"Well, either way if they ever have kids, they'll have a handful because there's the blue-haired ones and the redheads. The blue haired kids are mischief makers and the redheads are the ones always getting into fights of some sort. They also make wonderful warriors, being passionate by nature," Kitara says, the pain subsiding for a little bit.

The redhead smiles, relishing the embrace that he has her in, then says, "Well, what do you think, honey? I have a migraine, which is a first. Aside that..?"

She pauses before asking Ktra, "Who else is going?"

"Westley, with Lael and Crisa; Kitara and Jay," he responds.

Margem puts a hand on Darian's arm that is around her and she asks him, "Should we go? If not for my sake, for your cousin's sake?"

"I guess we should go," Darian said, giving Margem's shoulder a small squeeze. "Get your head checked out. That was a pretty big fall you took, and you did say you have a headache."

Ktra nods and turns back to the helicopter, which was only about twenty feet away. He ducks down and goes over to the helicopter, telling the pilot to wait for the bluehaired Elf and the redheaded Mystic to board before taking off.

Margem squeezes her eyes shut for a second as she expresses her happiness through a smile. She nods and, not willing to part from Darian's side for even a second, walks with him towards the helicopter, her head still pounding.

She hears Lael's question, almost lost over the sound of the propellers.

The redhead nods and says, "Yeh. Long story. Um... One of Darian's nightmares came true. ...and then I fell and hit my head. And now I have a headache that won't go away."

Once Margem and Darian get onto the helicopter, Ktra climbs on and closes the door. He then signals to the pilot to take off, which he does. He leans against the door, wondering about the young girl that he had helped today and how she would fare on her journey.

Margem smiles slightly, closing her eyes and putting her head on Darian's shoulder as they sit next to each other.

"As Darian knows, wherever I go, there's bound to be something that comes up. ...it's just my luck."

Jay laughs at that and says, "It's also Darian's luck too, I'd say, because of what we've been through while the two of you were seperated for a while."

"Gods, I hope you're right," Darian sighed, "I've seen enough death in my day, I don't need more."

Nathan heard the helicopteroverhead and looked up. "Looks like we missed somethin'. Typical," he laughed.

"Probably taking Westley to a hospital. Gods know he needed it."

Margem stutters, "I meant... that.... That I always..."

She exhales, blowing bangs out of her eyes.

"I wasn't meaning 'death' or anything that morbid..."


Jay nods at Lael's response, "I just hope that our son and daughter don't have to deal with that as much as we have had to."

Trea makes it to her Aunt Annalicia and Uncle Gregory's house about ten minutes after her mom had told her to go home. She knocks on the door then sits on the doorstep, hoping her mom will be alright.

Kitara nods and closes her eyes, her brows furrowing as she wishes her chid to stop giving her pain.


Margem reaches over Westley's sprawled form and touches Kitara's knee. She closes her eyes for a second and, doing so, transfers a bit of energy to the elf. She does the same for Westley, to keep him alive (as he is fighting a terrible fever). She nods slightly and returns to lay her head on Darian's shoulder, her headache more fierce.


Ktra appears in the cockpit, startling the co-pilot.
He sits down between the pilot and the co-pilot and says something to them before turning back to the cargo bay. He almost wants to ask "how's everyone doing?" but his question is answered with a mere glance - everyone's holding on emotionally or physically, not on the verge of death nor very lively/active.

The man turned back to the albino woman and says, somehow without having to raise his voice to be heard over the helicopter, "About twenty more minutes. It's a ways to go.... How's everyone holding up back there?"


Jay shrugs, to indicate that they are okay (for now). Margem ignores the question and rests near Darian, the headache now a migraine [something that Kitara would know about, considering her history].
