Seth, I ******** love you, you tanky b*****d. That does bring up a question, though. Pavise currently reads something along the lines of "subtract die roll from damage taken next turn", like if you have multiple enemies attacking, that Pavise buff only gets applied once at the end for damage removed. Your comment in Game 4 implies that it get added to the defense buff, though, so it's applied each time ally defense is applied. Which is it? Sue. Seriously. You were given 48 hours as an exception. It took you five days to notice this topic and notice it was your turn. Five days. I'm not asking too much. Please start checking in more often, for even a minute, to see if it's your turn to play. You don't have to log onto AIM. Just pop in, see whose turn it is, and leave. It's not fair to make the rest of us sit on our hands and wonder when you're going to wander along again. Don't take this as scolding, please. If there's anything I can do to make this easier, let me know and I'll try to do it. But please try to be a bit more prompt. We can't afford you getting skipped.

I told you guys. TREMBLE IN FEAR AT MY DEFENSIVE MIGHT! Also yes, Sue, even if you don't get on AIM, Skype, whatever, check this every..two days at the least. I offer the same thing Gale did, if there is anything I can do to make this easier, I will. You can always have someone make your move for you if you can't make it.

Pavis was always intended to boost the unit's defense by the die roll until their next turn.

Here's what I will say about Canto and Galeforce.
Canto users should only be affected by where the end the turn on as they are only temporarily going to be on a space if they have leftover movement. Galeforce users should be affected by both spaces because Galeforce is an extra turn, not leftover movement. Unlike Canto, is not going to always happen.
Edit: since I'm going to be here on gaia I can take the turns myself.

I guess I should designate a person to move for me if I can't make it. I really didn't mean to keep you all waiting for so long. Um... Gale or Rath/FS can move for me if I don't respond. I'm trying to be here as much as possible, I really am. I'll be off this week so I'll definitely check more often. I really don't know what else to say.

Preferably not me, since I'm GM.
Also, I'd like to point out that the Daemon cards Seth got are most effectively used by Leena, as she has the highest magic of the units who can use the cards. Ziaram is 2nd with 1 mag, but he's better off using pursuit on things. Her having the cards would be good if you need an extra fighter on a round, and it keeps her at range, since it's 1-2.

So looks like, miraculously, everyone's at full health so I just need to know the battle plan. Stay where I am or head towards space 16 to move up with the upcoming frontlines?

You could go try to stave bonk the barbar that's almost dead, since both those barbars will probably die this round and the space they're on filled by an ally. Just an option.

If not that, I was going to have Shinon take a potshot at a healthy barbarian and Mihira take out the weak one for EXP.

Belzayne So yeah. I just did a thing. And holy crap these barbarians are gonna fall. I would high-five you so hard right now. procession: rin attempts to melee bar[23a] ( who should have 2HP, not 9HP), fails to do damage ziaram smacks the s**t out of bar[23b], reducing it to 23-20= 3HP shinon attacks bar[24], 19-10= 9HP future plan: mihira eliminates bar[23a] vika eliminates bar[23b] seth attempts to eliminate bar[24] leena pushes forward

As discussed with Rath on AIM, I will be assuming Leena's turn only if Sue does not move her in her allotted 48 hours. That means it's still on Sue to keep us from waiting the full two days, but we're making the exception here because Game 4's objective directly involves Leena making it to an escape space and she can't do that if she's consistently in danger of getting skipped.
(and no, sue did not tell me that she was only available on weekends.)

Kay! No objections here. After this however, I think a good plan is for basically me to scout ahead if possible. If there are any more traps, I can take them. Besides, unless it's a mage, if I get a half-decent Pavise roll, I should be able to tank everything that comes even if I hit a bloody trap. I am the one with the most defense overall when I don't attack. Probably post this turn, assuming enemies aren't too close, I can scout ahead a few spaces and attempt to trigger any traps, retreating back if I absolutely need to.

Probably post this turn, assuming enemies aren't too close, I can scout ahead a few spaces and attempt to trigger any traps, retreating back if I absolutely need to. That's good! I like that. I'll also offer Vika as auxiliary backup attack support, since she can tag along with a given unit and not be an attack target. Mihira and Vika are also airborne mobile, so they can cut across terrain if needed. vika post transparency time roll d8 = 8 maximum terrain coverage = well, just about anything, but anything above 30 is a very bad idea vika:atleast[9] bar[24] = 60% seth:atleast[9]bar[24] = 70% seth d8<2 kills bar[23b] with any attack, cantos to 23, shades vika bar cannot be left standing because 20% chance of rin fatality, if anybody else wants to take that risk then by all means let's keep the barbarian boxed in and let ziaram have at it leaving bar[24] alive for next turn allows ziaram to get EXP space 25 could be a trap trigger space, taking that risk moving to 25 killed bar[24]
