Had Marshal ever mentioned blind people before today? She was pretty sure he hadn't.... So what was it that he was talking about??

"I believe it's in my book...." He mentioned the book, but he didn't bother to look for it.
"I believe it was a year ago...I stumbled upon the woods and I came across a blind girl..." He looked at Saya, he seemed serious.
"She was like you....kinda..." Marshal trailed off, he began to remember well, but Timmy interrupted.
Just like Saya?...She was far more prettier than her Marshal was glad Saya couldn't hear Timmy.
"Her name was Nathalie, she got lost in the woods, I offered her my help and I lead her out of the woods...."
I couldn't stop staring...could you? Marshal wanted Timmy to be quiet, it was hard for him to think.
"She told me not to return her home yet, something about finally having some freedom now..." He explained to Saya that the girl never left the house because she was blind.
He stopped, he didn't feel like continuing his story, "What did you do to my hair?" He tried to digress from the story but knew it wouldn't work

He told her that the town had a festival, and that the two went to check it out, "We had fun in the festival, though I almost went crazy...."
He remembered trying to kill someone because he made fun of Marshal, Nathalie calmed him down.
"She was a weapon I think...." He remembered seeing her arm turn to a shield.

Marshal hated himself, he didn't want to continued telling his story, "I told her that it was still day time...that there was still time.."
They did have fun in the festival, but he shouldn't have lied, "She found out that i was lying..."
