The suspense was too much.
He broke out into a trot, ignoring the creaks and crackling noises the worn and rotting floor issued, until he came to an abrupt stop just in front of the shelves.
He reached in to grab his prize, before turning to go back the way he came.

After maiming him it was more co-operative and both of them moved along.
Lyzzi climbed up the swing as carefully as she could, but her hand slipped and she fell back down on the ground.
