Leo smiled happily. "She stayed with me the first night in the apartment, and she helped calm me down earlier. She's a lot of fun to hang out with when she's not around the twins. Their voices are too loud sometimes." he said softly, settling back against his brother's arms once more.

"So, she's something like your big sister now," Asher concluded, relaxing into his bed and closing his eyes to rest. "Well, it's nice that there's someone with you while I'm here." He ran his hand through Leo's hair several times before he let them settle in an embrace. "Maybe she'll be the one to keep you company while I'm at work. I'd imagine you would be really bored during the day."

Leo could have started purring when Ash ran his hand through his hair, but he knew that would have been weird. "I guess she sort of is like an older sister. But things at home aren't that boring when you're at work. I keep myself busy with chores and listening to the tv." he said softly as he relaxed. Nothing could make him upset now.

"Really? At least you're entertained, and coming home to a relatively clean apartment is a bonus," said Asher. For some reason, he was imagining Leo with a feather-duster cheerfully cleaning the living room. He had to shake it out of his head, blushing at how cute the scene was. For a young man, his thoughts sure weren't masculine.

Leo smiled. "Its a little difficult to stay entertained but I make it work somehow. I just think that you work so hard, you deserve to come home to a clean house and a meal ready for you. Plus its nice having the house stay so clean because then I won't be tripping over everything." he said softly, drawing little circles on his brother's chest as he relished the feeling of his brother's arms and the scent of his body. He had been missing these things.

Asher nuzzled Leo's cheek. "You sure appreciate my work. Such a good little brother." He would imagine that quite a few people, specifically parents, would be jealous that Leo had that particular aspect. It made Asher's life so much less frustrating. "Parents may boast about prodigies, but I have my sweet baby brother." He hugged Leo as if he was a teddy bear now.

Leo let out a soft giggle as he was being hugged, his hands over his brother's as he squirmed a bit. "Your squishing me!" he squealed excitedly, but he never really said it was a bad thing. "I'm sorry I forgot to bring you some books, we were dragged here in a hurry. There wasn't much time to grab anything."

"Apology not accepted. You shall be punished!" Asher declared as he began to tickle Leo. "Feel my boredom-induced wrath!" His fingers ran over his brother's sides and stomach, moving like panicked spiders. Of course, he would have to stop eventually so Leo could breathe, but he was going to enjoy the boy's laughter for now. He could never really get enough of it.

Leo squealed excitedly and squirmed under his brother's rapid moving hands. "No! Not the boredom-induced wrath!" Leo continued to laugh until he was out of breath and gasping for air. "Come on let me catch my breath!!" he giggled, trying to stop his brother's hands even for a minute or two so he could catch up on his breathing.

Asher did stop, letting Leo get some needed oxygen. His hands returned to embracing the younger. "We should probably mess around like this more often," he said as he waited for Leo to recover. "It really reminds me of the good old days." His brother's laughing was also music to his ears, but it wasn't like he was going to say that out loud.

Leo's laughing died down once his brother stopped with his tickling. "Yeah...back when we used to play pranks on each other?" he asked with a little smile, stretching up toward his brother's head and rubbing his hair. "It took you so many showers to get that honey out of your hair!" he said with a little giggle and a twisted grin. Leo was always pretty good in coming up with crafty pranks to play on his brother.

Asher smirked and gently swatted away Leo's hands. "Sure beat the my mud at the door, but did you have to use honey?" he said, taking note of his brother's grin. "My hair was infested with ants every morning! Those things itched like crazy and everyone thought I had lice." The ants also tend to bite into his scalp, which didn't help when he had been trying to concentrate on tests. It was the worst week in his highschool life.

Leo grinned from ear to ear. "Well I guess thats what you get for eating all of my halloween candy!" he protested, though he was sort of proud of himself for coming up with such a clever prank. "Although being grounded the next two weeks wasn't all that fun, but it was worth seeing your face when you confronted me about it. And watching you try to read your textbooks at home."

"Whatever. I bet the pencil shaving cereal was adequate revenge. Took me forever to shape those things into Fruit Loops," Asher said, sporting his own twisted smile. Sure, it didn't last as long, but it had been equally as funny. Their childhood had mostly consisted of pranks, imaginary adventures, and all the other components for a healthy boy's life.

Leo gave a sour expression. "That was not funny....mom had to pick splinters out of my tongue!" he said as he pouted a bit from the memory of having tiny wood shavings in his mouth and gagging from them. "But at least you got grounded too. Made me feel a little better!" he said with a gentle smile. "I miss those days." he said softly.
