The recruits looked around at themselves and a few frowned as they looked at the numbers. Some tried their hardest to not speak while marching towards the Castle Courtyard while others simply murmured about their numbers and such. ------------------- Beck stood before the King of Nibelheim, Len and his knights behind him. "I have been here for about a day to rest, Your Majesty." said the Faowind before holding up the letter from the messenger. "I am here to prove you wrong. I am here to prove that the Faowind blood is still flowing through my own veins." With that he took a few steps forward, anger in his eyes. "Now let's get started on the tournament so I can prove who I am and get outta here."

Tray sighed then and after one by one the new recruits were all lined up in front of her she looked at them all before speaking. "I thank you all for joining our cause and our ranks. I am Lieutenant Tray Lord and I will be overseeing your training for part of the Faowind guard. You've all signed up willingly to be apart of the new world under King Beck Faowind rightful ruler of our kingdom." She nodded to the guards to open the gates and as they did she moved her horse to the side and got off then walked to the middle once more. "You were all given a draft sheet when you signed up please head into the the tent over yonder..." she said as she pointed to a large tent over to the side of the courtyard. ..."where you will be properly examined to prove you are fit and healthy and to be given training uniforms. The doctors who look at you will take the draft sheet from you to finish filing out the rest of the paperwork. After you've been approved through you will all join me right back here where we will begin your first leg of training." Tray stepped aside after that and watched as one by one the new recruits headed over to the tent that was indicated for further evaluations.------- The King of Nibelheim, a surprisingly muscular man considering his age clearly indicated by his graying beard and hair, even more surprising was how it was obvious he was fit even with his kingly apparel. He looked at Beck and sized him up he had to admit the man who took Viktor down was not what he expected he truly did look like a ruler and yet their was just something about him. He looked behind Beck and he frowned slightly as he sat up straight. "King Beck, did you forget part in my letter saying you were to be accompanied by three or less guards. I see my messenger but the other four before me and behind you are strangers. Three I can tell are your guard and yet the fourth..." his eyes narrowed at Len before he looked back at Beck. "Who might he be?" Len blinked at this he looked at Beck then slowly took a step back.

There was a total of 10 doctors and nurses that addressed and tested the men who signed up willingly, praising them all for being brave and protecting their country. -------------------------- Beck blinked before turning around and seeing Len back away a bit. His heart dropped a little but he remained in his current spot, seemingly unwavering. "He's one of my mentors. I originally came with Len and your messenger, but it seems my Lieutenant had sent some guards for more backup. My apologies in bringing an extra member." He looked at the King and gave a quick bow before saying "the guards were unintentional." Lied Beck.

The Nibelheim King raised his eyebrow at Beck when he explained himself. "That so?" he said, he looked towards Len again who by now was hiding behind the three guards he then returned his gaze to Beck. "So is he not a guard then?"

Beck shook his head "Not at all. Like I said before, Len is one of my mentors." Beck then added "Please, let's get the tournament over with." His hand and forearm gently rested against the hilt and handle of his sword. A glint of eagerness in his eyes as they were locked on the King. "Your majesty."

Sighing the King sat back then and looked towards the ceiling of the throne room the people of the court all around on either side by the pillars looking at their king wondering what his next words would be he looked towards Beck then. "Very well." He slowly stood up. "You said you've rested correct?"

"Yes. I've trained and rested to what I believe now to be my full potential. Atleast, that I can acquire within the amount of time you've given me." responded Beck as he locked eyes with the King of Nibelheim. Slowly but surely the man named Faowind readied himself.

"Then I shall meet you out at the courtyard, my attendants shall direct you." After that the King of Nebelheim headed off to another door and left the throne room. Slowly the rest of the court started to leave the throne room that all were left were Beck and his men, and Len. Len watched them then looked at Beck he blinked. "I knew I should have just stayed behind. You've gotten most of the hexes"

Beck chuckled with his response "It's fine. You can come watch me kick some arse." A few people walked towards Beck and Company before one said "Please. Follow us your Highness." Faowind and a few men nodded before following the attendants through the Throne Room. Beck readied himself mentally while going through spells, hexes and combos. Making sure to know what would happen. With that echoing clank of armor stopping as the group entered a rather large and lush green yard that held flowers and trees of many kind. In the middle was what seemed to be a concrete arena with steel bars around it.

Len was quite as he followed Beck and the others this was clearly not his element he looked at was clearly the arena and noticed people filing in most looked like common people he looked at Beck. "Look's like he's going to have people from his own country watch you Beck. Seems unfair to me should of allowed some of your people to come with you to watch you too."

Beck nodded. "That's true, but with some of my people coming he would probably find it some kind of declaration to war." he shrugged. "I'd much prefer you 4 see my victories and then tell them to the other nations." he then got an idea. Looking at a guard he asked "Travis...didn't you say you were working on communication spells?"

Beck chuckled and said "Ok. Well here, use this." He pulled out the green crystal and handed it to Travis. "Focus your energy through this and try to set a visual at the castle. It helps increase magick output exponentially. I know because I used it when I was recovering after my first fight with Viktor."

Beck smiled and took a few steps back before looking at the other guards. "I think we should go ahead and try to mine for these. I feel like they would help the economy a bit." he said calmly before looking at Travis. "Plus, I want to see if they have any benefit for the people." With that he looked at Len. "And if they improve hexes now that I think about it."
