Right after she was done attacking the creature got a good hit on her.
One of the numerous tendrils had gotten her in the back and it hurt something fierce. Risking a look at the injury the ghoul could barely restrain a wave of panic : black fumes are escaping the corroded burn ! Her whole body shaking the tentatively prodded at the damaged area. Good thing it was mainly numb.
After a while the faint feeling passed and Asherya felt better.
... That is, until she saw that her gem was damaged. Damn, the cat-like thing said to take care of it ! And now black mist is escaping from the cracks on the surface !

She stares silently down at the little crystal in her hand. Then soon, bends down to peer at the Fear core. The several cracks make her brows furrow in soft worry. "So you didn't get one of these crystals.. and you got hurt really bad. I-I'm sorry..."
Squeezing the crystal gently she hurriedly presses it against Tanith's Fear core and watches the cracks disappear. Alice's face grows into a huge smile as she puts away the now useless crystal fragment.
"There! You're all better now! Right? It wasn't so bad." She hold the lollipop close again, standing up and staring down at Tanith. She reaches a hand out to help the girl up.
"I can't believe how cool your attack was Tanith! Can you do anything else with that bag? " Her head tilts curiously as she stares at the bag. "It's so cute too.."

She's using the crystal to heal Tanith's Fear Core!
Melony yawned. "Um, Zelda, I think the thing we should be worrying about is getting those of us who received the most damage some healing. I mean, what if we have to fight again?" she asked, taking her crystal and gem and holding them close together, watching the crystal soak up the cracks and darkness.

She understood Ashleigh's feelings. Every fighter here might have felt the same feelings, to some extent or degree. "Insecurity, uncertainty, questions.. What's important is to put aside those feelings for battle." Stroking the edge of her sword beside her, she knew that those feelings might eventually place her into danger if she let them overwhelm herself. And there was all this talk about their wishes. "Wishes indeed." A sigh escaped her. She really couldn't have imagined making a wish, but if she was here, then she must have made one. That in itself was baffling considering that she rarely chose to rely on others. What had she gotten herself into?
"Don't think too much." She let her head lean back, staring up at the cieling. "Making any sort of plan or deciding our next move is futile in this case." Luka rarely liked plans, preferring to take things as they came along. Both Ashleigh and her seemed to be doing well for the moment following that philosophy. If they had no plan, then there would be no deviations or errors in the first place.
Nodding to the newcomer as a sense of acknowledgement, she listened idly while swinging her legs. "Dying, huh?" She looked over at Gwyn. She might have contemplated that thought but she didn't take it seriously. "Well, if the stakes are higher, doesn't that mean the prize is equally worth it?" From a gambler's point of view, Luka surmised a positive point. "I guess the only way to find the answers is to survive until the end."
"I don't plan to die. How about you guys?"

The feeling from the lash across her back faded almost as quickly as it came and Teal was able to focus more fully on her surroundings. What she found was a small crystal. As soon as she picked it up a small figure appeared and she jumped.
"Heals the fear core?" She repeated, looking at the crystal contemplatively. She nodded once and fisted it in her hand. "I think I'm going to hold onto this for a while."

Hecate smiled and dropped her hand. "Hahaha! No need to be formal! But...if you feel most comfortable doing that, if that's how you roll, then that's alright with me."
Hecate nodded at the girl, named Dani now, and looked at Melony. "I think we should get to healing some people. Makes sense enough."

Vatatchi Vatachi stared at her Fear-Core watch thing The cracks spread across it's face haphazardly, though it still worked. Actually, could this thing tell time at all, or was it just pretty? Or... she could say that apparently it was always Whoopass time. Yeah.
The cracks made her nervous. What were they? Why did they make her want to cry? Why did they make her uneasy? Why didn't she feel the wound at her back anymore?
Her ears were ringing slightly and she leaned against a wall- or something- to collect herself, not really paying attention to anybody.
So This was real enough. And more than just a ******** frills party. she took a whiff of her staff, and felt... calmer. Yeah, Vata, Deep breaths. deep ******** breaths. There ya go. You're okay
"So, anybody notice he mentioned a 'Wish?'" she said, to nobody in particular. She just liked to hear her own voice. "Any idea what he means by that? Right now I'd wish to not suck." she muttered.
But she was thinking, she felt she could almost grasp what the little foxy thing meant. Wish... wish... the sound of the sea. A frame for... something.
Oh... OH.
"Don't worry about me. So, anybody remember their wish?" she asked, a slow smile spreading across her face as she crossed her arms over her quarterstaff, ignoring the cracked watch face for now, "Caz' I think I wished to be a pirate. Or, something that involves being badass and on a boat. Pretty f...." she remembered that she wasn't cursing now "Pretty sure." Why she as a plant mage would want to be a pirate she didn't know but... actually that was kinda awesome. If she thought about it. Ships had wood. Wood was a plant. There was also seaweed. Seaweed was a plant. If you thought about it, really thought about it, a plant mage would work great. Well, unless the ship was metal. Then that would kinda kill the point. Besides, her spells seemed to go to scent? Hey, whatever. Scent worked. Or it would work once she figured out why she had ******** up.

And she may huff and puff and shout and cuss, but right now, why?

OOC
Name: Nila Age: 14 Subclass: Shaman - Spirit Assistance natural ability (spirit animal is a snow leopard - Onca) Gem: Green Weapon: Bladed fan Appearance
Her head hurt. There was a moment of clarity around this fact, short and sweet before the world collapsed into her soon to be over stimulated sense. The smells seemed unfamiliar and the sounds too, though she couldn't place exactly what was different about them. A hand reached to press against her forehead and rub her eyes before a voice caught her attention. Her shoulders jolted a little in surprise.
Awake? Had she been sleeping? Her eyes took a cautious look around, her frown deepening as her unfamiliar surroundings did not help to answer her concerns. Though it would seem the voice did. Yes, she could not remember much of anything and she was happy for some clue as to why she was here or what she was doing here.
Fight however, was not the answer she had expected. "Fight...?" Her fingers clenched subconciously, her throat seeming to dry itself suddenly. Did she even know how to fight? Nila hadn't noticed until now that she was actually looking for it.. her posture.. it was like that of a nervous animal. Her body was lithe enough, muscled lightly, in the way someone who frequently used their body might be. Her leg muscles seemed tight, ready to try and strike forward if something came after her or if she felt the need to get away. It was strange to notice it now, to try and dechiper why she was acting so defensively.
"Fear...?" Her fingers reached out, brushing the bladed fan that rest beside her, linger for awhile on the marking that rested in the center. It brought her a strange sense of comfort that she couldn't explain, and perhaps explained why the potentially dangerous fan was pulled so close to her chest. Protectively.
She wasn't exactly the most talkative respondent, seemingly more interested in gleaning the information greedily, while staring out suspiciously. Good fear.. bad fear. Fighting for a balance. For some reason Nila didn't feel the need to fight the information being given to her, to question how the voice would know such a thing. Maybe it was because it was one of the few things that seemed to feel right in this fog of 'What the ******** she pushed herself up from the ground, turning and twisting her wrists as if it were some sort of driven and subconcious exercise. The fan in her right hand made a soft whishing sound as it sliced through the air in slow circles. "I'll fight." She agreed simply. There was nothing else to do, and maybe it would help.
It seemed she wouldn't have to wait very long for the oppurtunity.
((Total newbie, so feel free to nudge me the right way if I muck something up. Alsooo catching up real quick!))
With the attention off of her own confusion and the being that had greeted her Nila was finally able to notice how very.. un-alone she was. The sound of their chatter, the sheer amount of noise from such a large group was perhaps what had been making her uncomfortable before. Her eyes flicked from one to the other quickly, as if trying to pick out someone she knew or someone who she even thought she might know.
Nila had no luck though, and soon enough it didn't matter. The beast that.. appeared? Glitched...? Whatever. The beast that reared it's head was enough to send the hair on the back of her neck prickling.
There were many others going in for the attack thankfully, and Nila attempted to slip through them, searching for anywhere and anything to liked like a good place to attack. In the end she had no clue, but it didn't stop her from swiping the blade in a quick underhand motion at the monster to see if it'd affect it at all.
Name: Nila Age: 14 Subclass: Shaman - Spirit Assistance natural ability (spirit animal is a snow leopard - Onca) Gem: Green Weapon: Bladed fan Appearance
It had hit, the slim blades of the fan making a slice that seemed to at least marginally effect it. And that was more than enough to boost her confidence, the frown that had been plastered on her face finally starting to fade for something a little more determined, maybe even the slightest hints of an upturn at the very edges of her lips. This was more like it. The fluid motion of her body, the adreneline coursing through her body.
The lithe girl jumped backward, light brown ponytail slapping against her shoulders as she hopped from foot to foot defensively. Wait for an opening. Try not to get hit.
"Take this!" Nila shouted as she lunged once more, rolling her wrists in a way that spun the fan before she tossed it, seeming to grab the small string that dangled from it at only the last moment, so she could reel back the weapon after it hopefully hit.

Asherya heard a girl near her ask if anyone remembered their wishes and decided to answer her. Exchanging information might be good. "Nope, sorry. I got no idea what it could be. I'm Asherya by the way."
Attempting to dodge she'd drawn back her fan too quickly, barely skimming the monster compared to her first hit. There was happiness that she had hit it, and disappointment that she hadn't done better, a strange mixture. But Nila hardly had the time to think about it, the monster was still as big and bad as ever, and her fan seemed almost hot beneath her fingers, the symbol on it throbbing.
Her arms crossed in front of her before sweeping out. "Uncia claws!!!" Nila was pushed backwards as ethereal energy swept from the bladed edges of fans, meeting the monster like a ghostly feline claw swipe. Her eyes widened in surprise as she tried to position her feet comfortably and defensively, panting for breath. How did she know that attack? Her body seemed to know it even as her mind drifted in frusterating obliviousness.
All Nila knew for sure was that that had wiped her out quite a bit. And all she hoped was that it made a difference.
Name: Nila Age: 14 Subclass: Shaman - Spirit Assistance natural ability (spirit animal is a snow leopard - Onca) Gem: Green Weapon: Bladed fan Appearance
Nila was satisfied with her efforts, giving a soft huff of pleasure as her strange attack seemed to land. Unfortunately she wasn't quick enough to dodge the monster as it finally struck back at her, slapping her hard with one of it's strange tendrils. Like a jellyfish the strike sent a spike of pain and stinging through her body and Nila instinctively tried to cover the wound with her hand. Her fingers however paused as strange blackness seeped from her skin.
Wha..what?
The pain and sting faded away into numbness after a few long moments, but the memory of the bizzare corrosion and strange black wisps was enough to draw Nila further away from the monster, hopefully out of it's attack range while she focused on recovering.
She almost didn't notice the crystal that had come from the monster, her attention only leaving her own wound when the strange figure reappeared, speaking to her once again.
It would heal her and her fear? Nila looked at the crystal skeptically for a moment, before looking back to the creature. And then she oblidged him, testing the crystal. The sensation wasn't an unpleasant one and when all was done she looked back up to him, head cocking thoughtfully at his parting words.
"My wish?" What did a wish have to do with anything? Other than wishing that monster would die or that she wouldn't get hit again.
Name: Nila Age: 14 Subclass: Shaman - Spirit Assistance natural ability (spirit animal is a snow leopard - Onca) Gem: Green Weapon: Bladed fan Appearance
Istas had watched a girl with a fan beat up another enemy. It was after she was finished and had healed herself that Istas moved over beside of her. "You took quite a hit," She sounded amazed at the hit the other had taken, it was much harder than her own. However, it seemed that the crystal had done a lot for her.
The younger girl tilted her head, "You're okay now right?" She looked concerned for Nila, "Oh, sorry, I'm Istas." She offered her hand in greeting.
When the new voice broke in she'd kind of expected it to be another of those.. strange animals. Being greet by another girl was slightly less jarring, especially because the other girl was smaller and presumably younger. Or more importantly. Probably not a threat.
Green eyes narrowed nonetheless, looking over the other girl before she extended her hand in return. "Yeah I'm alright.. Thanks."
Settling her collar and running a hand through her hair she glanced around before returning her attention to her company, finding one person less distracting then the whole group. "I'm Nila."
"Do you... had any clue what's going on?"
"I don't really remember well.. much of anything" It was perhaps not hte best idea to show that weakness. But Istas seemed harmless enough, and truth be told Nila was happy to have anyone that might be able to help her figure out what was going on.
