Timothy gave a small smile. "it's okay, these hurts are fine, Aomine. You know I've been through worse. I'll definitely survive these." and looked at the man before making his smile a bit larger. "I'll be fine, Aomine. I forgive you."

Daren smiled back at JAmes, "Alright, but i owe you, ok? i'll take you out to eat every week for a year or make you your favorite meals or something ok? i know i screwed up big, but that doesn't mean i can't make up for it." Iroh walked into the room looking pissed. "Daren, outside. we need to talk. James, sorry, but it's police stuff. we can't talk about it in front of you." that and it would send the boy into a panic. Daren followed him out and he lead the way to a secure office that he'd been allowed to borrow. "Givens has broken out of his cell. we don't know how or when yet. he was there last night, but when they did they checks this morning, he was gone. we've every man out there looking, but you need to stick close to James and keep an eye out. he'd going to be coming for you, there's no question about that." James stood in shock for a minute. Givens was out? he had gotten out, but how? that didn't matter, all that mattered was keeping James safe. he needed to get back to him, now! Madison walked into the room with a couple print outs and x-rays, but he found James all alone. "oh, sorry. where did the other two go? i've your results..." he looked at James a little worried, "Are you ok? i can step outside if you don't feel save alone with me."

Timothy gave a small chuckle. "You don't need to cook anything, Aomine." and thought. "I like movies." he said, but Iroh soon came in, taking Aomine away. For police stuff? Unable to talk about it in front of him? Maybe it involved Mistress still, Timothy never knew she had an apprentice or whatnot but it ha to involve them, right? Hm, he wished he could know, but at the same time he was glad he was left in the dark, it was the most normal he'd felt in a while. Hazel eyes turned to the window, looking outside. It appeared he was on the second floor, that wasn't too bad. It looked a bit busy outside, he couldn't help but wonder what was happening. People just moving everywhere, though, he supposed it was around lunchtime, judging by the clock on the wall, they were just getting themselves some food. A woman on the phone moving quickly, an old man jogging in the opposite direction. He smiled spotting a small family, their child between them and being swung in the air. Behind them though... Timothy's eyes widened, spotting the man who had made the last four years of his life hell, but with the fear came the terrible sense of longing, despite how small it was. Andrew. What was he doing there? How did he know? Did he know? Was he guessing? The machine monitoring Timothy's heart rate grew quicker and quicker. Andrew was out there. Andrew wasn't in prison. How? He was supposed to be in prison. Why was he out? Did he get released? They hadn't finished going through the evidence though. Oh god, what if he'd escaped? Panic set in quickly, face losing color. Andrew was going to find him, was going to hurt him. The pale face spun to Madison as he walked in, breathing hard, the machine beeping at a dangerous rate. "N-No! Stay!" he said quickly. "Pl-Please... stay." he glanced back out the window, looking for the man and finding no one. "Wh," he turned back to Madison. "My results? What are my results?"

Madison moved to check James' machines, not liking the reading he was seeing. "James, I need you to calm down. where is Daren?" why did that idiot leave poor James when the boy was obviously so fragile? "here, it's ok. we can talk about your results later, let's talk about something else until James gets back. do you like animals?" maybe if he could get James talking, it would help calm the man. "dogs or cats maybe? or maybe you like to read?" he smiled as gently as he could, "i would like to get to know you a little better since we are going to be working together from now on." Iroh put a hand on Daren's shoulder, "i'm going to have a uniformed officer on the house every night, but i can't spare the men during the day. i'm sorry, Daren." Daren shook his head, "i know how it is. this damned arm, i'd be able to help out if it were for this!" Iroh smiled, secretly glad Daren was hurt and off duty. "just keep yourself arms and ready at all times. i have to head into the station. sorry i couldn't spend the rest of the day with you two." he placed a quick kiss to James' lips and hurried out, having a duty to fulfill.

"Dar-Aomine went to go talk to Iroh about police things." he said weakly, glancing out the window again, still not seeing Andrew. Was he gone? Was he inside the building? Oh god please don't be inside the building. At the question he turned back to the doctor, nodding at the question. "I-I'm more of a dog person a-and yesterday Aomine and I went to he aquarium to see the f-fish and I liked the seahorses. H-he even got me a necklace." and held it out for the man to see, calming down somewhat with something new to focus on. "I haven't read much, I've been trying to catch up on tv and movies." he said softly. "I always liked reading but my tastes are a bit varied." and gave a small smile to the man, still looking a bit pale and worried. "Y-You don't have to. They're just check ups."

Madison smiled, "i know, but i think that it would make things easier for you if we knew each other a bit first. My name is Dr. Taki Madison, but you can call me whatever variation of that you like. I like cats and dogs equally and read whenever i have free time. i like a variety of books as well, but i think my favorite genre is mystery." Daren hurried back to JAmes and was relieved to see he wasn't alone. "Sorry, Iroh needed to go to work, he got called in. but he sends his apologies, JAmes. he was looking forward to getting to know you better. are you alright?" James seemed pale and Daren worried their leaving him for so long had been a bad idea.

"Taki?" that seemed to catch Timothy's attention the most. He sure did know a lot of different ethnicities. This made him giggle. "I'm sorry. I've been around Given's so long that everyone's name is so odd to me now. Daren Aomine, and Iroh, believe me I am not trying to be rude, I enjoy it. It's different." but listened to the other man, finding him somewhat insane for liking cats and dogs equally but he couldn't judged, he lived with a man who loved cats. "Mystery?" and thought a moment. "I've always wanted to read the Sherlock Holmes series." he admitted, hearing and seeing Aomine at the same time. He rushed in like something bad had happened, and Timothy knew already that it had. "I don't... think I'll get along well with Iroh." he admitted softly. "I-it takes time, and he's seen videos of me." An excuse to stay away from Iroh, and after breakfast this morning he desperately didn't want to see the other man again. "I'm fine, I was talking to Doctor Madison." and chuckled a bit. "His first name is as odd as your last name, Aomine. But I like it."

Madison stood up and nodded to Daren, "I've the results of the tests. he's fine. there's nothing broken or fractured and his MRI turned out clean." he held up the various tests to show them, "other than that there's not much to tell, which is a good thing. You're going to be sore for a day or two, James, but other than that you are fine." he patted James' shoulder, "let me get you a couple prescriptions for pain meds and then you are free to go. i'll be five minutes, do you want me to shut the door so you can change?" Daren smiled, more relieved to see that James was ok. it wasn't like Givens was just going to show up out of the blue the day he escaped. he listened to the results, leaning on his bed as he did so. "Thank you Dr. Madison." "Taki. we're going to see each other a lot so you can call me by my name." "Taki, thank you." Daren smiled, the man did had a bit of an odd name, but he liked it.

Nothing broken or fractured, that was good, considering how many times they'd been bruised his bones were probably really strong at this point. Being sore was nothing. He could handle being sore. He smiled a bit, feeling the man pat him on his bruised shoulder, but for once it was a good sort of pain. "Thank you, Doctor Madison." Taki, Timothy felt it sort of rude to call the doctor by his first name but not Aomine. Normal people did that though, right? He had a lot of catching up to do. Moving out of the bed he stood on wobbly legs, or were they stronger? Timothy was rather positive they were getting stronger, though with all that running and moving this morning they also felt really wobbly. "A-Aomine. Where are my clothes?" he was still in his pajama bottoms after all.

Daren watched Taki shut the door and moved to help balance James. "you ok?" he looked him over and felt guilty all over again as he took in the scraps and bruises. "oh, right. i grabbed some when i changed." he picked up a plastic bag and held it out to James, "o just grabbed some, i didn't think about color or anything like that." it was just a tee shirt and one of the looser pairs of jeans. the socks and shoes were on the bottom of the pile, weighing the bag down. "do you want me to leave?"

"I'm fine, Aomine." He said, wanting to reassure the man. The bag was presented and he took it happily, looking at the clothes which were, once again, not made for the chilling weather. At least he brought him sneakers this time. At the asking to leave Timothy quickly shook his head. "No, stay, just, look at the door will you? Please?" and waited for the man to do just that before changing, unable to see the ground from the window at this angle. Shirt, pants, socks and shoes. He had to say he actually really appreciated the shoes. "The pants are a bit big." he murmured, knowing they were staying on but had the need to grab them in case they did magically fall.

Daren turned and face the wall, waiting for James to say it was ok. he glanced back and found the man dressed when he commented about the pants, "those are just comfy pants. you wear them when you want to go out but aren't feeling well. they were the first i grabbed, sorry. i didn't have time to find your jacket so here," he placed one of his jackets over the man's shoulders. it was big on him and looked way too cute to be legal. Daren smiled, "i'm dreading having to face your mothers, but seeing you like that makes it a little better. let's get your meds and head home, lest they arrive and we aren't there." how did he explain to the women what had happened that morning? either way he felt he was going to be adding a couple more scars to the tapestry that was his body when they were done with him. Madison walked into the room with two slips of paper, "alright, take this one every six hours to prevent inflammation and this one when needed, ok?" he handed back to James and looked him over. "do you want a wheel chair to take you out?"

"Comfy pants?" He questioned, Aomine soon giving an explanation. Pants you wore when not feeling well? How coincidental, Timothy wasn't feeling well at all. "I like these pants." He murmured before the jacket was placed over his shoulders. It was still warm and smelled like the man, though what he smelled like was hard to describe, plus he didn't want to be seen actually sniffing it so he shrugged the somewhat large coat on, feeling like a child playing dress up. "You're really big, aren't you Aomine?" he asked with a laugh, looking up as Madison walked in. Oh, his medication. "Thank you, Doctor." and took them, arms stretching through the sleeves though they only allowed his hands to be visible before they were mostly swallowed back up. "I'd like to walk." and looked down slightly, hiding his face behind the prescriptions. "If either of you wouldn't mind that, of course."

Madison wanted to hug James. he couldn't help it, the boy just looked so cute all wrapped up like that. "it's fine with me. you look nice and warm so you should be ready for the chill outside. i'll see you in two days ok? i'll be there at five, so try to be home around then if you can. call me if you need to change anything." Daren grinned at how little James looked, "i'm not big, you're just tiny. we need to get some meat on those bones." Madison seemed to share his enjoyment of little James in his coat, but the question made him nodded. "it's your choice, you know your body better than i do." he nodded to the Dr. as the man left "thank you taki. we'll be there. ready to go back home, James?"

They were both staring at him. What? Had he done something wrong? "Yes sir. Two days. Thank you Tak--Doctor Madison." he couldn't say another man's name without saying Aomine's first. and put the prescriptions in his pocket, walking a few wobbly steps toward the door. He could do this. He could do this. "Yes. Let me walk down stairs. Or an elevator." and like a stubborn child continued to walk, the wall never out of arm's reach.
