I don't know what that did you your plot, or what you might have been planning. I didn't know what to post. Izzy was just itching to give Saint Dane that smack in the face. xd ))

((Hey, no problem... I was wondering when someone besides me was going to step in and bap him good. Just do whatever you please, I like to share the love xd ))
- Ilandere stepped back from Saint Dane as Izzy had asked her to and grabbed Themba’s arm draping it over her shoulder to support him. She grabbed Lily’s hand to drag her along with and began to run.
“Follow me Izzy.” She shouted back to her, then continued to run. She felt as if she had taken the role of commander as she expertly navigated through the labyrinth of the underground tunnels, aiding her friends along. When they were at a safe enough distance away she stopped and let everyone breathe for a moment.
“Now what?” Themba said dizzily. Ilandere looked up to her pale friend and held him steady on his weak legs.
“We need to get to the surface. I can get us all to Loor’s easily. We can rest there and plan our next move.” Ilandere paused and looked to Izzy and Lily, “Are you guys alright?”

Lily nodded. "YEah, I'll be fine. ARe.. are you alright, Ilandere? And Themba?" Before her friends answered, she felt tears pouring down her face. Quickly she turned and wiped them away. She was thinking, 'This is all my fault'

((Gah. I know what you mean! Good luck in the play!! ^^))
Izzy hesitated for a moment before following Ilandere and the rest of them. Saint Dane was right. She was too mushy. And even now, she didn't want to leave the being that had destroyed her world. Killed her sister. And made her life lonely.
Shaking her head firmly, she stood and followed the others. She'd come back later. But something felt wrong just leaving him there in the hallway...
Keeping tabs and making sure that no one was following them from behind, Izzy gently slowed to a stop when the others did.
Not saying anything, Izzy noticed the wetness on Lily's cheeks as she turned away from them. Almost, as if she were a mind reader, Izzy knew what she was feeling. It had happened to her before. When her sister died. Carefully, Izzy pulled Lily into a firm hug.
"Let's get out of here." She said softly. "These tunnels are giving me the creeps. And besides medical attention, I think we could use some sunlight. I've never been to the surface before either."

Ilandere nodded and continued to pull Themba along. It was a long journey to the surface because they were far underground and Ilandere wasn’t sure how much farther she could drag her weary companions. They finally reached the surface entrance and under cover of the night they made out for Loor’s home. It took a lot less time to get to Loor’s than it did to get up to the surface and that was a relief for all of them.
Ilandere peeked cautiously around the last corner and gave a wave to Izzy and Lily to follow. There was a soft glow emanating from the inside of the small home which showed that Loor was still awake. Ilandere raised her hand to knock but before she could do so Loor opened the door.
The look on her face went from a look of shock to a look of concern.
“Ilandere!” She exclaimed, “Why are you here?! It is too dangerous. What has happened?”
“Please, Loor. Please understand when I say that my friends and I are in danger.” Ilandere said soothingly, “We needed help and a place to stay and you were the only person I knew I could be safe with. You were the only person I knew I could trust.”
Loor looked at the tattered group in shock. When she spotted their injuries she immediately ushered them inside and locked the doors and windows up tight.
“I shall get bedding for you all.” Loor said briefly then turned to leave. Ilandere sat Themba down on the floor and propped him up against a wall.
“Please, sit.” Ilandere said motioning to Izzy, “She will be back in a moment.”

Lily sat limply on the floor. The pain, hunger and exaustion of the past few days came crashing down on her. She heard Ilandere talking to Izzy and her, but couldn't understand what she was saying. Everything was dull, blurred though tears, a mixture of pain and guilt. Lily clamped her eyes shut and clenched her jaw, trying to stop the flow, to no avail. "It's all my fault, I'm sorry," she whispered, barely loud enough for even herself to hear.

Izzy leaned gently against the wall of Loor's house. Giving Lily a sideways looks, she scooted a little closer to her. "Are you alright?" She said softly.

Lily nodded. "Yeah. I'll be fine. I'm just tired." Her stomch growled and a small smile spread across her face. "And a bit hungry." She too leaned against the wall and closed her eyes. "Ilandere, I'm..." She paused, and swallowed the words.

Ilandere waited for what Lily was going to say to her but nothing had come. She took the bag of items she had retrieved and pulled out food for everyone and the clothes for Lily. She handed Lily the food and clothes.
“Here,” she said, “You look like you could use some food.” She then handed Izzy some food, “You as well.”
She turned to Themba and pulled out the first-aid items she had brought. She delicately took the wrappings around his head off and he gave nothing but a small flinch. She walked to a washing bowl that Loor had in the corner and dipped some cloth in it and wiped Themba’s forehead clean. She then checked his head for any other injuries and put a salve over the wound and tightly wrapped it.
She gave Themba some food as well and was about to tend to her shoulder when Loor came back in with enough bedding for them all. Ilandere stood to help her but before Loor handed her anything she looked to Ilandere’s shoulder.
“You are hurt.” She said worriedly, “And Themba too. Ilandere what happened?”
“Can this wait for morning?” Ilandere asked, “We are all very tired and—“
“No Ilandere.” Loor said more firmly, “Tell me what happened.”
Ilandere sighed and shot Izzy and Lily a glance before answering. “Alright,” she said, “There is a group of Rokador that are working as spies for the brotherin of Batu who wish to bring us down. We caught them and we were attacked. It is no longer safe for any of us to stay in the tunnels.”
Loor looked at her uneasily, not knowing if she was telling the truth. But what more likely explanation was there? “Get some rest.” She said finally while handing Ilandere the bedding and turning for the door, “Before you came I was heading out to join a team of Ghees who are traveling to another society. We were going to discuss with them how we could stop this war from happening. I will be back by tomorrow evening. Until then stay indoors and keep the windows and doors shut. Don’t answer the door for anyone.” She laid a hand on Ilandere’s shoulder caringly, “Please, Ilandere. Be careful.”
And with that she turned and left, shutting the door behind her. Ilandere lowered her head. She hated to lie to Loor, and felt terrible about it. Ilandere put the bedding on the ground and sat against the wall, burring her face in her hands. Themba put an arm around her affectionately.
“Let’s take care of your shoulder.” He said.

Trent sighed, watching his ring expand, the mini-flume within opening up to Veelox. "Man.." he sighed, "I wish I could jump through this thing... but the parameters of it are way different from the regular flume..." He chuckled, realizing he'd been speaking in tech jargon.
It didn't really matter anymore, he'd been in the luxury room for a day now, with an emotionless butler coming in and leaving food for him. Hoping that Izara would send a message to the other acolytes, telling them where he was, he dropped into the down bed, sinking into the mattress. '
Izara, after seeing Morn off, with journal in hand, she walked over to her desk, and picked up a transponder. She pressed a button, placing it on the floor ahead of her. Taking a few steps back, she stated clearly:
"Sorry to send another message so soon, but I forgot to say.. Trent is on Quillan. Thank you - Izara, Veelox"
((Sorry, I haven't been posting, but read my last one, on page 43, and this one, and then get the acolytes to recieve the messages, plz!))

Izzy took the food that Ilandere had offered her, but she placed it on the ground next to her. Stomach in knots, this was not the time to eat. Taking the bedding that was ment for her Izzy pulled it over to a corner and pulled the blanket over herself. Leaning against the wall, Izzy kept to herself. Lost in her thoughts...until...
"Hey." She said suddenly. "My ring..."
Izzy took the ring off and threw another blanket over it to dull the sound and the lights. Several seconds later, Izzy lifted the corner to peek under it. Reaching, her hands found the small, square black thing that was left behind. Slipping her ring back onto her finger, she looked at the device.
"Does anyone know what this is?" Izzy asked, uncertain. Sliding it around on her palms, the smooth serface was mared by a button.
As all beings usually do...for they can't help it. Izzy pushed said button.
A holographic image of a young woman flickered to life before her. Alarmed, Izzy dropped it. It began to speak. Leaning forward, she stared at the little person. It said, "Sorry to send another message so soon, but I forgot to say.. Trent is on Quillan. Thank you - Izara, Veelox"
"Another message...must have missed the first one." Said Izzy jokingly. "Umm...do any of you know who Trent it? I think...well. He must be from Veelox." Tucking the device into her pocket, Izzy yawned. "Nothing we can do about it now..." she said softly.
