It's not ideal. Saving for anything big like that would definitely be difficult. I've been saving for a car for just over a year now and I've only just got a little over $2k. Having said that, I don't actually work. I did do some work earlier this year and that's where over half of that money came from, the rest was from accumulated birthday money from my 21st last year.

I only work part time at the current time. I'm gonna try to start looking for a second job or actually start really selling what I have. The past couple weeks I've been watching my savings start shrinking and since I moved I've only really bought stuff for my kitten.

Job seeking for me is rather difficult because retail outlets won't take me at all (I have no experience in retail and why pay me, when they can pay minimum wage to a 16 year old?) Professionally speaking, I'm not quite qualified yet for a proper job as a junior geologist, but by the end of this year I should have all qualifications necessary.

Yeah... We're currently hiring where I work because we had to fire someone on the 30th. And I've been talking with the owner as he goes over the applications. We talk business stuff a bit because I went to college for business. And some of the comments he makes about the work experience of the applicants. Though its more of a "Why are they applying here when they have the schooling and experience for that?" And the agreed answer is usually because they think we're UPS and will end up getting awesome benefits if they get hired.

I was given the chance to do a business course for free a couple of years ago but I pretty much bombed out because I found it so incredibly dull. Office work bores me - if my brain isn't being stimulated by something outside or in the lab, it just switches off. I'm a very visual, touchy-feely sort of person when it comes to work and learning. Sitting at a desk...I understand that it's important and must be done, but it's just not for me.

I do agree that it is completely boring. I don't know how I got through it. I don't know what I'm going to do with it though. Looking at the applications that come in makes me want to more and more just try to run a business on my own.

That's a cool idea. I know it might not be considered a business, but I've been thinking about opening an Etsy store. It won't really have a theme - it'll just be a mish-mash of things I make.

It is. At least legally in America it is. Which is where I'm trying to get mine started. But I keep backing out of listing things and I'm not pushing advertising enough to get traffic to my website. That and I forgot how to upload the photos to my website. I'm gonna have to call my uncle again. I might try to reconfigure it and just focus on divination readings until it draws more traffic.

So I didn't end up writing as much on Set as I thought I was going to. I think for now its because it was starting to head into sketchy territory. So I'm gonna try to come back to it to add more later. But I figured at least give you guys what I've got. And I've added more to Min, Seshat, and Bast. Thinking about typing up one for Djehuty while I'm at it. I'm not sure yet though.

iKill: Thanks. I started another one that I was going to paint with the Set-animal on it. But I have no chalk. So whenever I can get to the store next I'm gonna try to remember to get some so I can finish the notebook and paint some others.
