All three were getting pummelled by wing attacks and sperra's charge hadn't been restored yet. She was starting to panic. Paniced sperra was not good.

Jan didn't hear her over the pidgey cacophany, nor did Sperra. He didn't even know she was there.
But Sperra, having endured quite a few hits, finally felt her charge build.
"Elect.... RIKE" lightning burst from her body, zapping the pidgies around her. Fortunately, she did not hit the children as they were below its range.
Jan quickly took his book.
"Okay, del, lets go!" he said.
Del wasted no time dragging him towards the balloons.

There was still more of the damn things to come, and they soon found that their passage was blocked.
Okay, forget ignoring pidgies. Delah swore, then and there, that she would kick them. Not a good oath to have as a healer, but seriously. Screw em.

Delah caught a glimpse of the balloons. They were so close. But then the birds blocked her view. Would they die up here? She was kind of freaking out!
