She paused for a second before continuing. "There's this... guy. And I... sort of, kind of... like him. I'm not sure how to tell him because I'm not one hundred percent sure if I should tell him at all. ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander looked at her, mimicking her pose to some extent, though instead of hugging them he simply rested his arms on his knees. "Well, that's a tough question." He said, his tone light and airy. "It depends on who this guy is, really. What he's like, you know." He said, the last of the remaining cars headlights making his eyes flash bright as they drove past. "There are some general hints though, to tell you if you should or not." He said with a casual shrug. "Such as if he's intelligent...has a business...good with nature...tall....brown hair...gray eyes..." He said, smiling sideways at her as he went down his list. He paused for a moment before shrugging again. "Any of those would definitely make him someone to go after." He added conversationally. It was a gamble, true, but if he was wrong then she'd (hopefully) laugh it off as a joke and he'd be right where he'd been. If, however, he was right in thinking what he thought she was getting at...well...╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She collected her thoughts before letting out a giggle. It seemed like he had read her mind, and she suddenly became more nervous. "Well, I mean... um... let's just say he's like that. You know, like you described. How would I... you know, tell him about how I feel?"

"Well, one would assume the best way to go about telling him would to be blunt and frank. However," He said, running his hand through his hair. "If I may take my own advice, and to keep this from becoming painfully drawn out-" With that, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to hers, his hand moving to the back of her neck fluidly and resting there gently, as though his muscles still remembered the motion like it'd happened just the night before.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

But with Alexander's sudden movement towards her, she leaned back, unsure of what he was going to do until it was painfully obvious that he was kissing her. With his lips on hers, her heart raced with surprise, but also in delight as she closed her eyes when his hand slipped around her neck. The warmth of his touch sent goose bumps down her spine and she leaned into the kiss as a small smile slipped onto her lips. There was something about the way his lips fit into hers that seemed all too familiar. She leaned forward a little more, feeling that spark of warmth jump between them as her heart continue to beat faster. She didn't want to end it, it seemed all too amazing to her, but she knew she'd have to pull back eventually to evaluate what had just happened.

As she leaned in to him he wrapped an arm around her waist, drawing her even closer. However, he left it at that. He figured it was best to keep things simple this time, though he held the kiss for as long as he could without making it awkward. Finally he broke their contact, though he only moved to lean his forehead against hers. "Well...now that that's out in the open." He said, smiling as he looked at her.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Their foreheads were still touching, and his eyes were the lightest grey she had seen in a while. She let out a relieved laugh, happy that it went over so smoothly. But she also laughed at his comment. "So... you knew?"

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander closed his eyes, his own heart fluttering, though it was joy rather than nerves. "I had some idea, mostly those were hopeful shots in the dark." he said quietly. He wanted to grab her up and kiss her breathless, but he knew she still didn't remember everything, so he simply sat there for a moment or two before leaning back and looking around. The lot was completely empty by now and the only sound that could be heard were crickets and frogs from some hidden creek. "I'm guessing...we should leave before we get in trouble." she said before moving to sit on her knees. "But you're probably right... we should go." She adjusted herself so she could climb out of the end of the truck with Alexander. She then followed up with folding the blanket and stuffing it in the back and closing the bed door, then walked to the front and hopped in the drivers seat, her mind still on the kiss. ━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander followed her example and moved to sit in the passenger seat once everything was put away, his legs crossed comfortably, as though he'd forgot exactly what he was sitting in. She was right, it was nice there and the night air was wonderful, but it would ruin the moment he figured if someone showed up to chase them off.

Daиιelle ⋯ ReιиhaяdtPlease, call me Danny. █ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ ▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ █━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ After a short car ride filled with chit chat about the movie, it's wonderful special effects, and occasionally comments about some of the cheesy lines in the script, they were turning into the parking lot of Alexander's shop. It made sense that Danny should drop him off first, she wasn't going to make him walk home. She let the car run quietly as she got out as Alexander did, walking with him to the front of the shop, still talking with him about the movie. "-no, no! But then he was all like, 'I told you so!' and I just about died from laughing. I mean, you saw me."
She laughed again lightly, so glad everything had worked out that night. "Aaaanyways..." she said with a sigh, turning towards him as they stopped at the door, "Guess this is goodnight, huh?" That same odd feeling of familiarity came with their lips touching, and as he pulled away, her smile was soft. "Of course. Why would I ever skip work?"
She let herself take a step towards the parking lot and said, "See you tomorrow." With a sparkle in her eye, she turned away from him and walked towards her car, jumped in, and drove away with a wave. ━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander watched her go before finally turning and opening the door with a touch. He entered and scooped a startled Rasiel up. Oh, I take it things went well? the fox asked sleepily. "They went exceptionally amaz- why are you bloody?" He said, mildly alarmed by Rasiel's fur being a sticky mess. Ah, I killed a vole and had to fight this stupid housecat when it tried to take it from me. It's his blood, not mine. Rasiel said, his mouth open wide in a yawn as Alexander released him and stripped off his vest and shirt, as well as his gloves, which were now bloody as well. The fox grinned. Well, I'm glad you had fun.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
