The eggs in my signature are baby dragons, Ninjas= Stealthy, sneaky, good assassins. But they tend to do a little overkill.
Pirates= Good at raiding, good sailors/navigators, not known for killing a lot of people unless needed. But not very stealthy and aren't very good at lone jobs, i.e. it takes more than one person to keep a boat 'ship-shape.'
Personally, I tend to lean towards Ninjas. But if we also had the option of Samurai, I'd totally choose them. Samurai pwn both Ninja and Pirates. They are precise killers, can take on a lot of enemies, and are loyal to their lords. Give them clicks so they can take flight. ^_^

ninjas would beat pirates only if the pirates were to drink too much rum, but then again if the ninjas drank too much saki the pirates would wiin. what a toss up

Ninjas are the masters of disguise and stealth, not to mention sneak attack. Ninja trained themselves to gain clairvoyance. And they master many ancient weapon.
Pirates are daredevils, high-risk taker, and bloody aggressive. Well, I don't have as many information.
I go for the ninja... they can disguise themselves as a crew of the ship and strike with the time is right. Ninjas are train to fight in shadow and not face to face combat.

zentlair In most cases, I would lean towards the ninjas (being a blackbelt myself), but if it's Johney Depp, well those stupid ninjas don't stand a bloody chance. Arr!! pirate You know, once I had this dream that involved a phone, and it's ringtone was "Arr, me matey, pick me up!!" pirate sweatdrop awsome!! i wish my phone did that!
