With tear stained cheeks, Callum looked around as people around him were changing colors and getting beat up by bats. Why, oh why, couldn’t they just go home. Everything was going so wrong… why was this happening to him? What did ever do to deserve this?

Unfortunately, it was only getting worse. The whale sucked in a massive amount of air, trying to swallow people up whole. The green Callum clung to the rainbow road with a fierce grip. His other hand held onto Layton…. but, Callum didn’t have the strength or will to keep his hold on her. Too scared to do anything but save himself, his grip on his sister slackened… until he let go entirely to cling to his own scared life and the road.

Layton looked up at the whale. Oh? There was a whale trying to suck them up. That was cool. Layton ... wait for it ... didn't care.

Her yellowish body slipped from Callum's frightened hand, and she went flinging towards the whale. Her little sweater cardigan went flapping, but luckily stayed in tact.

It was actually probably a good thing that Layton's emotions had been suppressed. Had they not been, she would be sniveling, crying and screaming her head off. She probably would've had a heart attack and died by now. This was WAY too much for a little girl who considered gardening to be the most exciting event of her day.

On the way in though, she smacked into the whale's side, probably causing nothing more than a little smack would a human, but hey, it was damage right? Afterwards, she flew into the mouth and ended up in the same slimy stomach as everyone else.

Felix wasn’t sure whether or not to be relieved when the whale began to move again, providing him something else to pay his attention to—his mind was far too chaotic and frazzled to handle this rather….passionate Felicia any further. It was when he stared at the whale’s gullet that he remembered that a senshi had been sucked into it a while ago. Whoops. Well, judging by the thrashing inside, Felix figured that there was enough air for the girl to survive.

Except the whale was now swallowing gulps of air when immense force. While he still tightly, albeit reluctantly, held onto Felicia, Felix inched toward Layton and Callum. “You guys, hold on—“ Before he knew it, Felix had released his hold on Felicia as he reached for Layton’s hand, far more worried about the young child than her cowering brother. It would prove to be a mistake, however, because as soon as he let go of Felicia he was floating into the air with Layton. “Crap, this isn’t good--!”

He crashed onto the floor…er, inside the whale. Felix blinked and examined his hands, which were now covered in slime. Gross. “Layton? Where are you?”

"Well, maybe," Aya hedged. It sounded alright - a bit sad for the whale, but wait, she reminded herself, she didn't care about the whale. The whale was the biggest of her problems right now. Screw the whale. Blast as many holes in it as possible, it was ruining her life. And also her slippers. Aya lifted one foot, noting how the now-soggy footwear tried to cling to the slimy whale-mouth. She mourned the loss of the comfy, toning slippers. "Ruined by whale drool."

She was distracted by the plight of her shoes by Natalia walking further away. "Wait!" Aya cried. "What if we can't find her, though. We'll be lost. Digested. We won't have any chance of escape on our own and we'll d-die here, and no one will ever know."

Oh god, here came the tears again. Try as she might to hold them back, the dam was breaking. Standing still where she was, Aya burst into loud sobs.

Natalia was not a comforting person. Not even while effected by the colors. If anything the color magic kept her from increasing Aya's tears with her abrasive 'suck it up' attitude. No, instead Natalia just gave the girl a stare somewhere between 'are you kidding?' and deadpan. She put her hands on her hips and shifted her weight to one leg.

"Right. Whatever. Let all the scary 'what ifs' stop you. I'm going to go find that magic chick."

Well, at least it hadn't been yelling. Natalia just wasn't a gentle 'crying shoulder' type person. And it probably wasn't too conducive to someone effected by a case of the blues. ... literally.

Being inside a whale wasn't pleasant. Wallace tried to relieve some of his feelings on the matter by blaming Flannery. It was a common tactic, and yet somehow, his heart wasn't in it this time, when she'd clearly brought this on both of them by punching the whale. All he could feel was miserable. His face was starting to feel stiff from all the salt on it, from buckets of tears dried on his face. Then he remembered that he hadn't showered after practice, and he felt even worse. Whale slobber was bad enough, but the chlorine could make him sick or turn his hair green. What else could go wrong?

Well, Green's arrival for starters. Wallace stared at him blankly for a moment before wailing at him incoherently. Before he could say anything of use, however, he felt a hand grasp his wrist. There was a fleeting vision of Roxanne pulling him out of the whale- and getting sucked in herself- and then he was back on the rainbow road, achy and tired and covered in whale goo.

It seemed that they all hadn't been swallowed, though. "Come on, Mary Read," he cried to Bela, lurching to his feet. It was difficult, and he slipped and skidded in the slime a few times before managing to stand. "I know we can't win, but we can't just leave them in there!" He leaped up, trying to grab Yellow, but he didn't get enough speed, and quickly crashed into the ground again.

Amy tried desperately to hang onto Jocelin, hoping Regina was safe next to her, but the pain in her right arm made it almost impossible to use, and she didn't have the strength to keep her hold on her. So instead, Amy slid off and into the whale's terrifying mouth. Her flailing did a little damage to the beast, but it wasn't enough to get the thing to spit her back out.
