Willow: "True..." Xiao mutters. She continues throwing spices and foods into the stew in silence. She begins stirring it slowly.

I shake Leina's hand. "Yes, I am Apollo. And I suppose I can get a bit Senile sometimes..." I say.

"Well, the options there, it's your choice if you choose it or not, I care little either way" she placed the last ingredient on the table "It's your life at the end of the day".

Willow: Xiao snatches up the ingredient and pours a bit into the stew. "Thank you for your help," she says. "The stew will be ready soon. You should go wash up."

My smile becomes more relaxed with a bit of amusement in it. "Well, I think everyone can be a little crazy at times," I gently pull my hand back, trying not to be impolite. "God knows I am..." I continue with a soft laugh.

While waiting for Branwen to shed her makeshift covering, I decide to head over to my desk and search for any kind of offical paperwork the shows I own Xiao, or a black paper so I can draft an offical letter to change her ownership. Hmm... if I freed her, I'm not sure what the rules are in Ji'on about being reinstated into bondage... so I think instead I'll make it so that Xiao just becomes her own owner, so that she technically can't be put back into the system... I think. However, I start to wonder a bit if she'll act the same way towards me if I released her. Would she... leave me? Regardless, she was too sweet a girl to see in servitude, and I wanted her spirit to run free.

"Indeed, and I'm sure that will become even more true, considering the situation we're in." I say to Leina, taking a casual stance and talking in a friendly tone.

I nod my agreement and smile even more. Gosh... Since when do I smile like this??? "So..." I start as I glance around, trying to think of something to talk about. "What do you think of this place? I don't think I've ever been in such a huge building... much less a home this big..."

Layla: You find the documents in question. They are old, but still fully legible. There is a section on the bottom that has never been used: Change of Ownership. It requires the second page (which you find right beneath the first) to be signed by the current owner and the owner-to-be. The section on the bottom of the first page has a series of lines to list all of the owners. Your quill pen and inkwell are sitting on the table near the candle.

I smirk a little at the idea of not only freeing Xiao, but getting to make fun of the institution in the first place. I dip the quill into the inkwell, priming my weapon for this symbolic assult against the concept of owning a person. On the appropriate page I write down the following words in a fancy, calligraphic font:
Sale of Xiao from Layla Abdul to Xiao for the price of 0 coppers
I look down on the sheet and smile, though, I figure, this sheet needs even more satire. The idea selling someone to themselves already provides her with liberation, but it was missing something. Love! That's what it was missing! No better way to fight a dehumanizing system then to shatter it with the power of love! I dip the quill into the ink once more to let flow an elegent river of midnight black. The document now read:
Sale of Xiao from Layla Adbul to Xiao for the price of 0 coppers and a kiss upon the lips of a duration of no shorter then 5 seconds.
Now, I was satisfied with my work. I smiled warmly as I saw it, and left it out for the ink to dry.

I smile and lightly blush at what Layla says to me, becoming so very encouraged and flattered, even if I don't entirely believe it about myself. Then I blush intensely at fearing to lose my covering, even temporarily, and eye Mazurn warily before I get up close to Layla and lightly ask, "Um...where can I undress behind?" I prepare to shed my -er, Mazurn's donated- clothing by gripping my sleeve.

"Well... Lets find you a curtain, shall we?" I say to Branwen. As I start searching around for a curtain like the one in Xiao's room, I take note of her blush. "You know, that shade of pink is really endearing! What is it about blushing that makes pretty much everyone so much cuter?"

Layla: You find a curtain between your bed and the wardrobe.

I pull out the curtain and set it up. I could help but notice the difference between medieval society and the modern one... even with a curtain, i can;t think of many people who would change so close to someone else, barring the usual exception of couples and such. I let her walk behind it while I search for clothes. I decided to focus on a nice and elegent look... with a subtle touch of seduction. I look back at Branwen, waiting to see just what exactly would be the best way to do that. "Got a favorite color?" I ask.

I blush even more at Layla's mention of my blush, then I cover my face in embarassment and peek through my fingers one last time at Mazurn before walking behind the curtain. "Oh dear...I think...oh...I didn't really blush in reality, but here...I'm a red chameleon! I think maybe the flushed cheeks just adds a look of innocence to people but...oh...you think it makes me look cuter?" I absolutely smother my face as I smile and chuckle in embarassment. "Oh...favorite color?" I say against my hands, then realize how smushed my lips are, so I lower my hands to my chin. "I really like red...it's so pretty..."
