In this episode of Monday Night WAR, Samoa Joe would start things off by simply calling out Austin Aries and Kane. He would call them out after being screwed over at Summerslam by both Kane and Austin Aries, with Kane turning off the lights and chokeslamming Samoa Joe in order for Aries to retain the CWF Television Championship, and with Austin Aries doing anything and everything in order to retain the title. An enraged Samoa Joe, furiously called out the two, and they would show up, however, challenging Samoa Joe instead, to a tag team match but assuming Joe didn't have any friends or any allies to back him up, out would come The Monster, Abyss! Abyss wasn't booked in any matches, and had some free time to spare to help out The Samoan Submission Machine, as later on in the night, the four would face off in a tag team match!
Roman Reigns would then take on Luke Gallows in a singles match. Upset over coming up short against Karl Anderson, Roman Reigns would look to take his anger out on Luke Gallows, in which he would then single handedly defeat. Karl Anderson, who was at ringside, would try to interfere near the end of the match, only to be delivered a superman punch off the apron, and Reigns would follow up with one to Gallows, and then a spear for the cover, and Roman Reigns would pin Luke Gallows! After the match, for good measure, Roman Reigns would then return to the ring to deliver a spear to Karl Anderson!
The Celtic Warrior Sheamus would take on the hard hitting Chris Hero in one on one action with Sheamus returning to CWF Television after a three year absence and Chris Hero returning to squared circle 4 months after competing at No Way Out for the CWF World Heavyweight Championship inside of a Elimination Chamber! Chris Hero is back, and doing much better for himself, as he would showcase all of his abilities laying waste to Sheamus and cementing himself as a top contender for Austin Aries CWF Television Championship! After Chris Hero would defeat Sheamus, Austin Aries would show up through the crowd and clobber Chris Hero upside his head laying him out, sending a message just days before their match!
Sasha Banks would debut on the Monday Night WAR Roster after being traded from Friday Night Throwdown in exchange for Carmella, Sasha would find herself reunited with Bayley and the two would renew their feud with Absolution, as Sasha Banks and Bayley would team up to take on Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a Tag Team Match to determine which team gets to qualified for the first ever Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and with Sonya and Mandy trying their hardest, it wouldn't break Sasha's concentration, with the two hitting Sonya with a Backstabber into a Bayley to Belly combination for the three count!
Later on that night, Sting would celebrate his CWF World Heavyweight Championship win, taking the title off of Joey Garcia and submitting himself as a thorn in Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's side. The bosses would make their presence be felt, and would let Sting know that his match at The Great American Bash would be a Triple Threat Match with Sting facing both Joey Garcia and Triple H, only for Roman Reigns to make his way to the ring and let the world know that he was screwed by Gallows and Anderson in his match against Matt Gennison a month prior and wanted a proper opportunity. With that moment, Abyss would make his way to the ring, after winning the Bragging Rights match for team WAR, it had gave the Monster a future CWF World Title match and Abyss cashed in that opportunity, now making the match a Fatal 5 Way for the CWF World Heavyweight Championship!
